My husband and I started the building process of our new home in September of 2021. We ordered our…read moreappliances from Fergusons in October 2021--understanding that the backorders of appliances was at an all time high and we wanted to order early. We worked with a representative their, shared our plans, and even measured the duct work in the showroom for the hood we wanted to ensure it was large enough to cover the duct because our ceilings were 9ft. Ferguson's does not take deposits, so you have to pay in full for your appliances, so we did. After we paid in full, ordered our appliances, we didn't hear from them until Spring 2022. In March of 2022, our refrigerator and dishwasher came in, but not our hood, ventilation system, and dual fuel stove. We were told May. Then May came, we were told June. Then June came, we moved into our new home, and then we were told July for the rest of our appliances. Finally in July, our hood came in. We had to schedule a time for our contractor and electrician to install it so we had to wait another 2 weeks. When our contractor and electrician came in to do the install, turns out the duct cover we measured, with our representative from Fergusons, does not come with the hood and is a separate purchase. This was news to us. Oh, and the power cord that connects the blower to the hood is not included, which also was not communicated with us by our representative. So we had to order a duct cover and power cord for our vent. Fergusons was a little more prompt on getting those items to us, as we were first told 18 weeks until those came in, but somehow they were able to get those to us in 3 weeks. Now, we're rolling into August and still no stove. In September 2022, the stove FINALLY came in. We live 180 mile round trip away from the Billings showroom, so we couldn't get it for 4 days after it came in. We communicated with our rep about when we would show up and if there was anything else we needed to install our stove. We were told just the gas flex line. We went and picked up, got the flex line, and left. We started the installation process the next day, and turns out they failed to send the power cord for the stove with us along with sending us the correct size of gas flex line, but wrong fittings. We communicated our concern with our rep immediately, and she said she thought the power cord was sent (which normally I would be like, ok mistakes happen, but now I'm wondering how much these representatives know about their products) and that the gas line sent was the correct one. I assured it was not, that the fittings were too big. We went to Fergusons (again) to try and get the right parts, and we're still not sure if they sent us the right fittings. We were told by our plumbers to use Fred's Appliances, and we still went with Ferguson's. We completely regret our decision and wish we would have went with Fred's. Maybe we would've have had people working with us who knew what we needed to order and send us with the correct supplies to make our appliance functional.

I have not dealt with a more disinterested business in my lifetime. They simply won't help customers with basic issues if my experience is any guide to you. I have waited 6 weeks for a courtesy of any kind regarding a Miele laundry dryer I paid $4K for. I have called back at least 5 times for this over the weeks, without any result. I have a Miele induction stove, $8K, that is four years old from them that 3/4 of the stovetop hasn't worked since its second week in my home, in 2020. Likewise never any help from them after reporting the problem years ago. I would avoid Ferguson at all costs, its been a nightmare for dealing with this business. I would also urge Miele to discontinue having their products retailed there. I am embarrassed to have such an irresponsive business in town.

They…read morewill not back up what they sell and they turn their back on you the second they get your money in their pockets. The only customers they care about is the big time contractors. Everybody else is just a worthless source of petty income that they think they can turn their backs on. For those of you who have used American Appliance in the past please note they are a different company now. I don't know what happened but they just stopped caring about the little guy. Be especially wary of any warranties of hopes of dealing with these guys in the future. Even if they did care about the little guy (they don't) rumors are flying about them being close to shutting down.

We bought a Commodore Home through Pierce in Billings in 2016. There have been a few minor issues…read morewhich Pierce took care of immediately. We had a huge hailstorm last summer that destroyed our roof, windows and porch railings. In reviewing floor plans because of the storm, my husband found that one of the bathroom vents had not been installed, which explained why we were getting sewage like odors in the house. As soon as we told Pierce about this, a crew came out and fixed the problem despite the fact that Pierce no longer carries the Commodores. In addition, they were very helpful in obtaining the railings and windows which can only be gotten from the factory. We would like to point out Keip Vigus was especially helpful. We would highly recommend Pierce for their great customer service and living up to their word about their warranties. Tony and Rose Basko, Thermopolis, WY

I was looking for a single-wide trailer to buy to make a home for my son, plus, buying a trailer,…read morefor me was cheaper than renting an apartment in Billings. The first time I went to look at Pierce out by Zoo Drive, there was a female salesperson who said she wouldn't be able to accommodate our price range I think her exact words were "Oh, I don't think we'll be able to do anything for you," I was treated like an inconvenience. I checked Pierce off the list and found the floor-plan I wanted at Montana Modular (a wonderful sister-company to Pierce). The trailer I bought ended up being the exact on I wanted sitting on Pierce's lot. - I gave the bad experience the benefit of the doubt at first, I didn't want to let one bad apple (the original salesperson at Pierce) ruin the whole bunch (Pierce homes). The truth, sadly though, is that I wish I would have bought a home elsewhere. I bought my home over a year ago off the lot and the company has yet to complete repairs and complete projects that should have been done before the lights were even turned on. It has been a struggle to have repairs even looked at by Pierce, but here are a few examples: a repair-man directly from Pierce home's staff spray painted my ceiling fan to cover flaws, but the problem with that is that my few-month old son was in the same room while fumes were left free in the air, not to mention that I was cooking at the time this happened. There are things called hurricane tie-downs that should have been complete before the siding went up - I called Lana with Peirce homes and told her (after leaving more messages that I can count) that this was still unfinished. Lana is to coordinate repairs between the home-owner and the people hired to do the repairs. I finally sent her an email with all the unfinished repairs (Hurricane tie-downs, cracked ceiling (in several rooms) electrical outlets improperly installed, damaged trim, screen door missing parts, missing bath-tub accessories, leaking kitchen sink-after less than desirable counter-top "repair", loose and creaking air vent ducks, a front door that has never closed properly, unfinished removal of auxiliary parts designed for moving the home, and a broken oven (that I was told wasn't Peirce's problem)). After reading all this you may have thought to yourself okay, timely process for repairs (over a year) and a few disagreeable employees. I wish that were case, but it's not. If you're considering buying a home from Pierce in Billings, you may want to think twice - I wish I had been warned. My last contact with trying to coordinate the last of the repairs I was told in January and I quote, "Don't expect anything until late February, early March." Pierce homes in Billings offers just plain bad customer service, which doesn't see their customers as people, but dollar signs. Shame on you Pierce!
