Proceed with CAUTION ‼‼…read more I regret to say that my experience at The Whole Pet Vet Wellness was deeply troubling and misleading. From the initial phone conversations, I was given the impression that this clinic was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of my eight-month-old German Shepherd. However, once I arrived in person, the tone and treatment shifted dramatically. What was presented as straightforward care quickly became layered with unexpected and costly add-on fees that were never clearly disclosed beforehand. The experience felt structured to create trust upfront, only for essential information and services to be reframed later in a way that prioritized billing over transparency. The conduct of management--specifically Joe (manager) and Jenn (assistant manager)--was particularly concerning. Both displayed a dismissive and condescending attitude, speaking down to clients rather than communicating with professionalism or empathy. On one occasion, I personally witnessed front desk staff being reprimanded and spoken to harshly in front of me, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate in a client-facing environment. Most alarming was the refusal of assistance while I was present with my dog and seeking help, allegedly due to staffing limitations. A wellness clinic should not invite clients in under assurances of care only to later deny support because of inadequate veterinary coverage. In contrast, the front desk employees, MIA, Ava and Ashley were consistently kind and professional, despite being placed in difficult and clearly demoralizing situations. Trust is everything when it comes to veterinary care. Unfortunately, this clinic's leadership demonstrated poor communication, questionable transparency, and a troubling focus on revenue rather than patient well-being. I strongly encourage pet owners to ask very detailed questions and consider alternative clinics before committing to care here. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Whole Pet Vet and feel it is important to share my concerns to warn other pet owners. Wait....Having said that.... It gets worse..... My eight-month-old German Shepherd was seen at this clinic, and throughout the process I experienced a troubling lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism. I repeatedly attempted to contact the clinic for updates and clarification regarding my dog's care and diagnosis, often calling more than ten times before receiving any response. Even then, many of my requests went unanswered. A diagnosis of possible elbow dysplasia was delivered without adequate explanation, guidance, or timely follow-up, leaving me anxious and confused about my young dog's health. The lack of communication during such a serious situation felt negligent and deeply distressing. Additionally, I was initially led to believe that I would be shown how to administer Adequan injections to my dog during a visit. This was presented as a straightforward and supportive process. However, once in the room, I was informed by the assistant manager, Jenn, that she would refuse to demonstrate how to give a simple subcutaneous injection unless I paid an additional $49 fee. This was never clearly communicated beforehand and felt opportunistic, especially given the emotional state of a concerned pet owner. It was difficult not to feel that financial gain was prioritized over patient care. The veterinarians and management, including Joe and Jenn, did not demonstrate compassion, accountability, or integrity in my experience. I do want to note that the front desk staff--specifically Mia, Ashley, and Ava--were consistently kind, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the actions and decisions of the clinic's leadership and medical staff. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. Pet owners deserve transparency, timely communication, and care that prioritizes the well-being of animals--not unexpected fees or unanswered calls. I strongly encourage others to seek veterinary care elsewhere.

They asked me to stay in my car for check in, until they made sure he was not sick or contagious. The front desk staff remembers owners and their pets, even though they are extremely busy and have so many patients. Walking in and having them greet my dog by name sets the tone of how my baby's health and wellness will be handled. Dr. Bellers and Dr. Davison - I just don't even have the words to explain the intelligence, professionalism, and kindness of these two ladies. They are beyond patient and kind. I have an English Bulldog, which generally requires a specialist, and they both know his breed up and down. They are both beyond well-versed in taking care of ALL breeds of dogs, even the most complicated ones. The plans of action are thoroughly explained with both Dr. Bellers and Dr. Davison. They walk through why they chose the treatment plan, and why they didn't choose a different treatment plan depending on the situation. Without any knowledge on allergies with dogs, I now feel comfortable with anything that comes up, because both of these doctors explained all reasoning, treatments, and courses to solve the problem, and any future ones if they were to come up. My baby is cared for by this top of the line staff, and I could not be more thankful. I have been to this vet about 40 times now, and have NEVER had a bad experience. Always greeted with a smile, always cared for with precision, and ALWAYS sent the receipt and visit summary. I could go on forever about the care team at LGDC.

I started calling every rabbit-savvy vet I could find, hoping someone could see him immediately. After several calls, Adobe Animal Hospital told me their urgent care location in Los Altos could see him right away. In my frantic state, I accidentally drove to their Los Gatos location instead. Even though they don't normally accept walk-ins, the receptionist was incredibly kind and understanding. She checked the schedule, found that there had been a cancellation, and was able to fit my bunny in. I was so grateful that she didn't make me drive all the way to Los Altos. The entire staff at the Los Gatos location was amazing. Everyone was compassionate, patient, and genuinely cared about my bunny. They performed x-rays, gave him a thorough exam, sent us home with pain medication, and explained exactly how to care for him. The next day, my bunny stopped eating, and I immediately worried he was going into GI stasis because of the pain. I brought him to Adobe's urgent care location in Los Altos, where they once again took wonderful care of him. They did another full evaluation, provided medication to support his gut health, and gave me detailed care instructions. The staff at both locations went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, patient, and truly compassionate during one of the most stressful experiences I've had as a bunny owner. They also have multiple rabbit-savvy veterinarians, which is such a huge advantage since experienced rabbit vets can be difficult to find. Since our visits, they've called twice just to check on how my bunny was doing. That level of compassion and dedication means so much. I can't thank Adobe Animal Hospital enough for taking such great care of my bunny, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional rabbit veterinary care.

