Fast, friendly and great value! I recommend them for your smart lock systems and any other lock services.

Responsive, efficient and thorough. Highly recommend. For some reason, I have to put more words into my review or they won't accept it, so here are more words to meet the minimum, despite the initial sentence being concise and on point. read more

They are amazing, I have used them over 4 times, twice for losing my keys to my home and twice to make me keys for my motorcycle after they were lost. Each time they were there within 15 minutes and they go above and beyond what they are supposed to do. The owner Ryan is great and I have dealt with Francisco as well and he is great. Very professional and courteous service! I highly recommend! read more

We had to evict our tenant. The unlawful detainer did not turn in the key as he promised to. Because of that, we had to call Big Bear Lock and Key multiple times to change the appointment time. They were so nice. On the day when we drove to Big Bear from LA, we were there about 1 hours earlier and they told us to call as soon as we got there. So we did. And they came in 1 hour earlier than our appointment time and rekeyed our 4 locks. Very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! read more

I need key and lock help sometimes and although there isn't much competition up here on the mountain, I learned a valuable lesson. My licks were not working well snd they suggested "re-pinning" the locks. I brought the locks to them and after they did their trick, the locks now open smoothly. Thank you!! read more

I had multiple employees the day I hired Chris. Not only was he responsive over the phone but they arrive fast to your location. In addition they are priced awesome and up for changes. I ended up not having another company change the locks due to their competitive rates and fast work! A+ When they arrived, i had a issue with a renter and needed access to an empty unit. He opened the door in under 5 minutes. Even though I didn't hire him to change the door knob, I asked if they change knobs as well? He said yes, changed his schedule on the spot, and had no problem getting straight to work. Super fast and great work. I would hire them again and again. Ask for Chris he's a great worker! read more

BBLK (I guess that's an acronym they use...) came to my place and picked a padlock to my shed that we had lost the key to. I had worked on picking it for about an hour before calling them. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and had the shed door open in about 5 minutes. WELL worth the cost. If you have any lock-based needs, I'd give these guys a call first. read more

Dishonest Business Practices and Incompetent! Unable to open truck bed cover due to being stuck in the locked position. Tech arrives and was unable to open bed cover after approximately 5 mins. I was able to get the bed cover to unlock in less than a minute. Tech was unable to repair lock due to not having the parts. Tech was onsite at friends home for less than 10 mins., and before leaving advised me he "was not charging me for his services" and drove away. Approximately 10 mins. after leaving the tech calls me back to advise me he's now charging me $95. I at first refuse to pay. Tech's manager then calls me and demands to be paid, threatening to block future service to the residence I was staying at. Due to his threat and being the only lock & key shop in the area I paid! DISHONESTY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Technicians being dispatched to make repairs to broken locks and not having the proper parts to do so is "INCOMPETENTCY!" I would never recommend Big Bear Lock and Key to anybody! read more
