There is no customer service here. Let's get that out of the way first. Every time I have called to order anything, it's been an ordeal. I was just asked what kind of dressing I wanted with my Caesar salad. When I said Caesar, the voice on the other side of the phone raised at me like I was not answering their question. Finally, I was able to explain that Caesar is a type of dressing. No apology for miscommunication. Just an "ok" and silence. I asked to pay by card and they rushed through the call and don't even take my card number. Fine. I gave up out of frustration and cancelled my order. Now, they have great wings here...and that's why I have continued to order from here to date. However, they have forgotten items in my order multiple times in the past and today I just gave up on this business' service. I am done. We shall see if their wings save them from sinking. I waited an hour for cold food. This used to be my go to spot because they have something for everyone on their menu but recently their quality of food has been declining, the service delivery time has been increasing and it was a complete dissapointment today. A salad and gyro should not take over an hour to make and deliver AND if it is going to take that long, the gyro should be warm and the salad crisp. If you are looking for an OK pizza place that isn't one of the chains try them out. They are unique in Annandale because they are the only place that delivers that offers something different besides the usual pizza, italian, and subs. Mind you they do sell these items yet their menu is enhanced by offering a nice mix of Tex-Mex foods. A good lazy man's choice. I should have reviewed Big Bite years ago. We've been ordering from them since 2002, before they had online ordering. I've ordered everything on their menu and they have a very large menu. And if you look at that menu and expect to get health food then you're an idiot and stop reading. Before I tell you all the things we usually order and it sounds like a lot you should know that Big Bite delivers till 3am on the weekends and is great to order after a Redskins game. I don't order pizzas from Big Bite but my wife sometimes orders 2 slices as an appetizer (sorry for selling you out). Without fail I always get the Chicken Tenders and then either get Jalapeño Poppers or Mozzarella Sticks. When I can't decide on a hot sub I get 2 because they keep well and can be reheated in the oven. Philly Steak & Cheese, Grilled Heavenly Chicken or the Turkey Club which comes cold and I usually keep for the next day and heat in the oven. The wife likes the Blackened Chicken Sandwich or she gets wings. They have really good hot wings. Everything else on the menu is great as well. The sub bread is legit and all subs come with a bag of UTZ potato chips and pickle. Delivery is fast and like I said they're open late. read more

Their hot wings are absolutely delicious -- some of the best I've had since moving to DC. Crispy on the outside, tender, moist and meaty on the inside. They're the right blend of tangy and spicy and tomato-y, with a hint of sweetness. They're well-tossed, so the wings are nicely coated and there's extra sauce at the bottom of the container, for the benefit of those of us who like to slather them on everything. I've yet to try the pizza, but if they're anywhere near as good as the wings, I'm sure I'd love it. read more

Man I'm disappointed. I waited almost 1 hr for a medium pizza with half burger meat, half cheese. Also an order of 8 hot wings. The pizza was burned and the burger meat was gyro meat. The wings were fried so hard I couldn't chew the drumsticks. And the meat underneath was so bruised. The sauce was delicious and so was the ranch. But dang, everything was overcooked. I guess I could have called and complained but I have a feeling it won't change. Ugh. I will be ordering from Paisano's again. So much for trying a new place. I have ordered from Big Bite for a long time and Much like wine they get better with age. My favorite thing to order is the cheese fries. The queso cheese on the french fries it's amazing it's like liquid gold you can eat that taste even better than what it would be worth. If you add bacon and sour cream to the mix, it's like heaven on a plate. I'm not sure what kind of buns they use for the burger but it works really well. The burger is cooked to perfection and the bun is lightly toasted to where it is perfect. Their pizza can rival bigger chains. You can tell I'm like other places that say they use fresh ingredients big bite really does. I will definitely be ordering again from them and I highly recommend that you do too. read more

Tried their pizza for the first time last week. The pizza taste great, not sweet like most pizza places and it was faster than my favorite pizza place. Their ceasar salad was good but the dressing was somewhat sweet, but the salad itself was great with lots of grated parmesan cheese on it. Will definitely be ordering from them again. read more

