I saw that they needed volunteers, so I started volunteering there about a year and a half ago-it's a great way to meet people, and to help their mission to support the welfare of companion animals in Lincoln County (more details can be found on their Facebook page). It's a great place to shop and to volunteer!

Well. I'm currently sobbing and absolutely disgusted over the fact that every employee LIED to me…read moreover the fact that they had better priced carts in town. I am barely getting by, pregnant, physically/mentally disabled and was repeatedly lied to about their prices. I use weed for my diagnosed extreme ptsd and the employees all knew I was barely being able to afford weed. This isn't a store for all as some of the items may turn a stomach or two. Lots of antique and vintage skulls, sculptures, lots of Victorian period items, weird medical devices that were used somewhere at sometime. My mouth did drop open a time or two while browsing. I understand that they make their own candles which made the store smell delightful. Pricing is fair for most items. I did end up with a couple of prized possessions. I saw that they perform tarot readings in the back of the store for a fee. Service was friendly and helpful. If I lived here I know I would probably be a regular shopper here.

My partner and I were walking around the store with about 8 other patrons and we noticed that three different customers tried to interact with the owner (?), a man who was searching on his phone the whole time. Two ladies were trying to talk to him about the store pup, while another guy was trying to make chit-chat and both either received a few grumbles or an inaudible response. He didn't ever look up from his phone. This type of service bums us out and we decided to return our handfuls of specimens that we carefully picked out while walking through their well-stocked store.

I would give this store 0 stars if possible. The owner has the worst customer service ever! Yes,…read morethe OWNER! When we were looking around, a lady tried to come into the store with a motorized scooter. The woman got maybe 2 feet into the door when the owner starting telling the woman there was no room for her in the store and kept telling her to not break anything. She repeatedly said "my store is not made for people with scooters". We should of left then because it only got worse. Then, when my mom and I were looking at anklets, I was trying them on my moms ankle to see if they would fit. The owner asked us if we were looking for something as is we were trying to steal it in the most condescending manner. We moved on to another part of the store brushing it off. Then the owner walked past us and bent down right in front of us and looked directly at my moms ankle to see if she was wearing an anklet. The audacity! Then when we were checking out, we had two items a sign and an anklet, the owner stated "oh this anklet should work for bigger ankles like yours" to my mother. She lost definitely lost our business. We used to visit this shop every year as it is unique. We will NEVER be back! I have never been so shell shocked and appalled by ones behavior. As someone who works in customer service myself, you always want to be accommodating to a customer. Even if she had the only shop in Depoe bay, I still would not shop here. I'm truly embarrassed for anyone who knows her.
