Very grateful for this bike shop! Brought in a bike in poor condition hoping to get a tune-up, but the owner was super knowledgeable, helpful, and honest that the work needed to get it in working order exceeded the price of a used bike they had ready to go. I will definitely be back for future tune-ups and recommend this shop. read more

Everything! great service and excellent knowledgeable staff. Great bike shop. Highly recommended

I always prefer and support local bike shops but it is hard to find one. They either charge you extreme rates or simply do a bad job. Many reasons people are buying online and doing most repairs themselves. So my experience was a good one. I was provided with good advice and let to decide for a broken spoke in the rear wheel. I went ahaed and changed all the spokes on both wheels, change the bar tape and was charged appropriately. I recommend this shop for repairs! read more

Justin is amazing and ready to respond to every need. Great advice given when he could have pushed an expensive product.

take awfully long i dropped my bike off because last timenwe spoke they said it would take 1-2 days. Crazy how they havent even started working on it. I have an event I was expecting to get it at least by toda afternoon but i guess not read more

Best bike shop around. Justin and Van are the best. I recently purchased a new bike from Bicycle Rack, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! Justin was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect bike to fit my needs and budget. He took the time to explain the features, offer test rides, and ensure I was completely comfortable with my choice. The selection was impressive, the pricing was fair, and the customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend Bicycle Rack to anyone looking for a high-quality bike and expert guidance! Also provide excellent repair service, quick turnaround and fair prices and superior workmanship. read more

I was very pleased with the service! I'm glad that I chose to bring the bike here. What a great local asset!

Shout out to the Bicycle Rack in Hightstown. If you're looking for a bike, they have quality, bikes at good prices with EXCELLENT customer service. With the pandemic, bikes have been hard to come by and I had been keeping an eye out for our daughter who needed a bigger one. I found the perfect bike there, at a fair price. They were willing to hold onto it for 3 months until I needed it, deliver it free of charge and adjust it to her height upon delivery. They have a warranty and tune ups that come with the bike as well. We've taken our other bikes there for tune ups in the past and they also recycle bikes. Whether a child or an adult they have bikes for all ages. Locally owned, small business. read more

Not too much to say but I bought a new hybrid bike online and we took it to the Bicycle Rack to get assembled and they did a great job. They had the best price in the area at around $85, and when the bike came with a defective shifter and they filled out the warranty claim for me and handled getting the new shifter without me having to do anything but wait a bit longer. The bike hasn't fallen apart yet so I think they did a good job! read more

The Bicycle Rack is an institution in East Windsor. Van has been there since 1974. It is a candy store of bike stuff and the only place to buy, fix, ride, and hangout in an awesome shop. We bought our last bike and will be buying our next here too. Go now - go, go, go! read more

Van and Justin are great, knowledgeable bike mechanics and very friendly to boot. They are always super helpful and can solve any issue you may have with any type of bike. The prices on sales and service are very fair. They alway take the time to help you with anything you need. Their repair turn around time is very quick. This is a great bike shop. read more

The area is so lucky to have the Rack for their bicycle needs! I have had my bike serviced there with great results. A few weeks ago, I went in with my daughter as she had grown out of her first bike. The store was packed!! Ten minutes later, we were back in the car and she has been riding the new bike constantly! They are real people who don't try to upsell you, but give you what you need with a friendly smile. Van and his team are the best!! read more

Couldn't Be Nicer, More Knowledgeable, Reliable, or Reasonable Priced. I moved to the area from North Jersey and was saddened to no longer be close to my LBS. I had a long relationship with them and trust them implicitly. The thought of finding a new LBS that I trusted with my Road Bike was tough. It's technologically advance and well equipped and not every bicycle mechanic that claims to know their stuff actually does. Van and Justin (the only 2 guys I know well) are awesome. They both know their stuff, are incredibly nice, and always welcome questions as I ask many and love to learn about servicing my bike. Couldn't recommend them more. Trusted, Knowledgeable and VERY reasonably priced. read more

Good place for bicycle repair. I had taken my wife 's bike to them to get some brake issue fixed and after inspection the advisor recommended a full service , indicating that the assembly wasn't done properly ( it was ordered online and DIY assembled). After the service , my wife says it's a totally different ride and doesn't look like the same bike anymore. She is extremely happy with it. Would Recommend for all kind of bike repairs. read more

