I've been in one of these before but this was my first time to this location. Now I understand why it's been so long since I've returned. There just isn't really that much to keep me coming back. Most of what they carry are brands I've never heard of. There were a couple of items that got my attention. They have brioche load bread, hamburger and hot dog buns that are reasonably priced and in a google ranking for hot dog buns it was in the top 3 of the 10 ranked. They also have lime and lemon juice it 32 oz bottles for 1.30 with is about $2 bucks better than Harris-Teeter or Publix. Their fresh produce doesn't look fresh and there isn't much variety. I recently read an article about their recycling program. I asked three different people about it an no one had a clue of what I was talking about. one girl said "ha, we don't do that here" and just walked off. You have to put down a 25 cent deposit to rent a cart. I guess, they lose a lot of carts here or they don't want to pay someone to retrieve them from the parking lot. It's best to bring your own bags or you can buy one. They also have a bin for boxes CostCo style. Be prepared to prepare to bag your own groceries. I guess that's the German way to keep cost down. There are no signs over the aisles to tell you what is where so you just have to wander through each aisle to figure it out. If it's 'prime time' shopping you'll be frustrated with the chaos. They do have the option of self-check out and they have one register that's operated by a staff member. The store is clean and many of the items remain in large shipping boxes on the shelves so sometimes you'll have to hunt down what you're looking for because it's not well displayed. The parking lot is large and clean though it's kinda hard to negotiate getting in and out of they entrance and there is only one way in and out off a busy street on Anderson. read more

Just placed my first Instacart delivery order from Aldi's. So easy and the delivery was GREAT! Super friendly delivery person. Everything packed well and easy put right in my pantry and fridge. I will definately do this again. Sorry didn't think of taking photos but I do highly recommend. read more

I'm a huge fan of the Aldi brand to the point that every weekly food shop starts at Aldi. I recognize that there are certain things that I'm not going to be able to find in an Aldi but the core items? Save at least half. Ribeye steaks, chicken breasts, cheese sticks, milk, eggs, cream, bacon. Oh, my! The bacon. Yeah, you have to pick through it a bit to find the ones that are less fat but at $3.50 for a pound, it's worth the effort. Free range eggs for $2.29 a dozen. A bag of six avocados for $3. Harris Teeter and Publix can't meet that. Yeah, there's still a few things that I'll have to go to one of those other guys to fill in. And yeah, you have to bring a quarter for your shopping cart. And yeah, you'll be bagging your own groceries in the reusable bags that you've hopefully remembered to bring with you. But to save $100 on my shop? Worth it. Nothing spectacular or very different from Lidl. Prices around the same. You have to put a quarter in to use shopping cart. You do get it back.?? Big cons, very long lines, and while they did have 3 registers open, the cashier chose to close while I was standing there with 3 items. I put my items back & left. No need to ever go back. Huge disappointment all around. I'll stick with Lidl. read more

I like the renovations that were recently made. Over all the prices are great at Aldi. The only things I'm not fond of is the lines, how crowded it usually is compared to the dice if the store and the small laundry detergent selection. They have great healthy food, organic food, gluten free etc. but they don't have any fragrance free laundry soap or dish soap that I've seen. I will keep shopping at Aldi's convenient Rock Hill location even though I know that that means I will have to go to two stores to get everything I need. read more

Discount grocery shopping in rock hill. It took me a while to discover Aldi, but I'll never go back. A lot of people steer clear of aldi because they carry almost no name brands. There are a few but not many. I have to say though that the aldi brands are good. Maybe not exactly the same taste wise but at almost 50% less expensive overall, I'll take it. It's small too, which is a good thing. Everything is organized and easily accessible. The isles are narrow which makes it easy to grab things on either side. The cashiers are super quick, which is good because lines do get long. Bring a quarter too. If you haven't been, you'll need a quarter to get a cart. You get it back when you return it. They also don't supply bags, so I recommend bringing your own. Which of course is eco friendly. I love aldi. Lidl is good too, but I'll generally choose aldi for ease purposes. read more

Great location. Store is just like any other Aldi you've been to. However, don't get caught in Renee's checkout line. I've never been treated so poorly as I was by her. She was moving way too fast and I couldn't keep up with her ringing up my items. So I asked her politely to please slow down. Instead of acknowledging me, she just stared blankly at me and kept ringing things up. I was dropping things off the conveyor, trying to keep up her pace. I asked her two more times until she just said "no, I can't." And she kept going. When I asked her to stop trying to ring up the items I had sitting at the back of the surface (my optional items I May get based on the total) she literally tossed my items back to the back of the line instead of just being patient and waiting for me. She threw the items to the back of the conveyor belt! I wasn't going slow. I wasn't holding up the line. She just seemed to want to be a total jerk to me. I'm not accustomed to someone making a conscious choice to be rude. Why? It was such a frustrating and stressful experience. After I was done I told her that she really should be more patient with people. Still, no response from her. Just a blank stare. I just don't get it. It was just such a negative experience. We just moved to Rock Hill and this was a bad beginning. I love Aldi but I will certainly be going to another one and avoiding this one completely. read more

Avoid Aldi's on Sundays since it gets VERY busy and they can't keep the shelves stocked enough during the day. But If you want to save money on Groceries, Aldi's is your place! (Lidl's is a close second.) Note: The stores are not HUGE and therefore will NOT carry all brands. If you want specific Brand names then go elsewhere unless you know Aldi's carries what you want. The Aldi's brand name is called, "Clancy's" and is generally very good. You can save Big money by shopping Aldi's first! read more

Amazing prices! Clean and friendly. They had everything I needed and lots of food on sale.

Always stocked. Register attendants are very quick and take very little time for small talk. You are in and out before you know it. Their prices are great and selections are always abundant. The brands sold are just as good as, if not better than, regular supermarket brands and name brands. read more

Aldi is so much cheaper than the usual grocery stores! I spent have the money for what I'd usually get at walmart and I even got a little gift set of dog toys for my dogs! Still saved 40 bucks! I love it! read more
