Really good chicken and excellent sides. The food is hot and rolls and coleslaw is really good. I will go back for sure.

The worst hamburger I have ever had in my life! It's like charred meat dust. Unpleasant slow service and we were overcharged read more

Big Chic - Small Chicken legs - Chicken Wings Near Me - Griffin, Georgia

The worst big chic I have eaten. I came here because of big chics reputation in my home town. This was by far the worst customer service and worst bland tasting big chic I have eaten. And it was cold. How is it cold and under the lamp? I will not be back to this location. read more

This place was good about 3 months ago I think they may have changed ownership. The chicken did not have the skin on it it was very greasy. And the thigh felt like it weighed 2 lb I know it was not cooked fully read more

Big Chic - I guess this is what big chick in Griffin is serving to customers now. This should not be served to a customer. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Griffin, Georgia

My boss and I were in the area to look at a few of our upcoming neighborhoods and we saw Big Chic as we were coming into Griffin. We said when we got done for the day, we'd have lunch here, so we did and I'm glad we did. The Service: The customer service here was great and they were extremely friendly. I was only so confused as to what I wanted to eat, because there was so much on the menu, but the employees gave me several recommendations and help me narrow it down. The Food: Again, SO many options of what I wanted to try. The lady at the counter eventually suggested that I get the Fried Chicken Sandwich, so that's what I did. The sandwich was BOMB! Fire! I literally burned my mouth on the first bite when the juice poured into my gums. That chicken was FRESH! Clearly it was good, because I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of it. Overall, I definitely enjoyed my experience at Big Chic. The next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely going to stop by again. read more

Come on big chick. First time ordering from door dash and I get this. I ordered the 2 piece catfish fillets. Comes with fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies or roll. I opted for the hush puppies. I got one hush puppy about 8 bullshit fries and NO coleslaw. Food was hot. About the best thing out of the order. Just look at the pic! No more from me. read more

Big Chic - Catfish fillets. Trash fries and one hush puppy. No slaw. Should have came with slaw!!! $9.50 - Chicken Wings Near Me - Griffin, Georgia

You can never call ahead an order because the phone is disabled. So when you come in person to place any order larger than a two piece it's half an hour of waiting. No wifi. If you go with over an hour before closing they will not fulfill a to-go order of chicken tenders because they don't want to fry more. Even though they would only have to fry enough for the order you're there in person to pay for because you can't place a call in. I won't even start on the staff. I no longer shop here because of past experiences. read more

Once again disappointed...my side salad has pickles instead of cucumbers and no gizzards. Take it off the menu if you never have it, or make a note. Then I ordered a 2 piece snack and they don't have legs. What do you have? read more

I swear the location in Lagrange taste much better. I was very disappointed at this location. The food left much to be desired.

While at work I kept hearing about this Big Chic. I couldn't understand what the big fuss was about....It's just chicken... So I finally decide to go with a co-worker to try it out. I must say I was definitely impressed. It is real Southern Chicken. The kind you get at your grandma's house with fried okra and all the fixings. You know from the first bite of deliciousness that it is not good for you but once in awhile it's okay. I decided to try the fish sandwich this time with a side of fried okra. There is an upcharge of $0.40 for the okra as a substitution for the fries. It also doesn't come with a drink. You don't get a lot of fish with the sandwich but it's definitely well proportioned so you don't need much more of it. You're able to get the fish sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, tartar sauce, mustard and ketchup which is all complimentary. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a down south type of chicken. I'm very surprised that is not in the Metro Atlanta areas. The food is priced between $5 and $10 for most of the meals. The meal I purchase was $6 not including a drink. read more

Best place to eat chicken in Griffin Georgia never mess Service was fast food was hot.

