Before our visit, I had read about the option to build your own custom LEGO figurine, and I was "Heck Yes!" I made an online reservation a few months before my visit to Orlando, since spots are limited. When we arrived, there was a loooong line to get into the store (they limit capacity to avoid overcrowding), but having a reservation was a huge plus. I showed it to the Greeter, and we were able to bypass the line and headed right in to start creating our LEGO Avatars. The process is such a fun experience! You begin by designing your figure's body digitally--choosing outfits for the front and back, naming your character, and sending it off to be printed. That part takes about 10 minutes or less. Once your custom body is ready, you move on to picking out the head, hair, and accessories. Honestly, that might be the hardest (and most fun) part--so many choices! I ended up making three--one for me, my son (Dr. A), and my daughter-in-law (Dr. J). My husband created his own and got pretty creative with it. Walk-ins are allowed, but you may have to wait a bit for an opening. We did some shopping and as a bonus LEGO gave each customer a cute seasonal Easter chick with their purchase. Overall, this is a fantastic experience for all ages and definitely worth adding to your Disney Springs itinerary.

It's constantly changing and evolving, which makes each visit feel fresh and different from the last. If you're a LEGO fan, this place is easy to love. There are areas where you can build, options to create custom LEGO figures, plenty of impressive pre-built displays, and--most notably--they've been adding more giant LEGO sculptures inside, which I think is the real main draw. These large-scale builds are incredibly detailed and genuinely impressive. Outside the store, there are additional LEGO figures as well. You can actually tell which ones are within arm's reach because the colors on the bricks are starting to wear down from people touching them--kind of a cool, unintentional reminder of how interactive and popular the displays are. One thing to know before you go: there's almost always a line. Expect about a 5-10 minute wait. It may look intimidating from the outside, but the line moves quickly and is well-managed. On this visit, I was especially impressed by the Spider-Man display with the camera caught in the web--it was so realistic it actually fooled my friend into thinking the camera was real. Moments like that are why this store never feels stale. Overall, whether you're a casual visitor or a serious LEGO enthusiast, this LEGO Store is absolutely worth the short wait and remains one of the most consistently fun stops at Disney Springs.

The shop is decorated in an amazing nautical themed décor that is similar to the restaurant location of the BOATHOUSE which is located directly next to the Boatique. There are a lot of boating themed gifts for purchase such as items that include shirts and hats as well as decorative items and model boats! One of my favorite things about The Boatique is that it's also one of the places you can check in or reserve an Amphicar tour. The Amphicars, vintage car boats, take people on boat rides using their own vehicles. When they come back to shore from their ride, it really helps create a fun atmosphere for guests! Whether you're taking an Amphicar ride or not, I think it would be well worth stopping by. The Boatique has a unique and different style of shop compared to all the other stores at Disney Springs. It feels as though the store is part of your overall boating experience! A must visit while you're in Disney Springs!

Ziwani Traders is tucked away by the Safari Treks, but it is by no means small! With a full bakery case and multiple rooms full of merch, Ziwani Traders is a gift shop walking through... always. Animal Kingdom has the two HUGE gift shops at either side of the entrance by the Tree of Life, but... they are always crowded and sometimes not used for the newest drops. Ziwani Traders has the latest park Loungefly backpacks, themed tshirts to the safaris, and tons of African themed merch! The prices are Disney prices, so the value is really in the space and peace that surrounds this hidden gem. Even for a smaller size, the store has five checkouts and plenty of cast members available for questions and to keep the shop clean and organized.

You get the expected quality Disney service at this location with the employees being very helpful and friendly. It's cool the way it's set up kind of like an old trader station in Africa. Always worth stopping in the stores at Disney as you never know what you might find. The only thing that's not surprising is the cost of anything you want to buy because everyone knows Disney is an expensive place to visit.
