He was full of himself (bragging)saying he had been installing cabinets for years and won an award on the Parade of homes and so forth. When he unpacked the cabinets he sat a 4' w. x 3'h. x 2' d. wall cabinet on a step ladder w/ the door open and it fell breaking the door and fracturing the cabinet up the side (I saw him do this). When we noticed that he misaligned the cabinets, he blamed the plumb of the walls and said they weren't straight, and then he miscalculated the drop of the ceiling and misplaced an elec. outlet for our microwave plug immediately behind the roof vent for our microwave and used a plastic plate blank to cover the hole in our wall cabinet and had to punched another hole for outlet. We had several 3 - 7 day delays when he did not show up to finish so our kitchen was in disarray and unusable while we waited for him. We complained to Kitchens Plus and they said well, you should have picked someone else. I am giving Kitchens Plus a two star only because of the quality cabinets which cost $6,000.00, but when they came to see the lousy job their contractor did, the owner made excuses as well and we had to concede (suck it up) on several contractor mistakes. I do not recommend Kitchens Plus or Absolute Construction.

initially contacted the owner geoff erben to build a 30x50 garage. geoff came in person, took…read moremeasurements, discussed process and agreed on price. after numerous phone and email correspondence moved forward. yellowstone barn and geoff required a 30% down payment. initially geoff was great about replying to permit requests, answering questions, etc. in july 2024 sent down payment to geoff at his laurel address. payment was made in good faith with geoff indicating he would have garage done in 3 weeks. i said perfect. this is where it all went south. once geoff made deposit of funds i was essentially ghosted. would not return calls, emails, texts. in mid august geoff called indicating he would be there essentially in 3 days. to the day of this post, i have no contact with geoff erben of yellowstone barn company. i have had to hire an attorney and seek civil damages to try and recoup my down payment loss plus mounting legal feel. do not trust this individual or company. if no stars were an option, i would have chosen it. be aware

The roof looks beautiful! The gutters are a nice frame for my home. The crew cleaned up every shred of whatever was up there AND picked every nail in my yard. The entire process was so much easier than I realized it would be. it's easy to see the crew respects their boss and they worked hard for him...You guys, it looks great! I ended up with a high quality product and I'm asking for another bid at our cabin!
