Table 1912 is back! Exterior signage has Table 1912 on the left, Gilmore's Pub on the right and…read moredouble glass entry doors to the right of that patio. Go straight and take a left through Gilmore's, to reach Table 1912. Wasn't super intuitive but you'll figure it out. Attended their pre-opening dinner, and tried, well, everything. Comfortable, friendly, attentive service (note: when you make your reservation you can request your server). A beautifully paced 4-course meal. I'm sure if you wanted to you could just order what you want and be done with it, but otherwise ordering of drinks, salad/soup course, entree and dessert is paced out, allowing for visiting, enjoyment of the restaurant, drinks, food, and your company. Our meal was about 2 hours. We started with the baked clams, bacon jam croquettes, and pork belly. Clams were my favorite but all were wonderful. The pork belly was a delightful combo of sweet and salty. For salads we got the ginger orange salad and the steak salad (they were out of the carrot bisque). The ginger orange salad was a nicely balanced sweet, bitter (from the greens), and salty (parm crisp) concoction. The steak in that salad was incredibly tender. A classic combination of flavors with olives, feta, quality Italian dressing. For entrees our table got the stuffed chicken, lamb, and the strip loin. The lamb was tender, tasty, with the right amount of gamey flavor, and the mushroom strudel was to die for. Crunchy, delicious, really incredible flavors--would be great as a stand alone appetizer option as well. Our friend enjoyed his chicken. The steak was fine, but probably would try something else next time (it was a little tough, and the garlic mashed potatoes were only ok). On to dessert. Wow! Turtle cheesecake (forgot picture) was very good, our friend loved the red velvet cake-beautiful presentation. But the star of the show was the lowly ice cream sundae. Usually just an after thought on a menu for kids or the unadventurous. But oh.my.god. A scoop of vanilla and a scoop of chocolate ice cream, both from Hansen's dairy. A house made cookie crumbled for the base, (note: everything on the menu is house made best i can tell), black cherry sauce, chocolate sauce, and marshmallow cream. Soooooo good. Enough for two for sure but don't feel bad if you don't want to share. A full bar, good beer selection, and a nice featured cocktail menu. Check this place out--you will not be disappointed.

And you should stay for dessert. I had the crème brûlée, but love the fact that there is a weekly cheesecake option, because who doesn't like cheesecake. Plenty of space for small business dinner or large group.

We checked in on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, and checked out on Saturday. The front desk attendant was very pleasant. I did not like our room placement. Our room was next to the mechanics room. Throughout the night, it made loud noises that could be heard in our room. Our room was also next to the pool, which proved to be a high traffic area with noisy children and families. Parents also allowed their children to run screaming up and down the hallway. The room itself was fine. It had a separate couch and bed area. Neither the couch nor bed were super comfortable, but they did the trick for the two days we were there. The bathroom was nice and large and had a modern feel to it. There were some stains on the carpet. The breakfast had lots of options, from waffles to eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy to fruit and cereal. They also offered milk, coffee, and fruit juices. The only downside was that the same food was offered both days. I was hoping that some of the hot food options would be different every day. Overall, this hotel served its purpose. We got a clean bed to sleep in and a hot breakfast.

The rooms are also reasonably priced considering how large they are compared to the standard hotel room, with quite a bit of room for the sofa and desk work areas. The bed was a bit firm for me and I didn't love having a lot of smaller pillows, but it was a good generous size with lots of linens. The bathroom and shower was also quite large, with plenty of space to move around. The breakfast was quite complete as well with all the juices, coffee, cereals, fruit, sausage, eggs, biscuits, potatoes, waffles, and other items that you could want to start the day. The dining room is fairly large though it also gets quite busy in the morning. Overall, this place meets the needs of any traveler and is located in a convenient spot near shopping.

I really like this place! We booked a suite and it worked out well for us. The property has been…read morethoughtfully restored, and contains a lot of souvenirs of local history. The lobby boasts an enormous period-correct mosaic tile floor in earth tones. There's quite a lot of art ranging from kitsch to bronzes in the classical vein. Our suite had four rooms: a bedroom, a living room, a dining room with a sink/cabinets, and an armoire, and a bathroom. The decor is professional in a style you might call rural Americana but without quilts. Most of the walls are painted sage green and the outlet and switch covers match. The beds were firm, probably vintage, and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom has lovely multicolor granite tiles and a vintage table for a vanity. Don't be surprised if the floor in your room tilts - this place is old! When we stayed, the pillows could have used a refresh. And I'm not sure what the housekeeping schedule is, but we stayed three nights and there was no towel/turn-down service in that time. I'm reluctantly taking a star off for these two factors. The service is friendly, professional, and responsive. When we had a question but no one could answer the phone, they saw that we had called and called us right back!
