I walked in and begin to put my clothes in the washer when the worker asked me was everything okay. I told him yes everything was okay he then asked if I needed help I told him I'm okay but I will need $20 in change once I finish loading the washer. He then stated that he thought I didn't speak English... I found that comment weird and kind of prejudice because how do you think someone doesn't speak English just by looking at them. The weird part about it was he barely spoke English and had a very thick accent and spoke broken English. read more

My building doesn't have a laundry room, so this was my first time using the public laundromat. After loading the clothes into what I thought was a washer (it turned out to be a dryer), I called the assistant - a woman who keeps walking around and whistling and gives out change - and asked her if I had done the load correctly. Not sure if her English is deficient, but I spoke clearly. She assured me that everything looked okay and went on whistling. When I returned after a set time, I realized that the clothes were dry. I told her that she gave me the wrong information, when I specifically asked if this was a washer. She became extremely rude, refused to refund the money I paid for the load, and started blaming me. Fine, I still needed to finish doing the laundry and went to the correct washer, loaded it, and asked her again (!) if everything looked right. She again confirmed and continued whistling. Then it turned out that the load was set to "Cold," which wasn't what I needed, and she started yelling that I couldn't change the setting. I asked to see the manager. When he showed up, he turned out to be even more rude and dumber than his assistant. He started calling me names after I explained what happened, threatened that I'd have to pay for the machine (the first washer I used) in case it broke. I took my stuff and went to Dominic's Laundry two blocks down - excellent service, very nice people, and cheaper too. As for the Big Bundle Laundromat, avoid this shithole at all cost, and its 2 morons who work and whistle there. Horrible experience. read more

They have the best prices around and the staff is super friendly. It's well kept and very clean. I sometimes do the laundry service which is convenient. Having grown up working in my dad's family run restaurant, I can appreciate the hard work and long hours it takes to keep a family business running. It's great to see how father and son work together here. read more

This place is nice. They have a bunch of old washers and dryers but they are very well maintained and still function wonderfully. I'm a disappointed that they only have the double-quadruple laundry machines. I stopped going here for that reason. Sometimes I only need a single machine to wash my delicates. And its really too bad because they have these AWESOME single washers with the tumble cage. but they're always broken. That and they're farther away from my house than the other place. Also the machines smell like mildew off and on. That really bugs me. The pros: they're cheaper, the staff is extra nice and speak English to you first then will politely ask if you speak Spanish or Portuguese. There's an adorable sweet out door kitty named Julio Iglesias. He's loves me and i love him, but he doesn't love everyone. Julio's daddy is super great, very helpful, and I'm sorry i don't know his name. There's also this awesome little bodega next door so you can get funyuns and a Hawaiian punch while you're waiting for laundry. AND the laundromat recycles cans... so ya go green :P read more

I just moved to the area, and have been to Big Bundle twice since I moved. I like them for a number of reasons: First, true to their name, they have several different sizes of washer, up to the fits-a-quilt-and-three-blankets size. Second, the prices are (to my mind) really reasonable. Sure, the largest washer is $5 a load, but I could practically fit myself into that washer. Smaller washers are less. If you prefer to have them do your laundry for you, it's 75 cents a pound for wash-dry-fold. They're happy to accommodate special requests like using scent-free laundry soap, etc. They know their regulars by name and by sight. Third, the people working there are super nice. The woman working there the first time I was in and greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in the door and cheerfully welcomed me to the neighborhood when I said I'd just moved in. Tonight I was there for the second time, wearing a knee brace because I tweaked the knee a few days ago. When I was done folding, the fellow who was working there insisted on carrying out and loading in my three tubs of laundry to my car for me so I wouldn't re-strain my knee. So sweet! Fourth, it's clean-swept and pleasant. It's a laundromat, not a five-star hotel, but it's a nice and tidy environment to clean and fold clothes. Fifth, and this is just a random bonus, there's a fluffy gray store cat named Julio who wanders in and out at will. The sight of him brightens up an otherwise boring chore. :) read more

I am very disappointed in the way I was just treated.. I have been using Big Bundle Laundry service for my new hair salon.. We didn't have a set schedule for pick ups because it always varied with the amount of towels each day that were used.. John had made a few comments on getting a set schedule but it just didn't work for us.. I didn't think it was a big deal.. Well we got our towels back last week and I noticed one of our new capes had numerous holes in it.. I didn't call I thought I would just wait til he did a pick up today.. Well when I confronted him about it he got mad and said they weren't responsible for it.. I said well this is a new cape and I can't have this happen, there $25 each..He reached into his pocket said well here's $20 and after this pick up I am done.. I said why because of the cape he said no because of all the aggravation.. Aggravation I asked? He said actually I am done and I am not doing this load of laundry and walked out.. That's customer service?? I am a little confused. So now I am running a business and have to figure out last minute how to find someone to clean my towels.. John you are so unprofessional good luck I will get the word around not to go to BIG BUNDLE.... read more
