We inquired to be sure of which were discounted. There were two young employees working that day. One tried to help, but was clearly unsure about each thing we asked. We couldn't get the attention of the 2nd, as she was busy on her phone. They weren't unfriendly when we interacted, just complacent. The store didn't have a huge selection by any means, but things were fairly neat. We only visited the upstairs, so I've got no experience in their rentals. In the end we did walk away with new snow shoes, but I wasn't overly impressed on my first visit.

I was immediately greeted as soon as I entered, and the knowledgeable employee knew their inventory well enough to know that they didn't have what I wanted when I asked. She wisely advised that if I've worn those with favorable results, it is probably best to stick with them, and offered to order them for me. Since I needed them sooner than they'd arrive, I opted not to order them. The store is clean, well-stocked, and has a great selection. Prices are very reasonable, and are on par with all others that I've shopped. There is also plenty of parking. I'm looking forward to my next visit if I decide to try a different shoe.

You see I missed my flight this morning because of a delay and the airline had to reschedule it all, and comp me a hotel room near this shopping mall. So instead of going home today, I'm stuck next to 20 acres of retail, which thankfully includes bars. Four margaritas in, I'm wandering around again and I see him walking a couple out. Each has the exact same bag that I had, with the same blue box emblazoned with the same brand. They are praising him for his knowledge and thanking him for the $600 they just dropped. Corporate, if you're reading this, this dude is regional manager material. I wanted to slap him high five, and yell, "Bro! Hoka! F@&k yeah!!" But that seemed like it would be a lot.
