Bibber Creek is an awful horse boarding facility and your horses will likely be injured or die here! The accommodations are very dangerous for horses, as I found nails, screws and bent pieces of metal in the two stalls I rented during my time there. I would show up to find my horse injured with gashes on multiple occasions. Other boarders experienced the same with serious injuries that led them to remove their horses from Bibber Creek. If I wanted those things fixed, I was told by Patty, the owner, that I had to bring tools from home and fix them myself. At one point, I observed a divot on the ground of my stall and was told I'd have to repair it myself. So I spent the afternoon with a shovel from home trying to make the ground level and safe for my horse. Were they to twist their leg in that divot, it would have been disastrous. More seriously, my horses colicked on three different occasions during the short timespan of a little over a year, and two of them were fatal. The day of my first horse's fatal colic, I found the water lined drinking post in his stall not functioning so it is very possible that it contributed, if not caused the incident. Veterinarians were constantly out treating other boarder's colic incidents as well. When my other horse had a fatal colic on November 11 of 2023, I had already paid the entire month of November. I took a few days before going to collect my belongings from his stall because I was grieving and knew it would be difficult. Patty texted me that I needed to come and get my stuff so she could rent out the stall to a new boarder and prorate them to get additional money for a space she had already been compensated for through the end of November. Patty is constantly patrolling around and interrupting your riding and/or groundwork. Even if I was just spending time with my horse in our rented stall, she would show up and inquire as to what I was doing. Patty is extremely bossy and gossips with a clique of condescending, know-it-all boarders, creating drama and a hostile environment for those who prefer to quietly house their horse and keep to themselves. For someone who owns a horse boarding property, Patty knows very little about horses and comes off as frightened of them. Since the time I have left Bibber Creek, I have had 3 very happy and healthy horses with zero incidents of colic. Please do not put your horses through what I did when I trusted Bibber Creek to be a safe and caring boarding facility. read more
