We would hire them again. From beginning to end they were professional, efficient and reliable. Sales pitch was accurate and done with tech that provided precise sq footage. The installation crews were experienced and hard working. They didn't waste any time removing our old turf , preparing the entire site and installing the new turf. The next day they removed our old flagstone patio replacing it with pavers. It's better than ever before. Both turf and pavers are the BEST. read more

Big Bully Review We are pleased with the turf; it seems to be a high-quality product. However, I must express my dissatisfaction with the communication and the lack of follow-up after the project was completed. As a business owner in real estate, building strong relationships and maintaining good communication are vital to my success. While the job was done and completed on time, the lack of communication during the process was concerning. We often found workers sitting around on their phones for extended periods, and it wasn't until we took the initiative and called Big Bully and inquired that we understood the situation. Alex, one of the project managers (not a sales rep), was fantastic. He took the time to review our project, made custom adjustments to meet our needs, and provided a clear explanation of the process after my initial call to address our confusion. We give Alex a well-deserved 5 stars -Thanks Alex! When the project wrapped up, there was no farewell or even an offer for a final walkthrough to ensure everything met our expectations from our sales rep or the company. It's disappointing to think that after spending thousands, we received no follow-up for feedback or acknowledgment. Instead, it feels like they moved on to the next project immediately. Interestingly, the final bill arrived promptly. Overall, while the product is great, most of the service experience fell flat...and is is why we gave them a 3 = just OK. The problem with OK, is it gets the job done, but only "great" gets 5 stars! And great comes from the relational treatment - how we are left feeling about the experience. Great lawn, meh service, (except for Alex who was great)! read more

I couldn't be happier with the superb job this outstanding company just did renovating my cozy backyard! From start to finish the whole process was smooth and well organized, starting with my fantastic salesman Douglas. When Douglas first came over for my free estimate, I originally just intended on getting the quote and possibly getting my yard done sometime next year, but his presentation was so terrific as he explained what the company could do for my plain desert landscaping, the steps, the time frame and the reasonable price, I was sold and signed up on day one. Douglas drew up an initial 3D sketch for me and worked with me as I had a few changes that he made sure the company accommodated. He's a true professional and was accessible day and night. Michael the project manager came out the day of and introduced himself, took a walk around and directed the crew led by Pepe who is another superstar! Michael then came back after the job was complete and made sure that everything was good. It was! Not only did Pepe's crew fix my back yard up better than I had even expected, but they went above and beyond and cleaned up the driveway in the front on their way out. It was spotless. All workers impressively showed up both days at 7:00 a.m. on the dot and they worked until sundown and got the job done expertly and expeditiously. I highly recommend this company! read more

Extremely disappointed with BBT's customer service. When I reached out they refused to give any sort of estimate without sending someone to my house - this should've been enough of a red flag. I discussed getting a quote and was VERY clear multiple times about my budget and not wanting to waste anyone's time. I gave specific measurements, paver type, turf type, etc --- and they assured me they were in the $4.25/sf price range installed for my project. I arranged my entire day around their visit to confirm and imagine my surprise when they quoted me $18/sf!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and a complete waste of everyone's time. Go with someone else who will respect their customers more than making a sale. read more

We were privileged to work with Matt during the quote, design, and booking process and Randy and Manuel for the installation of our turf project. Being first time homeowners, this was a huge project that we were excited to take on but were nervous about making the right decision. Overall, we couldn't have been more thrilled with the outcome from quoting, scheduling, all the way to installation. The team that came for install was efficient and great at what they do, and I would be thrilled to have them back at our home for any other project. Time to start thinking about my front yard!!!! read more