Don't be fooled by the posted hours. We looked up the hours before driving across town and arriving 34 minutes before closing. There was a pan of chicken in the window and we were told that's the only choice. They have closed the cookers. The staff also said they don't care if we give a bad review, it's not their store. Disappointing. I shouldn't have expected more. Service is dead. read more

I'm giving this business a 5 star because the food is amazing. They have the best chicken in the city. I also gave them a 5 star because they are a small business and in order for them to grow people should call and give them feedback to get better instead of giving them low ratings to hurt their business. If this was Walmart you wouldn't take the time out to leave a bad review. You would have called and asked for the manager. read more

The only reason this place gets stars is because the food is great. I drove to this location 3x in griffin from buckhead and they weren't open. Online says it's open and when you call they never pick up. It took 1hr and 24 minutes to get there. And one other time I came I randomly didn't notice they turned the open sign off at 8pm and they're supposed to close at 9pm and they cut the lights out but we're still open. I mean who does that??? Do better there are so many businesses closing without patrons your business would cease to exist. read more

Friends and family please do not eat at this place. The service is extremely slow, the manager extremely rude and they cannot even get your drink order correct. I ordered a Diet Coke and was given a tea. After reporting it to the manager, she told me to wash my cup and get my own Diet Coke. I will never go back to Big Chic again! read more

I've been to this location a few times, and everytime it's pretty consistent. Good chicken tenders and French fries at an acceptable price. The chicken tenders have been a little cool a couple times but they still taste really good. They have grape soda here which is cool. Clean restrooms. My favorite big chic location and it will be right near where I'm moving! read more

Took almost an hour just for them to take my order they were very inpatient with the costumers and they were not that busy on another note I also seen them spill two gallons worth of tea on the floor bc they left a tea jug that they were filling up unattended read more

The Big Chic on Barnesville street in Thomaston, Ga has good food some of the time. Here lately, the chicken tastes like it's be fried in stale oil. It's safer to get a ChIckes sandwich with condiments to overcome the stale taste Or it's just cooked differently. since I don't work there, I can't tell you. their tea is more sometimes iffy. Anyone knows that if you don't wash the tea pitcher really good or at all, your tea WILL have an unpleasant taste. Well, there's definitely does! There are days when it's the BEST, but then there are those days that .... well, let's just say it's gross! Its a shame that the one up town doesn't offer Doordash or Carhop for delivery. Because that one is the one, along with the one in Zebulon, that is always serving the best in chicken, burgers, cheese sticks and yes, never bitter or cloudy tea. Management on Barnesville Street, you're letting your shop fail if this continues. Just clean out your fryer and change the oil and CLEAN the tea pitcher. It will make a difference. read more

The food is good but the service is sooooo slow. Its like they kill the chickens to ordet. Oh and if you pay with a card they charge a 4% surcharge. read more

Last Thursday 06/23/202 at 7pm I came to this Big Chic on Hwy 16 in Griffin Ga. I went inside the restaurant to place my order since the drive thru line was so long. Once inside I told the lady at the register I would like to get a 6pc. chicken and was told by lady who placed my order you have to take what we have VERY RUDELY. So she was getting ready to fix the order and I told her you know what don't worry about it ma'am just cancel the order. Her response was SHIT GOT DAMN and I responded by saying ma'am you don't have to curse me or at me. There was another older lady who was working the counter that just looked at the young lady when she responded in this matter. If I didn't want the order after this statement was made to me I just didn't want it. How are you going to tell me the customer I have to take what you got when I'm the one paying for it with my money. The correct way to have handled the situation would have been to tell me the customer that I only have this and that left (referring to breast, wing and thigh). NOT U gone have to take what we got (I don't know what u have because I don't work there and was just getting off work). I used to love to come here when the owner was working in the kitchen and his wife was working the window. This establishment has changed since Covid-19 very unprofessional. I hope the owner reads this review so he and his wife will know how his restaurant is being ran internally and how the workers are treating customers. Have a Blessed Day! read more

I am from back woods county Mississippi so the only thing I order from The Big Chick is gizzards and they are great! The service is always exceptional and the preparation time is reasonable. They keep it clean and I always come back for more! read more

Literally the SLOWEST drive thru in Griffin but I love the chick filet sandwich. Such a shame it takes forever to get it.

