Even after numerous in-person requests, and despite phone calls from nurses, they still failed to…read moreget my medication filled until they caused a further problem.. apparently they tried to make me pay for a medication, and after telling me to pay the girl went to check on insurance (which I told her was not suppose to pay).... after I had put my card in and did all the on-screen stuff of course she told me to do before she went to check on insurance... so the girl comes back and eventually helps another customer telling me to wait (with me thinking it's about the missing medication we were discussing before she walked away because that was the main concern, and as well she already started me to process the consent/signing/payment). So after that she comes back she tells me to wait, and then some minutes later tells me she had charged someone else's stuff to my card, and so I asked her what happened to the money she claimed I owed when she told me to pay, and she starts blaming me, loudly, telling me how it is all my fault, and even after things were quiet, she joked with the lady who she charged my account with, claiming that I was so mad over just $3 when that wasn't even the amount, so not only did she mess up, but she blamed me, and then went on joking about it with the customer who got her stuff paid for. This is completely unprofessional and I can't believe after she made a mistake, she publicly started lashing at me in front of all those customers, and even then tried to act as if I was just some Walmart employee like since she was pharmacy it made her better than other associates, in an effort to try to make it look like I was mad over something completely made up by her, when I was already stepping to the side with no problem to wait to find out about the other med that was missing, but instead she didn't come back to tell me about the missing med but claimed it was God's work that the medication was refused to be filled by them at the time, despite I told her he could die... she still claimed it was God's work, but then blamed me for something that was her fault.... this just goes to show how people will blaspheme the name of God to push blame onto others and shows also how anti-christ this Walmart location is. They discriminate against Christians and there are even satanic people there who pretend to be Christians.... but I never expected someone in pharmacy to make a mistake, and claim because it wasn't filled it was just God's work to keep him alive, because of their mistake... then she charged someone else's meds to my card, refused to give me a receipt, and blamed me then, but that's not God's work or God speaking because the devil is the one who blames people who did nothing wrong, and it just goes to show how antiChrist this Walmart is in York, SC

The pharmacist Ms. Deborah was a great help for the Medicare enrollment season at the end of 2023. I don't know what we would have done without her help. The Medicare insurance coverage is so complicated and you have to have someone who knows what they are doing and knows the insurance. She knew what kind of insurance we needed and helped us get the best coverage at a good price. She will never steer you wrong.

This is mainly about the pharmacy and its automated calling. We go through this every month. You call me and tell me my Rx's are ready and available for pickup. I get there. They are not there. Sometimes you guys find them but most often it is wait another day and we'll call you. But you already did call me. Again, this as nothing to do with the absolutely fabulous service of the pharmacy. More like technology is overriding common sense. I wish a human would call me and let me know my long standing Rx's are ready. I guess that would be too much for a company that has survived a century and many economic crashes. If the automated lady calls, I'll just call you guys to make sure, how about that?

Dr. Bentzoni and her team know me by my first name. They are extremely friendly and always make an effort to go the extra mile. I prefer to come into the store; however, I have found that the Pharmacy Drive Thru window is incredibly efficient and easy to use. I've always been pleased with the exceptional level of service coming from the Pharmacy. I would hate to lower my rating of this CVS, because the care I receive from PharmD Kim and her team is so exceptional; However, the check-out experience for the front of the store is a disaster; the Shelves are poorly stocked, and trying to check out from the front of the CVS retail store is less than desirable.

She told my wife no and she'd have to come back. While my wife is attempting to explain, the male pharmacist came to the window and rudely closed the window shade. I would hope that this review would change things but even a call to their corporate office did nothing. This is why they have spent likely millions to put stickers on their drive thru windows saying "someone's loved one works here so please be kind" unfortunately my wife's insurance company requires her to get her meds and take the abuse from them.

This location stays very busy, and lines can wrap around the building. The staff seems overwhelmed at times, but I believe they're doing their best to keep things moving. Having seen the behind-the-scenes challenges of pharmacy work through my relative, I know how demanding it can be. It's clear they're likely short-staffed and doing what they can, so a little patience and grace go a long way.
