Dollar Tree has become a pretty frustrating place to shop…read more Parking here can already be annoying, and with the recent snowfall not being cleared well, it's even harder to get in and out. Inside, there's typically only one register open, and the cashier is sometimes away from the front handling other tasks. Lines build quickly. Customer service has also felt harsh and moody on more than one visit. On top of that, very few items are actually $1 anymore, which takes away from the original appeal. Overall, just not a pleasant shopping experience.

I love a good mall-run, but this experience was so sad and underwhelming. I've often gone to…read moreParamus Park SOLELY for a Stew Leanord run, and never -ever- ventured beyond the store gates into the rest of the mall (because I've heard things). Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! In any case --- it's a decent visit in the "land of malls".

While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all.

Smaller than usual Target, meaning the stock is naturally less - and that is surely the case here…read more This Target is a little more 'upscale' than usual Targets, but it doesn't mean as much as they try to make it appear. It looks like another business in some ways. Lines weren't bad and I was able to go right up to the self checkouts without any issue. I had zero interaction with employees - which is the norm in Targets in general - but no complaints. I didn't get that 'unwelcome' vibe that Target employees usually give off, so I guess that's a good thing. Parking lot is busy, but spacious enough. It could've been designed a little better, but it's not Target's fault as it occupies the land with several other businesses. Upscale doesn't always mean better and in this case, it certainly doesn't. Again, this is a smaller Target location - so if you're familiar enough with Target and what they carry, you might not find what you're looking for here. It's an okay location, but nothing more and one I'd probably never return to unless I'd have no other choice.