Before I write anything about this place I want to make note that the only thing I order from here is the steak and mushroom meal combo. One this to also consider is this isn't a buy and sit kind of place. It's more like a carryout pizza hut. There is a small table in the front which you can sit on to wait and eat if you please but I always eat at home. Anyways I go to this place every week and I always order the steak and mushroom meal combo which includes french fries and a can of soda. The price for this combo used to be $9.00 but they recently changed it to about $9.53. Anyways I consider that to still be a really good price for the amount of food you are getting and this doesn't even take into consideration the taste. Now I've been to a few places around Annandale to find a good tasting steak and cheese that stands on top and for a good price. I honestly believe this is the place to go to. I always get the mushroom steak and cheese because I absolutely love mushrooms also if you don't want something on your sandwich they can remove it for you. The way the meat and cheese and all the rest of the ingredients seem to melt in your mouth is absolutely amazing. I always look forward to buying it every week. A few tips to consider, I always order over the phone and takes about 15 minutes for your food to be prepared and I always pick it up, I've never bothered with delivery. Next they open at 11am I don't recommend ordering as soon as they open as sometimes the cooks aren't there and your food might not come out as good as one of the cooks there would do it (I'm usually always ordering after 3 o'clock or late at night). I don't recommend getting the "Philly steak and cheese" I don't like the yellow cheese they use. The "Steak and Cheese" and "Steak and Mushroom" both use provolone which tastes a lot better in my opinion. Honestly if you love steak and cheeses or cheese steaks I recommend this place hands down. They have a lot of other things on their menu from tacos, to pasta, and pizza. I haven't bothered with any of it. read more

My neighbors keep ordering delivery from this place, so I figured I'd see what the big deal is. I didn't get the pizza despite the name of the place. However, I did get a cheesesteak and 20 wings. The cheesesteak wasn't bad. The highlight was definitely the wings. They are better than all of the wing places in the area and definitely a thousand times better than the crap at Pizza Hut. The wings are big and meaty. Usually, I'm a ranch person, but the blue cheese that comes with it is very good. Do yourself a favor and get a bunch of wings when you watch football on Sunday. I was in the mood for a Gyro, and my roommate in the mood for mexican. We remembered seeing a menu for big bite in the mail and it had both selections. We decided to place an order, however the online system was down. So I tried to call. The woman who answered the call was incredibly rude and said I can only use my Visa online. When I explained to her the system was down, she said "No it's not." and hung up the phone. I told my roommate she will have to pick something from Casa de Mama. It is better and much cheaper. This place has a huge menu. The food has gotten better as time has gone along - generally it's pretty average to not that great - they've changed their burritos apparently - my husband said it was pretty good - I didn't taste it on our last purchase from them. I'd never tried the wings until recently - they are the BOMB! The absolute best wings I've ever had - if you get nothing else from them get the wings! They are crunchy and I like the spice on the spicy ones - not too hot but just right with the spice. The dipping sauce seems to be a cross between ranch and blue cheese which sounds bad but is very tasty on the wings. This is my all time, number 1, favorite place to get wings. They are super saucy while still being crispy. When they say extra hot, they don't use that term lightly. It comes in this wax paper reinforced Styrofoam box. Don't tip that in the car because it will be like spilling pepper spray, causing the driver to swerve and crash and die...worth the risk. The price is a bit more than I would like, but I still get it anyway (though usually for pick up). You almost feel guilty throwing away the extra sauce when you are done. If you're not afraid of a little self loathing (and I am not), then you can always buy an extra sub so you can dip a steak and cheese into that buffalo goodness. read more

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with this place. I ordered the supposedly amazing hot wings and they were just OK- meatier than most delivery wings, but the sauce was just average. I also got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and wasn't impressed there either. The sub was dry (even with extra cheese) and the fries were soggy. They are generous with them though, so they're worth the extra $2. I'll pop 'em in the toaster oven when I eat the leftovers and they'll be fine. Probably won't order here again though. The pizza is great, as good if not better than any other delivery around but the wings, the WINGS are AMAZING! The kickin' bourbon flavor is sooooo good and the blue cheese dressing is the best ever.