This place is a must try!! The gizzards are very tender and delicious. The food is well seasoned, although the fries could have been seasoned in my opinion. I will definitely come back again. read more

Absolutely disgusting, there is no professional staff, I seen dead roaches and crickets in the back this place needs to be cleaned I can not stress this enough read more

Hire some more professional staff, three teen girls running your drive thru joking around and acting like they have a party just staring at customers. I could literally hear them screaming through the window like wild hyenas. I didn't get my card back untill I was starting at the girl who purposely stood in front of the window as the other one physically grabbed her and moved her. Something is fishy in there read more

I was not particularly impressed. I chicken tenders were large but not well-seasoned. The fries were soft and lukewarm--not fried crispy. The baked beans were decent and the green beans appeared to be just poured out of a cane with no seasoning. The food would be much, much better with appropriate seasoning. read more

I wouldn't have given it a star but it's no choice. I've given them 3 strikes and your out. I had placed an order for 100 pieces and they forgot. I was an hour LATE to the function bc of them. There employees are the RUDEST I've ever dealt with . Manager refused to let me talk with the owner. The employees were goofing around and verbally bashing the owner and manager blaming them behind their backs. I know it's hard to get employees nowadays but you're scraping the bottom of the barrel. I won't be back. read more

The food is great! But it is definitely not worth almost a 45 minute wait in the drive through. The lady taking our order wasn't very pleasant. As soon as we pull up to the window to pay and get our food, the same lady who took our order looked out the window and left. Also, she rang me up for a drink that they were out of. I love the food but it is way to long of a wait. read more

My family and I prefer Big Chic to KFC! We love the taste of the chicken and mashed potatoes. We usually order 18 piece fried chicken for our family of soon to be 9. We eat there perhaps 2 or 3 times a month. It's very close to home and extremely convenient. We have never dined in. We usually order ahead of time. read more

Never have I ever been to a more unprofessional establishment. Most of the time the orders are wrong, the girls are hateful with zero customer service skills, never will big chic get another dime from me. It's too bad too because the chicken is good the service beyond horrible. read more

Two or three were already waiting on their orders, placed my order 2 full orders of livers, 2 onion rings 1/2 order gizzards togo at 11:38am, 4 or 5 others placed and received their orders. I ask about my order at 12:00p.m. they said that the computer did not send MY order to the back so it didn't make it to the cooks... At 12:15p.m. I got my order. 40 minutes to get what I ordered is not right...But here is what is sticking in my craw, about a month ago the exact same thing happened at the exact same place, for the exact same order. Up till today I have never said a bad word about them...but the service is about as bad as it could possibly be this side of spitting on your food. So DO NOT GO THERE THEY SUCK THE BIG CHIK IN Griffin on Hwy. 16 in front of Kroger and Lowes. read more

Horrible. The service at the counter is pathetic. It's an arrogant family that serves fried chicken. They think they have a Morton's or Ruth's Chris. The food prices are high. The cuts of chicken look Chinese and contain lots of other chicken matter. I paid in cash and gave them a $20. They gave me incorrect change, then argued about it. I had the immediate feeling that my meal would be messed with. Avoid this place. read more

The gizzards were really good. The macaroni was a bit plain and the mild wings I got were ok. Not the best I've had.

ROACHES!!! They have a bug problem. It's unfortunate because the food is really good. The food is always hot, fresh, and well prepared, but I can no longer eat here. I saw 2 roaches in their bathroom, one dead and one alive crawling on the wall. read more

Heard good things about this place so when they opened the new location in Krogers lot we checked them out. The chicken was extremely greasy! So much so, their was a pool at the bottom of my tray. BEWARE - Do NOT use your debit card to purchase food at this location. I have been charged three times for the same amount for one order placed August 18, 2018. Called restaurant and was told I would have to show them my online bank statement showing the erroneous charges in order to get credit. We were passing thru on I-75 on way home (approx 40 miles south of restaurant). Manager did not care of having to put the customer out rather than researching the error himself. Guess we will be making a trip back north to Forsyth GA just to get their error corrected! Two charges hit my checking acct the same day. The third charge hit on a different day. Will certainly not be returning to get food at this restaurant in the future. read more
