4,300th Review…read more Anyone who has traveled with or transported e-Bikes will understand the challenges in doing this task, this is mostly due to their weight, many e-Bikes weigh between 60 - 100 pounds. This presents a few different challenges compared to transporting a non-electric road bike. I've tried a few different solutions and bike carrier brands over the past few years including Thule, Yakima and Hollywood bike racks and I've found all fell short on a number of fronts. These e-bikes aren't cheap and I wasn't going to continue risk my investment on many of the lightweight carriers that are in the market place. Well I think I may have found the best solution with the Young Electric products, at least for my situation. After doing my due diligence when looking for a new e-Bike carrier to fit my 2" receivers on my Maverick, Jeep, Subaru and Motorhome I found Young Electric, a company I wasn't familiar with, so I did some additional research and boy was it worth my time. I read the reviews, watch as many YouTube videos as I could find online as well as looking at the detailed design and specifications. I also reached out to this manufacturer to answer a few questions I had. This customer service team answered all my questions during this process and once I place my order they continued to provide me with shipping updates, they also shipped all the products I ordered within a few days with one exception which was the tail lights which I knew about the delay prior to ordering, The 66 pound bike carrier arrived on schedule via UPS and arrived in exceptional packing and damaged free. This is a quality product from the heavy duty carbon steel structure, the aluminum ramps, aluminum bike rails, hardware, plastic components and flawless paint as well as the amazing craftsmanship. The assembly and installation was very easy I watched a very good and accurate instructional video on YouTube and reference the instructions included with the carrier - everything is pretty impressive. Apparently, breaking the damper is an issue with these shocks. Anyway, he was very communicative and up front. The cost to repair wasn't much more than a rebuild/service and I figured it was worth a try. Needed an extra part or two so took a little longer than expected but he was upfront about that. In the end, I got back what looked like a brand new shock that works perfectly. Very satisfied with Trail Labs.

Management refused to send the proper bolts and arrows, assuming I just had to have the hardware because I collect nuts and bolts ! Ridiculous ! I just can't understand why a retailer wouldn't send assemble bolts and unprovided arrows? I would stay away from this place. Find one that gives the benefit of doubt to the customer and observes " the customer is always right" standard!
