Extortionate Markups: They quoted me prices that were 100% higher than the manufacturer's stock price. They achieve this by charging you full MSRP for the clubhead and then charging you FULL price for an "aftermarket" shaft that provides zero statistically significant improvement for 95% of golfers. No Supporting Data: As a coach, I asked for the Trackman data to justify why a $400 shaft upgrade was necessary over the high-quality stock options available from Titleist, Ping, or TaylorMade. They couldn't provide it. They rely on "feel" and sales jargon to push "boutique" shafts that carry massive commissions for the fitter. The "Used Car" Experience: The vibe in this place is identical to a shady car lot. They aren't trying to lower your handicap; they are trying to hit a monthly sales quota.