Worked with Rich Tausinga of Big Bully Turf to repair/replace a turf job I had previously done thru another company. I was dealing with lower quality turf that had unfortunately burned from the intensity of the sun reflecting off my living room/2nd story bed room windows. Rich came in and assessed the issue, gave me some advice/feedback with the different types of turf Big Bully provides and offered the window treatment as a solution to protect my turf from getting burned in the future. His approach was perfect, not the car salesman pitch at all. Simply put he was highly knowledgeable and professional. I couldn't be more pleased with the final product, the crew came and worked very efficiently, finishing the job within 8hrs. The quality of work done was well worth the price. I will be recommending Big Bully to family and friends that have Turf/landscaping needs! Thank you! read more

We decided to redo our backyard with Big Bully Turf after a botched makeover with another company. Rich came out and met with us, looked around the yard, and those wheels in his head started turning! He said, this yard needs color! It's too brown! And he was right. We received excellent customer service, when I reached out because I didn't like a component of the design, Rich came out and had it changed and fixed immediately. He even designed and put in a Bocce ball court for us! We had the neighbors over to see the finished yard and they were amazed. We love the look and feel of our new backyard! I will be calling Rich back to do some more work soon! I highly recommend this business. read more

Came and addressed the irrigation. Personal responded quickly. Replied to questions and concerns.

Rich from Big Bully Turf was great! He had samples of their turf for me to check out. Other companies didn't! There were also so many more options for pavers. He also had the information into the water district within hours! I can't wait to see the final results, and to see how much lower my water bill is! read more

Last Spring I had my front grass converted to turf and the finished project was/is gorgeous. Yesterday I had the grass removed in my backyard and I got the same result. I'm loving my front and back yards now and no longer have to deal with disappointing landscapers and high water bill. The folks at Big Bully Turf are courteous, professional, and leave the properly looking spotless. The did everything they said they would timely and without issue. I would highly recommend Big Bully Turf if you are looking to convert to turf in your yard. read more

I am very impressed by Big Bully Turf. From the very start, they had great communication. I liked the daily messages letting me know more about the company (I had no idea they are woman owned) and what to expect up to install day. The initial meeting was pleasant, no pressure and simple. Day of install, they made suggestions (which I took) to get the best results and look I was going for. Our yard went from rock quarry and weeds to an oasis that we can finally enjoy! Also, can't beat the 25 year warranty! Thank you Big Bully Turf! read more

Rich was my consultant and was clearly on the same page as how I wanted my backyard designed specifically for my dogs. He demonstrated the drainage of the turf, which is why I chose Bully Turf. I already had one estimate, and Bully Turf was my second estimate being a little bit higher but well worth it after Rich demonstrated the drainage, so I canceled my third estimate and chose big Bully Turf. The installers did a beautiful job and I'm very happy as well as my dogs are with our new backyard. Thank you so much, Lema Lynch read more

I paid almost $4000 for a tiny bit of turf. Looked great at first, but I can't get the leaves off. The small stuff sticks like glue. I called Big Bully to find out the best way to keep it nice, but "customer service" was only interested in selling me more turf. She said she couldnt answer my simple question, that I had to email the warranties department. Of course, warranties didn't respond to my email. Stay away. Once the turf is in, you are no longer a customer unless you buy more. read more

The entire team did an excellent job on my home. Rich made it super easy to work with and developed a great plan for a big transformation on my backyard. The first meeting with Rich went well. He was knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation of the process, the turf, and what to expect. He offered to meet with me and go through the different options, which we did the next day. The work was scheduled that same day with no surprises. The day of the install, the employees showed up on time and ready to complete the job. One of the employees followed up the next morning to check the install. Rich also responded following the completion for follow up questions and was available for contact. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Matt and his team on our backyard from start to finish and everything exceeded our expectations. When Matt first came to our house for the initial meeting, he spent so much time listening to our ideas and what we wanted to accomplish, walked our backyard to help us space plan, got to know us, etc. We did not feel rushed in the meeting at all, he stayed as long as he needed to help us plan everything out. The day of the work they got there at 6:30 am and were finished by 4pm. It was amazing how fast and how well they worked. The quality of their work and the customer service we experienced with Matt was well worth the money. I would recommend Big Bully Turf and Matt to anyone looking to finish their backyard. read more

