Tallahassee Photo & Frame

Awhile ago I somehow got water inside the glass of two very special photos, one of my maternal…read moregrandparents and one of my husband's grandparents. I knew that Tallahassee Photo and Frame (TPaF) could bring pictures back from the dead, and it did. The work was beyond what I expected, was ready sooner than promised, and the price was very reasonable. Additionally, I found a unlabeled roll of 8mm film last year when I was getting my late parents' house for sale. I brought that in as well and TPaF did a wonderful job of transferring the film to a DVD and included a thumb drive. Turns out it was film of my parents' wedding day back in 1956. Just a few scenes, but it's nice to have. Kudos to TPaH!

When I dropped off my disposable cameras, I was told the turnaround time would be about 3 weeks, possibly a little longer depending on the company they use to develop the film. It has now been almost 5 weeks, and in that time I've had two other disposable cameras developed elsewhere for less money and with much faster turnaround. I called a few days ago to check on the status, but I was told there was no way to track or see where my film was in the development process. That was concerning, as I have no idea whether my film even made it to the lab or if it could have been lost in transit. I also paid extra for digital transfer files and was told those would be available before the negatives were returned to the store, but I still haven't received anything. I genuinely wanted to support a local business, but based on this experience, I'll be taking my film to Walmart/CVS or mailing them off myself so I at least have tracking next time. I just wish I had read the reviews before choosing this place.

There was a time back when newspapers were printed and the Sunday paper was full of sale circulars…read morethat I spent a lot of time and money at Best Buy. The latest software or video games. The latest must have electronics and computers. A decent music section to pore through. Those days are long gone so until recently I hadn't had any reason to darken the doors. After some online research, I went there and bought a dishwasher because they had a great price and a better deal on installation and hauling off the old dishwasher. That went smooth and easy. Consulted with the Geek Squad on the possibility of repair when the face of my Apple watch separated from the body (2nd watch that has happened to) and got advice that saved me money. The employees have all been friendly and helpful. It may be a long time before I need anything from them again but I would definitely check them first.

After ordering it online on March 30 it said it will be here between April 1 and April 4. It now says it is coming April 14 and after speaking with many representatives, including supervisors, not only could it be delayed more, but the warranty started as soon as I ordered it, even though I don't have physical custody of the item. When I tried explaining that to several other representatives, they said that their policy. Is this ridiculous or what?
