I purchased an inexpensive ($27) pool cue package about two weeks ago and have only played 5-6 games with it. The upper portion of the cue established a rattle of some sort. Each time I hit the cue ball it was thought there was a split in the wood or something was loose, obviously a defect. I went in today to the Moses Lake store to exchange it, possibly upgrade it. I talked to the polite counter person who said they would need to call a manager to the front. While waiting I went back to see if there was another one like mine. There was not so I decided to upgrade to a significantly higher quality set, $90. I got to the counter to finish the return and new transaction only to be informed by the manager on duty they do not take returns on pool cues because they are like baseball bats, an "impact" piece of equipment, store policy. Their return policy on their website clearly states no returns on bats and to refer to the "in-store policy" which there was a link to. That policy further defined non-returnable items, nowhere mentioning pool cues. I explained that I was about to purchase something of far greater value with a higher profit margin, to which the manager said "I would get in trouble if I allow this return." I asked for the next level of management's phone number, to which he provided me their corporate customer service number. I then asked for the actual store manager's name because I want to speak with someone locally to resolve this issue, which I got but they are not in today. In the past three years I have spent about $1,000 on merchandise in this store. Seems a shame to lose a customer over an unpublished return policy and $5.00 profit when I was ready to spend far more than that. I'll let you know how it goes. read more

Prices might be good but the customer service sucks. You can be in the store for over 10 minutes and not have a single employee ask if you need help or even greet you. If your purchase requires someone to retrieve something from the back, like a pair of shoes, forget it. It's not gonna happen. read more

Blah. I've stopped in a few times, but I've only ever made one purchase--a tent at the last second on our way out of town for a camping trip when I didn't want to go to Walmart. They carry a ton of shoes--all of which seem to be seconds. They carry very few children's shoes, only a few larger men's sizes (my husband wears a size 13-14), and their women's sneaker selection leaves a lot to be desired. That said, if you CAN find something there that you like and that fits you, it'll be pretty reasonably priced. read more

Good store for general sports stuff. Shes, workout equipment, camping, etc. Good sale prices.

Nothing but cheap sporting equipment. Just a step up from Walmart. But they do have clothing that is a good buy when it is on sale. I used to buy ammo from them when it was on sale now the prices are a joke compared to what you can get online. Not a bad place to get a cheap tent for car camping. read more

Decent place to shop and would choose going here any day over the WalMart next door. I can usually get a pretty good deal on name brand shoes - their shoe sales are great. Customer service is mediocre. read more

I have shopped in this store a number of times, but don't much care for it. Last time, after standing at the cash register (with no cashier) in a line with three other customers for five minutes and watching employees walk by and then walk away, I put my purchase back and left. I haven't been back. Also, several times, the "sale" merchandise was in the back room, not on the floor. Doesn't work for me... read more

Everyone who works here seems to be professional and truly care about the customer--I love to shop here for my numerous outdoorsy needs. Plenty of sporting goods to keep my teams functioning just right. The shoes are hit or miss, not a reliable place to always find what I am looking for but for its size the store has plenty to choose from. I really enjoy their sales and promos. read more
