On 10/19/23, I paid $5,500 for an 80' double wood slat fence in my rear yard. The slats were installed with staples instead of nails or screws. A couple of months later, the slats began to warp, twist, and pop off the studs. I called, and three slats were replaced. Additional slats have warped. I have called several times and was told they were busy and would get back to us as soon as they could. No show. Now, when I call, all I get is voicemail. I have concluded that inferior wood (green) wood was used, and staples are not a viable method to use to affix slats to the fence. DO NOT USE. read more

Edit: I'm updating this as the owner contacted me within a few hours of me posting this review. He did state that his website is relatively new and he's not getting emails sent to his phone from the contact us form. I did call a couple days later but I can't recall if I left a voicemail so it's possible he didn't return the call because I may not have left an VM identifying myself as a customer. His quick response here makes me believe this is just a strange circumstance issue where something got lost in the internet/phone world. I appreciate his quick response and courtesy despite receiving an initially negative review, perhaps we will get another chance to work together in the future. Used their contact form on their website to send a message on Oct. 29th because I was looking to have some irrigation work done around my house. Called and left a message 2 days later and still haven't received an email or callback from them. Not sure what happened, maybe they are overly busy or just weren't interested, either way it's disappointing to reach out to a business looking to get some work done and not even get a response. read more

After moving into our new home, we realized we needed a little pizzazz in our backyard we had a bit of money to spend on it and decided to have some fun. After interviewing a couple landscaping contractors, no question left that Bobby was going to be the skilled designer and personable person to work with. From start to finish he executed exactly what we were dreaming of. All I did was tell him some of our ideas and he did the rest. He came up with a beautiful design. The pond was the main feature and it came out amazing. We love it from just brown grass to a beautiful Oasis with many hours to be spent admiring as it grows in. We were very fortunate to find a quality landscaping firm during the middle of the pandemic. We had moved into a new build house with nothing but dirt, rocks and boulders for our yard. Bobby (Business Owner) responded quickly to my quote request on Yelp. Bobby and his crew did a fantastic job at transforming the rock and dirt into a beautiful front yard. Bobby installed irrigation, plowed the barren earth, removed, rocks, boulders, planted trees, sod, a retaining wall, and installed beautification stones. Bobby is responsive and customer focused Bobby responded to calls regarding our new irrigation installation on how to operate it. Most important contractors doing other work for us damaged the lines he installed. Bobby responded and made the repairs. Outstanding job from these guys. I brought out 4 different companies for an estimate on a 62-foot block wall with a red cap. These guys are very reasonable. Bobbie is very knowledgeable, respectful, and was very patient with me with a date to construct the wall. There crew knock it out of the park in 2 days, without leaving a spot behind. Not to mention huge drama with adjoining neighbors who couldn't make up their mind on what they wanted, nor did they want to pitch in. However, the crew dealt with them, and we got it all done. We needed a complete re-make of our backyard. It had a rock waterfall, creek, and pond that started at the back fence, flowed down and into a pond against our back patio, cutting our yard in half. A large rose bush bed left us with a small area of grass. Then there was the old railroad tie retaining wall that was rotting, and a dirt area on the other side of the waterfall. Bobby listened to what we wanted, which was to get rid of the waterfall and pond, replace the railroad tie with a proper retaining wall, create a large rectangle of grass perfect for cornhole, badminton, or other games, and a new section of patio. After receiving his very reasonable estimate, we opted to add a gas firepit in the middle of the new patio. Bobby got his workers on the demo and the new yard took shape. We were very impressed with the mason he used, Wilbur. Wilbur was also easy to work with as we kept coming up with minor changes to the original design. Bobby also replaced the entire sprinkler system. And, Bobby listened to my numerous questions (sometimes dumb questions) with great patience and understanding. Considering the pandemic lockdown and some rain, he completed the job in a reasonable time frame. We ended up with the backyard we've wanted for years. I would recommend BG Landscaping to anyone. We were looking to add some sod for our non existent backyard and decided to go with Bobby. Very straight forward and personable. He not only installed sod, but fixed all our sprinklers, graded and evenly laid out the area for it to be put in. We also asked him to help us remove and cover up our hot tub. So disappointed after trying to get an estimate with Bobbie. He rescheduled with me 5 times and I was very understanding and flexible. Finally, he told me he would come by sometime Tuesday afternoon and I got a text from him giving me a 30 minutes heads up and again I was flexible and said no problem. I waited and waited, literally outside, for an hour and finally text him to let me me know when he was actually on his way and his response was "I've already been there I waited about 15 minutes oh, I can do it tomorrow also?" "Sorry I have 3 other estimates to get to" Either he was at the wrong address or he is lying but either way he did not care to call/text me when he arrived. After I've been so flexible and friendly, I was disappointed by his lack of communication and to be treated that way.
