Turning Point Counseling has some of the most compassionate, educated, and caring clinicians I have…read moreever had the pleasure to work with. Each therapist at Turning Point has a strong skill set, most have been working in the mental health field for over 10+ years, and everyone has as a variety of their own unique specialties. A few of those specialties include trauma informed services, Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, CBT, EMDR, Art Therapy, and Bibliotherapy (and that's just to name a few). I would highly advocate and recommend any therapist at this practice, for those (children, teens, college students, emerging adults, adults, and couples) seeking compassionate and wholistic counseling services. The bonus? They also seem to accept almost all major insurance plans, so getting the support you need and deserve isn't held back due to financial barriers. Truly, an absolutely amazing group of therapists.

I have been going to Bernadette Godfrey for over two years now. I did not know anything about Bio…read moreEnergy Therapy before going to her, but she was highly recommended to me by a friend who had experienced amazing health results after her treatments with Bernadette. If you don't know what Bio Energy therapy is, go to her website and click on the link, "What is Bio Energy?" and also be sure to click on the LINKS section which will also take you to more information about the expert Bio Energy Therapists who trained her in Ireland (one of which is credited for curing famous Irish Dancer, Michael Flatley from a mystery and debilitating virus that plagued him for over 3 years - see article http://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/health/healer-cured-my-mystery-illness-claims-flatley-26502683.html). I feel so blessed to have found Bernadette and wish that anyone who is wanting to heal their body and actively participate in their own health, give them self the gift of Bernadette's Bio Energy Treatments. I find that a lot of people have a hard time understanding how this kind of therapy works but I have experienced firsthand that you don't have to understand it, to experience the phenomenal benefits of it!! I also think that people are often unwilling to spend money on taking care of their own health. They can waste money on Starbucks, fast food, smoking and other vices, but don't want to spend $80 for an hour of therapy a couple times month that is life altering and invaluable! The money I have spent on treatments with Bernadette is the best investment I have ever made in my life . . . my health and my self!! When I first went to Bernadette, I was grieving over the recent loss of a dearly loved family pet, and was a mess both emotionally and physically. I had a lower back pain for about 9 months previously and I was suffering from bouts of unexplained vomiting. This was just a few of my problems. During the first session and many others, I felt sensations occurring that I couldn't understand. It felt like she was pulling years of pain out of my body, it was amazing what was happening and I knew that this was the beginning of something much bigger than I could understand, healing my body both physically and emotionally. After the third visit, I woke up the next day and braced myself to get out of bed, as I had for the past 9 months, in a way that would cause me as little pain as possible. I would usually YELP (no pun intended every time I'd go from a laying down to standing up position). This particular morning, I was amazed to find that when I stood up the pain that had been there for 9 months was completely gone!! The pain remained gone. I continued to go to Bernadette to deal with my anxiety, and years of emotional issues that I had suppressed. I was in very bad shape physically and I knew that if I didn't get my body healed, I would end up with a chronic disease that could not be cured. I looked forward to each session, because every time I would feel better and better. I referred dozens of people to Bernadette, many of them have reported back having phenomenal results, and others who only went once for curiosity but who weren't really committed to the process, maybe because they didn't understand how it worked. (Their loss, truly!) I could write for hours about my experiences and other loved ones who have experienced significant healing during their sessions with Bernadette but Yelp has a word limit for their reviews. I recommend that you give her a few chances to help you with your issues and see for your self. She isn't a miracle worker. She isn't God. But she has a gift from God that I can't explain any better than I already have. She is extremely intelligent, talented, very intuitive and she is a healer of Mind, Body and Spirit. If I could give everyone the gift of what she has been able to do for me and my loved ones, I would gift her to everyone!! Since I can't do that with everyone, I hope this review will be a catalyst for others to give this gift to their self - and in the meantime, my favorite gift to give my loved ones, is a gift certificate for a session with Bernadette.
