What is odd was we had received a phone call from Shred It right before we set off to confirm. There is a huge issue between this Springfield MO Shred it location and the Shred It Corporate Office. There is no way for customers to call the local Shred It office to determine if they are open during the times they state they accept drop off shredding. Do not recommend this business for your shredding needs. It is very disappointing because we had to pay online in advance, too.

This place provides a really good service to the community; I wish that more people knew about it…read moreand took advantage of it. Basically it's a place to dispose of old electronics and whatnot - some things they will take for free, and others you pay a nominal charge. This is a great service because there are many things that should NOT go into the regular trash, including BATTERIES and many types of electronic devices. I brought an old microwave there and a bunch of dead batteries to dispose of them. The man working there was very nice and even pulled the microwave out of the car for me (I was pretty pregnant at the time). I'd definitely recommend that everyone in town bring their old/broken electronics and dead batteries there!!