To this day more than 5 years later, even after she has now passed, I deeply regret that decision. I had previously asked for a small mass on one of her nipples on her stomach to be removed (I was overly anxious and this was taken advantage of to make more money). I was assured during that appointment that it would just be the mass removed and not her entire nipple. After the procedure, I noticed that blood was dripping from her stomach onto the floor. I looked and saw that her entire nipple had been removed. I was sick with regret and the horrible realization that I had made a big mistake. I was younger then and did not know better or how to advocate for myself, although I knew that I and my collie had been done wrong. Those who were employed here in 2019 (I do not know if they still work here) should be ashamed. The whole ordeal caused a lot of trauma. To this day I find it utterly unbelievable that the vet did not suggest it being an unnecessary procedure and advise against it, or provide any communication that they would remove the entire nipple despite my being assured beforehand that this would not be the case. My collie lived the rest of her life with one missing nipple on her stomach for no good reason thanks to my naivety and the wrongdoing of this place. I do not recommend going here.

The staff is so caring, and I can feel how sincere they are when they provide care or ask about pets. Dr. Anthony is a fantastic doctor who gives every visit all of her focus and caring, and Naomi is always so helpful and maintains great communication. I would definitely recommend Dry Creek to anyone in the area looking for the best care for their pets. And to the staff, sincerely, thank you. Akai is my best friend. But I got the feeling he didn't like me asking so many questions, and in our most recent appointment he asked me "Any other questions...?" with a smirk, and it made me feel bad. He doesn't provide any additional information though, so if you don't ask questions you're only getting the bare minimum information. I've never had him offer up "frequently asked question" type info or context. Dr. Anthony is a different story. When explaining the differential diagnosis for my dog's symptoms, it felt like she was thinking out loud and for an extended period with no confident recommendation. I had to ask "what would you do if this were your dog?" because it wasn't clear at all from the presentation of her thoughts. The front desk staff are very nice and responsive, but availability is a problem. I called because my dog had hurt her paw and was limping, but wouldn't let me get a close look at it. They didn't have any openings for TWO WEEKS. They did offer that I could drop her off and leave her for a day so the vet could see her between other patients. But here's the catch- that option is 25% more expensive than a regular vet visit and I can't even be there to ask questions (not to mention this plan requires two trips over there). The receptionist acknowledged that they are busy and are aware of the problem (per her: they start each day with some "same day" openings but those quickly get booked) but she admitted there are no plans to address this issue.

I received a response offering an exam appointment (which I expected), along with the soonest available opening, but no information about pricing -- not even the cost of the exam itself. I replied asking for both the exam fee and availability. They responded by booking an appointment date and time, again without answering my question about pricing. I had to follow up a third time explaining that I needed to know the cost before confirming, and I was finally told the exam would be $60, which seemed reasonable. Since it was actually my brother's dog, I sent him to the appointment. After the visit, he was quoted $1,600-$2,000 for treatment, which was unfortunately out of his budget. While that happens and isn't necessarily the issue, I was disappointed to find out he had been charged $80 for the exam instead of the $60 I was originally told. When I reached out via text, they explained they "forgot" to apply the new client discount -- something that had never been mentioned to me beforehand. They offered either a refund or to apply the difference toward future services. Since we had already found another clinic that could do the same services for around $1,200, I asked for the $20 refund back to the card. After that, I never heard back. No confirmation of the refund, no apology for the overcharge, nothing. I understand veterinary care is expensive, and it's not their fault my brother is a broke college student. But basic customer service and communication go a long way. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning or recommending this office.

I explained the situation, but was told they were fully booked and could only provide the phone number of an emergency veterinary hospital. That said, we are actually going to the same vet for exactly the same reason, and I have personally seen a great deal of compassion from them. They are closed on Sundays and only open a half day on Saturdays, which can make urgent situations challenging, but my experiences with their staff have shown that they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Another perspective is that many pet owners feel emergency hospitals can charge dramatically more than regular clinics, making them seem like a rip-off for relatively simple procedures. I understand that clinics have schedules and capacity constraints, but I was surprised that no effort was made to accommodate a senior dog in distress, even for what appeared to be a brief procedure. I had hoped for a bit more compassion and understanding given the circumstances. Compassion and flexibility are qualities many pet owners look for in a veterinary practice, especially when dealing with urgent situations involving elderly animals. While the staff was polite, the lack of any attempt to help beyond providing another phone number left me feeling unsupported at a stressful time. Based on this experience, I would hesitate to rely on this clinic during an urgent situation.