We had BBT out to give us an estimate on our back yard today. Although the technician was 2 hrs early ( I'm glad we were home) he was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly with no mind paid to our torn apart,in the middle of being remodeled home ... lol We have a Pit bull and Malinios who have destroyed the 30 year old Astro turf that's out there now and the rock in the rest of the yard is hit and rips their pads up. BBT is MADE IN THE USA, they have beautiful options for different designs and desired results. The natural grass 100% looks and feels real! It's 2" and lays just at the " almost time to be mowed" length... perfect! They also provide an underlying pet deodorant layer 100% recommend! We definitely plan on connecting with them ASAP to do this part of our yard makeover! Thanks guys! read more

As soon as we had our consultation with Matthew Goodman I knew I wanted to use Big Bully for our backyard project. He had a lot of great ideas for design and helped us keep to our budget. As first time homeowners this was one of our biggest projects that neither of us had any experience with and the quoting and preparation for it went great. Randy and Manuel were overseeing the installation and the team worked so quickly and efficiently. I barely knew they were there. After it was done they did such a thorough job cleaning up. Completely regret our decision going with Big Bully. We received 3 turf estimates & ultimately decided to go with them even though they were the most expensive. Mainly for thickness & warranty of turf. Our sales person gave us a quote for what we understood to be the entire yard yet they only completed half for the price we were given. WE were clear in what we wanted and stated after our pool install we didn't want to fix the irrigation in the back or mow, we wanted turf throughout & stone on the back wall. The cost went down after adding more concrete to our deck= less turf during a second visit we had, but it seemed like at this point he just deleted half our yard to lower the cost. We never received a layout, or even a contract. When it was install day they only completed half of the yard. Once we tried to partner with the sales person, no response then he denied it, never took ownership, & said we needed to pay more to finish the job. He argued with me through text that he did what my other half wanted & never would answer the phone. I called Big Bully 3 days in a row & all they do is take a message to "pass along." Never a call back. I finally managed to get the number of the sales mgr that was also onsite for our quote. No accountability only let me see what kind of deal we can get you for the other side of the yard. We have this on video. All of the conversations of us discussing what we wanted & both sales ppl measuring the entire yard. What about the mess up of the original sales person??And does no one else exist in this company to take care of customer concerns with the sales team?? We move forward & fix sod in front yard since the Bully team said they could work around this when they come back out to complete the other half, however when the second half of the yard is completed our sod is ruined. They also chipped a 2x4 in our gate. They also never made anything right & wouldn't move forward without more money. The lack of communication within the whole company is horrible. If they don't know the answer they won't respond. They won't take your calls & will take days to come to a conclusion for you. There is apparently no one over the sales team. They basically swindled us in to a deal & I will forever regret not going with a different company. Our sales person Thomas was brand new and had his boss Brandon with him during the quote. This was clearly a mess up from Thomas & someone should've taken ownership of the mistake. They are clearly trained as to what to say & not say to not take accountability & ownership of mistakes as to just raise the bill for the customer. We received a quote for our entire backyard, and only half was complete. That is on Big Bully, & Thomas for quoting us too low. Own your mistake. You should've finished the job as intended, you should've provided me a contract and a design to approve. Whole experience was an absolute nightmare! read more

A consultation had been previously scheduled with this company for 07-07-2025, at 2:00 p.m. No one from the company showed. I'd been thinking of doing turf for a while, and so glad I finally did! Seemed like a small job, but it's made all the difference. Everything turned out better than I could have imagined. I did turf in the dogs play/potty area to replace rubber mulch, and they love it. I can barely get them to come in now they're so happy out there. To meet a minimum, I added some pavers to the side where garbage cans are kept... they did a great job! I couldn't believe the detailed cuts around pipes etc, I was not expecting that. I caught a Black Friday deal, so I got a decent price. Still had to meet the minimum... personally think this should be a little lower for Vegas, most of the yards r so small. But I'm SO HAPPY with the work, totally worth it. read more
