I would STRONGLY caution anyone considering this company!!…read more This has been one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. The company advertises "professional, reliable, trained experts," but the service has been anything but that from day one. From the very first visit, the quality of work was disappointing. The man who arrived performed work that honestly could have been done by a teenager for a fraction of the cost, yet we were charged nearly $300. When I asked basic lawn care questions, his trained expert opinion was he wasn't sure. Completely unsure and unable to provide answers! They also promise advance notice before arriving, but they have failed to do so repeatedly. Crews have shown up as late as 8PM on a Saturday without any communication. Most concerning, while we were out of town, they SOMEHOW entered our LOCKED backyard without permission. We never authorized access, and entering a locked yard without consent is completely unacceptable and felt like a violation of our privacy. On top of that, the work itself is careless. Weeds along the sides are ignored, grass clippings are left piled around the house. For the amount they charge, the service is nowhere near worth it. This company requires full payment for the entire season upfront, but when we tried to cancel due to poor service and requested a refund since they would not be completing a full season worth of services, we were told "sorry wish we could help you, but the money has already gone to operations". Despite multiple requests, I have yet to receive documentation supporting the alleged "verbal no refund would be issued agreement". To make matters worse, during one of my calls, I overheard another customer expressing similar frustrations with the company's service!! Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!!

Sorely lacking in basic communication and customer service skills. Contracted to have aeration…read moredone, and crew was a no call/no show on the day committed to, with no follow-up until late that night ("we were unable to make it out today"...). Rescheduled for a week later, and crew was no call/no show again, even following numerous attempts to confirm appointment prior to that day. The only communication that was timely was sending an invoice - one week before the work was first scheduled... In general, I'm always willing to give a small business a second chance to redeem themselves, but if they don't recognize it as an opportunity to earn your business and your respect as a consumer, there's not much more you can do. In closing: "A second chance doesn't mean you're in the clear. In many ways, it is the more difficult thing. Because a second chance means that you have to try harder."

Buyer beware! Rockscape advertises all inclusive and carefree service. This is not what we have…read moreexperienced. The biggest issue appears to be a recent change of ownership that has led to a lack of accountability and poor quality of services overall. The sprinkler start up apparently does not include basic inspection of operation. You will have to inspect and schedule repair independently. There is a lack of communication internally as well as with you as a client. Different internal employees use each other as cover in lieu of completing tasks. There is no ongoing review of the lawn and landscape. Weeds and dry spots are not noticed with weekly lawn maintenance. You will have to review and bring to their attention, and issues are still unresolved. Beware the subscription service. They will not allow you to cancel service despite their lack of attention to your lawn. I never write reviews. I would truly caution any potential client before you sign up with Rockscape. They promise a care free solution, but it will cost you more time and then trap you with terms instead of caring for your lawn or allowing you to hire a competent maintenance company.

Formal Cautionary Review: Rockscape LLC and Jonathan Pierce - Proceed with Extreme Caution…read moreAs a resident of the Lone Tree/Denver metro area, I believe it is important to provide this detailed review regarding Rockscape LLC and its owner, Jonathan Pierce, for anyone considering landscaping or hardscaping services. Public records from the Colorado Division of Labor Standards and Statistics document that the company and Mr. Pierce personally have been found liable for wage theft violations. These records further indicate that an employee has pursued legal action against both the company and Mr. Pierce individually, with state support. This information is available under Colorado's Wage Theft Transparency Act, which publicizes such determinations to promote greater accountability in the workplace. In addition to these labor concerns, multiple customers have reported challenges such as being bound by unfulfilled year-long contracts and experiencing notable overcharges, particularly on materials. From my direct observations, Mr. Pierce appears to use substances regularly in order to function. I have witnessed this firsthand, which raises additional serious questions about reliability, safety, and overall business operations. Given these factors, I strongly advise potential clients to exercise the utmost caution. Limit payments to work as it is completed, insist on comprehensive written contracts for all aspects of any project, and avoid any pressure toward long-term commitments or verbal agreements. Thoroughly vet all terms and consider obtaining independent verification of materials and pricing. The Denver metro area offers many established, reputable landscaping companies with proven track records of ethical conduct and customer satisfaction. Taking the time to research alternatives will better protect your investment and help ensure a successful project outcome. For the official public records on the wage-related matters, refer to the Colorado Division of Labor Standards and Statistics resources: https://cdle.colorado.gov/dlss/decisions-and-appeals-information (The Wage Theft Transparency Act spreadsheet and related decisions can be accessed via this page.) Prioritizing businesses that uphold high standards of integrity remains the best approach for any homeowner.
