Tried their new honey butter chicken sandwich & it was so delicious! Will def be back for this sandwich

As a California girl, I had to give the Big Cali sandwich a try when I visited Big Chicken. I also ordered the 3-piece chicken tenders with the Memphis BBQ sauce, you only get one sauce for three chicken tenders. You can get more for an additional charge. The good news: the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, not dry. But let me say this it was plain chicken NO FLAVOR! The employee who took my order was friendly customer service was good. Now for the not-so-good news. Again the chicken lol! It wasn't bad it just wasn't seasoned enough to get me excited. The Memphis BBQ sauce did some heavy lifting, but I was hoping for more flavor from the chicken itself. As for the Big Cali it was meh also, I asked for the bacon on the side. Let's just say the bacon and I were not a match made in heaven. It reminded me of fast-food bacon I've passed on before, and it quickly found its way to the trash. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable for the food either. The staff was great, the outdoor seating and the bar setup perf, but the flavors never really showed up to the party. Unfortunately, I don't see myself making a return trip. read more

Came here based on the other reviews. This review is solely for the their basic chicken sandwich. Honestly, the chicken sandwich was pretty good. They give you a large piece of chicken breast for your sandwich and the sauce that they make is really good with it. However, they only add pickles. And the sandwich really does not come with anything else apart from pickles and the sauce. In my opinion, I feel like it needed lettuce. However, we were kind of in a hurry, and I didn't even look to see if you could add lettuce to it. Service was pretty quick. There isn't a lot of interaction you basically order and then they bring out your food and that's it. Kind of felt more like a fast food restaurant versus an actual restaurant. Anyways, I would be open to eating there again. I would just probably add cheese and lettuce to my sandwich And actually get their fries. read more

That Nashville hot dip really is spicy but wow are the tenders perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It was my first time visiting Big Chicken. I had a chicken sandwich, fries and I felt for the price point a drink should have been included. The server was helpful to me as a first time guest and answered all my questions. This is Likely to be a one and done for me as I only came here with family on a visit in Las Vegas. The chicken sandwich and fries were delicious. My brother said the Mac and cheese was good. My niece enjoyed the tenders and fries with the honey mustard sauce. My brother who. Is not a spend thrift like me enjoyed a milk shake.. This was my first time trying Big Chicken. We came before noon, and the restaurant had about 5 tables occupied. We looked at the menu and I decided to get the Big Cali sandwich, which came with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce and tomato. Instead of fries, I got a coleslaw. I didn't get a drink, but the staff gave me a cup so I could get water from the pop machine. We had a seat, and then they called our order so I went to pick it up. We didn't have to wait longer than a few minutes. The creamy coleslaw was a big portion, and I ate all of it before trying my sandwich. The chicken was also huge, and I couldn't finish my sandwich. I liked there was avocado in the sandwich, even if the amount wasn't much. The chicken wasn't dry but it didn't have too much taste. My husband works across the street and I was coming into work later in the day, so we decided to have lunch together at Big Chicken before I started work. I honestly wasn't expecting much, given it's a celebrity restaurant, basically on the Strip, so overpriced and underwhelming was what was on my mind. However, I was delightfully surprised by this place. It's a big place, with plenty of seating for both small and large parties. There's a big bar you can sit at as well, along with an area with a foosball table. It was pretty clean and looked nicely decorated. Ordering was easy, it's counter service. The person working the register might have been pretty new as she didn't know some of the items we were ordering, but it worked out fine and all was good. While I do think this place is slightly overpriced, the food came out excellent. I was impressed with the quality of the chicken and bun we both got. My sandwich was a bit sloppily put together, so I had what felt like a big wet diaper in my hand where all the coleslaw migrated but I handled it. It was worth it, because the sandwich tasted so good. The fries were excellent and I'd come in just for those again and again. The cheese curds on my husbands sandwich were so good, I'd get that as a side on it own next time. read more