This is an excellent bicycle shop. There have been times when we have needed repair for both my long wheelbase recumbent, and my son's mountain bike. Both were not purchased at the Bicycle Rack, but I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and knowledgeable staff to answer questions and correct problems on both of our bikes. read more

This shop is great. They are very knowledgable and honest while charging less than other local shops. I needed my bicycle shipped to Los Angeles. They disassembled, packed, insured for $700, and shipped it to Cali, all for under $100! They can ship UPS right from the shop too, less errands for you to do. I also popped in once when having trouble getting my tire back on the rim. They were happy to help me right away for no charge. Highly recommend this shop to anybody in the Hightstown area. read more

My husband and I have been going to this shop for a few years now. As we get more health conscious we are find the bike riding arena to be one of our main sources of exercise. Van is the owner and he's a knowledgeable and fair guy. He won't try to nickel and dime you and will give you the most he can for your trade-in if you have one. Once you buy a bike there you are a customer for life. If you need an adjustment just stop in and he will hook you up usually right there and then. The shop is always busy and I can see why - good service and great products! read more

Adjusted the railer. Charged only $15 plus tax. Very fair price and very honest. In today's world, I thank you to the older gentleman with the glasses. read more

Been going for years, since they were in their in their other location. Fantastic service, always do a great job, and nice guys.

Always great honest service. I have had my bike tuned up there for many years. They have lots of accessories and great advice. read more

Reliably good service. I have bought bikes there and have had several tuneups, race preps, and long-trip service.

Not a bike shop to buy from or service a high end Campagnolo equiped road bike or mega buck MTB, but for everything else, very reasonable prices, professional demeanor, friendly and no non-sense kind of place. I appreciate that their strong point is selling bikes and equipment that are very good value, no cheapies nor extravagant stuff, but stuff that works. I can tell that they take pride in their work just by noticing details like brake and derailleur cables dressed nicely, even spoke tensions on wheels from their cheapest to most expensive bikes, headsets that aren't too sloppy nor too tight, etc. Even handlebars and wheels that are aligned. Better workmanship here than the popular bike shop in Mercerville. BTW, I was only buying a mirror for a MTB and their price rivalled Amazon so I decided to support this local business. read more

We've been purchasing our son's bikes at the Bicycle Rack for 10 years. When he out grows one, we trade it in and put the value towards a new bike. The bikes are so much better quality than Walmart or Target and they repair and tune up any bike we bring in. I had my husband's Cannondale mountain bike tuned up there for him for Father's Day and he was thrilled! It had been collecting dust in the shed because he knew it needed lots of work (tubes, tires, brakes, etc.) and he didn't feel like doing it. They are friendly, honest, and have always given us good advice even when they could have conned us out of our money or sold us service we didn't need. I hope they stay in business for many years to come. read more

A wonderful experience. Van has been in the business for decades and knows his customers well. I have purchased starter bikes for my kids, two 29ers, a few Hybrids, and a stationary bike. (9 bikes in total.)All the bikes were used. I have owed some of the bikes for 20 years and Van and his staff have maintained them all. Most of his costumers are repeats because they are happy with the quality products and awesome service. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. The pricing is very fair on purchase and repairs. Turnaround time or repairs is very fast, sometimes the same day or then following day. I highly recommend The Bicycle Rack! read more

All I did was buy a chain and shoes here, but I hit the staff with some questions about my vintage bike and they answered which saved me money and time on the overhaul process. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Don't buy your bike online buy it at local shops as they will fit the bikes to your size and needs read more

My buddy Jose introduced me to this shop. The owner Vance is a down to earth guy. Very knowledgable & helpful. He's not pushy like other bike shops. He fixed my road bike like new. I will definitely bring my friends & family. Highly recommended. read more

I can't say enough about the service level you get from this store. I would highly recommend buying a bike here or having repairs done here. They are fantastic people. read more

Great shop with great staff. Bought a bike there and have had it back several times for tune ups. Always service at a fair price and they help you load and unload your bike from the car and are nice about it. Also seems to be the same folks working there for many years which is nice. Took bike in yesterday for a tube up and they had it back today! read more

I've been going here for several years and will not go to any other bike shop. Not only is everyone knowledgeable and friendly but they don't charge you an arm and a leg for parts or service like other bike shops in the area. They also do as much as they can on trade ins to get you into a better bike and I even had one of them take the time to show me how to change a tire when I first started riding. If you need anything bike related there's no reason to go anywhere else. read more
