One of the…read moreowners sits on the Board there, but I really haven't had an opportunity to see his company in action until I was in charge of putting on the Covina Business Gala 2026. This event is the Chamber's installation of the Board, while also recognizing the Business of the Year, the Small Business of the Year, and the NPO of the Year. I have attended this event for the last 4-5 years, and it was always the same, templated event. So, when I was put in charge, I wanted to level it up. I worked with one of our fellow Board members to craft an elevated, theme 1920's event with live music, cigar lounge, cigar girl, and some immersive experiences. This is where 100 House stepped in... and I was so happy they did. They helped us build out our Cigar Lounge with plush seating and fire pits, set up a dynamite stage and backdrop, provided beautiful seating for dining, and helped create a one-of-a-kind entryway as a photo op experience. Wow! They worked with me at every stage, provided a layout, and were on the dot with my production schedule. Their set-up team was stellar and had so much hustle, like it was their event. And, the strike team came back after the event and left the space as if they were never there. I will absolutely be using Hundred House again for all of my events this year... and hopefully for years to come.

Overall, we are so glad to have met Helen and have her guide us through this experience. Without her things would have been chaotic and stressful. But with her help we were able to create one of the best days ever! Our wedding was at La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes; Helen had worked at the venue many times; our event went off without a single hitch; everything was absolutely perfect. Emphatic 5 stars from us.

Helen is responsive to emails and phone calls from beginning to end. She has her own staff and a top notch assistant, Chad. We combed through quite a few other planners and ultimately decided on Helen and Eighteen Place Cards. We too read the reviews and were not too sure how legitimate all of the 5 star ratings were, so we really gave Helen the 3rd degree, 10 months before the wedding date. Specifics: Helen checked in with us regarding every single detail from the venue [The Noor], ALL of our vendors, and remained on top of it all every step of the way. She was constantly going the extra mile at every turn and never once did she drop the ball, or fail at any of the tasks! We were demanding and we put a lot on her shoulders, but she proved to us she knew her job and performed extremely well. Helen and her team always responded with a 'can do attitude', while maintaining a professional demeanor. To say that we are grateful to have done business with Helen, would be a complete understatement. She and Chad are dedicated to getting the job done, no matter what. Everything came together perfectly as a result of her planning, execution and commitment. My daughter's wedding day was a total success because of Helen, Eighteen Place Cards, Chad and the rest of her staff. The proof is in the pudding. All of our guests commented on how nice everything was and how much fun they had. I know for a fact this was a direct result of Helen's passion and dedication to her profession. To sum it all up, I will most definitely utilize Helen for future events. She is worth every dollar we spent, and more. My entire family thanks you very kindly Helen. Respectfully, Ralph G.