Wonderful customer service !!! THANK YOU! So I've been here before, but this time I decided to use the self order/kiosk. I take a long time to decide and I wanted to browse the whole menu. (When I probably should've just asked for help haha) I heard other guests getting ghost pepper something and it sounded good (I love spicy food). So when I saw that on the Kiosk, naturally I ordered it too... for an extra $0.99 When my sandwich came, I took a huge bite and dove right in. Little did I know the ghost pepper was dusted/ rubbed on the chicken... I thought it was a sauce. Needless to say, I was not prepared and I died a little inside (mouth is still on fire) but it was tasty! I tried to eat more but literally couldn't I went up to the cashier and told him what I did and wanted to order a PLAIN sandwich, because clearly that's all I can handle. He was very understanding and ended up giving me my sandwich for free (I wanted to pay), he took care of it right away and gave me a water cup and a little cup of ice cream to help with the pain. My ears were ringing !! It's really hard to find good customer service anymore... so I appreciated the above and beyond service. Didn't know if I'd make it out of here alive... First of all the s er vice was excellent. Because it was our first time the menu was explained thoroughly and they have happy hour all day long. The food was fresh and delicious. Seasoned chicken, fresh buns and the cheese curds are definitely not cooked in the same grease as the chicken. Madi spoke to us for quite a while and explained all the perks of downloading the app. The only thing I was disappointed at was they don't have blue cheese dressing otherwise 10/10 highly recommend. My first visit to Big Chicken and it was a very nice experience. We entered during a lull in the lunch rush and a kind bartender invited us in and asked if we had been to Big Chicken before. We said no and he kindly laid out the menu before us and walked us thru the many offerings and how the process worked. He described the typical sizes of the sandwich, versus a plate versus the new "Shaq Snacks". We placed our order, grabbed our beverages and sat down. The ambiance was warm and cheerful. Anyplace that has a roll of paper towels on the table gets a gold star from me and helps me get into the proper mindset for what is to come. I got the New Orleans style sandwich with coleslaw. My daughter got a chicken plate with garlic bread, coleslaw and fries. Everything arrived quickly to the table and all items were nice and hot. My chicken sandwich had great flavors not the one single flavor some competitors sell. I added some coleslaw to my sandwich and the added crunch and cool dressing was a great addition to my sandwich. My daughter tried dipping her tenders in the honey mustard and ranch dips she had selected. She decided the ranch was her favorite. The garlic toast was nice punch of flavor that was t expected. Be warned that the Ghost Pepper on the Uncle Jerome's Nashville Hot is not to be played with. If you don't mind not talking for 30 mins and enjoy a slow burn all the way down. You're paying to be tortured. If you like HOT food it's one of those flavors you try once and don't go back too. I also tried the Shaq Attack with pepper jack cheese. I ended up ordering the big Cali, that had bacon, avocado , caramelized onions, the sandwich was fresh but had NO flavor, it was really bland, I even tried the chicken alone and it still had no flavor. The fries were good, the Memphis barbecue sauce was good, the Big sauce was suppose to be spicy but it had no spice at all, the blue moon beer was good as usual. My coworker and I came for a work lunch. I've been several times but it's been awhile. We went around 1pm on a Friday, expecting it to be busy but it wasn't. The male who took our order was welcoming and friendly. You order and they bring the food to your table. I ordered the 3 piece tenders and decided to try the Dirty Fries. The tenders are always delicious, crisp with great seasoning. Several good sauces but my favorite is always the BC Sauce. I tried the Dirty Fries for the first time after reading positive reviews about it on Yelp. I love their Crinkle-cut Fries just on their own, so was hoping I didn't make a mistake. They were delicious. Fries topped with bacon, cheese, banana peppers, and a drizzle of I think bbq sauce. I only ended up eating one of the tenders and focused on the fries. They have a nice bar area and the female bartender was also friendly. She had a couple people at the bar and she was also handling take out orders. We were coincidentally in the area and ran into this gem. What are the chances we run into Shaq's chicken restaurant? The menu was impressive and they have great deals like the $1 ice cream cone and $5 margaritas. We ended up getting margaritas which were so refreshing. They have 2 margarita flavors - Lime and Watermelon. Huge fan of the Lime! If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend the Watermelon. After having the margaritas - we changed our minds and decided to get the ice cream deal. Best decision - the vanilla ice cream is super creamy and buttery. So good!!! I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and the chicken tasted a little more floury than the OG Chicken sandwich. I anxiously asked if I'd be able to swap it and Misty took care of it for me. I really appreciated how quickly she was able to get it changed out for me. She didn't owe me an apology but offered one anyway. I am simply very sensitive with taste. The cashier here was also very nice and helpful to us. (I forgot her name) They unfortunately had to get rid of the sauce bar :( It was one of the coolest things about this spot, but people tend to ruin good things. They threw in a few for us just to be nice. I also think they got rid of their signature flat fries. Our sandwiches were served with standard crinkle fries. A little disappointing, but the OG sandwich still tasted awesome. They did add sweet tea finally but it could use a little work, haha. I'm from the South so our standards may be a little high.
