I popped in here to see if they might have a cute dress for my daughter's upcoming birthday in April. While visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando Florida, Beverly Sunset Boutique ended up…read morebeing one of those unexpected stops during my runDisney Springtime Surprise weekend! It was a fun little break from the crowds. After an early race morning and a day spent exploring Hollywood Studios, it was nice to go into the air conditioning and browse for a bit. The shop has a mix of Disney merchandise, collectibles, apparel, and souvenirs, but what I enjoyed most was simply taking my time looking around. During race weekends, the parks can feel nonstop from rope drop to fireworks, so finding a place to slow down for a few minutes was appreciated! The location for this store is right at the end of Sunset Boulevard. Between Tower of Terror looming in the background and all the energy from the attractions nearby, it feels like you're right in the middle of the action while still getting a chance to escape it for a few minutes! I also noticed quite a few runDisney participants stopping in throughout the day! Many of the racers were still wearing race shirts or medals from race earlier in the day! It was so much fun talking with some of the runners and sharing stories about the race while browsing for souvenirs and gifts! Unfortunately, life is full of bills, so I can't go as hard as I would like to. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful if you ever need anything. I love the variety of different shoes that they carry from flats to heels to sneakers to sandals literally just about everything. The only thing I have to say is that a lot of the clothes they carry are made of polyester which I do not want to purchase especially if I'm paying $40 for a shirt. I understand that may not seem like a lot but when I can get a good quality shirt on a clearance rack at Burlington for about five bucks $40 seems like quite the ripoff. The only thing I can say is that sometimes they do have decent things on clearance, but you really do have to dig. I have found that they also have a lot of similar things to Ross and Burlington clothes wise, which is why I really only prefer to look at the shoes when I go to Nordstrom rack. I like that they also have makeup and perfume there so that it is more of a one stop shop. They even have some toys and tons of kids shoes and clothes too. I will definitely be back, but I don't know for sure if I will be back to this location as it is a little bit far from my house.

Everything is laid out so that you don't feel lost or overwhelmed. The clothes are simple, stylish, and actually really good quality for the price. Everything my kids tried on felt comfortable and wearable for everyday outfits. The staff were friendly and the whole experience was just easy and smooth. Self check out was so easy; just place all your items in the bin and it automatically scans everything.

They had some cool designs, and in fact your a design your own shirt at this little t-shirt printing station they have at one end of the store. I'd almost got one but I decided that since my daughter wasn't terribly familiar with lots of characters, we'd wait until another visit when she could have more input on who we wanted on ours. Checkout was an experience I haven't had before. You put your stuff in the bin or whatever and it calculates the total. Very quick; I wish this was the system at the self-checkout in my grocery store.
