Been more lately since I went on a diet and lost some weight and nothing fits but before I buy replacements, time to clean out the closets and make room. My eldest son is a big fan of Goodwill, and I think half of his wardrobe came from Goodwill. It's a clean store, well organized and from what I can see, the quality of the merchandise is very good. Considering where we live, we live next to some high-income areas and that is reflected in the goods being offered. Looking to stretch your budget, this might be a good place to start.

I didn't need anything but decided I should ease my curiosity by stopping in for a look. The parking lot was full and the patrons in the store were buzzing around with carts full. This is a clear indication that this store was much needed in the Denver area. I am ecstatic that shoppers appeared to be having a great time in the store.

They are also staffed by volunteers. If those aren't reasons to check out this store, the greatest advantage is how neatly everything is organized in racks by size. Some items are steamed for better presentation. They even have several racks of boutique clothing (that is, higher-end brands, like NYDJ, CAbi, Joe's Jeans, and Banana Republic), as well as purses, shoes, activewear, and a few housewares. If you like LuLaRoe, they have a rack of $1 items. Unlike many secondhand stores which have removed their fitting rooms, Amy's Closet has three small ones in the back of the store. Yay! Watch your step exiting, however, as the rooms are surrounded by metal frames, and I tripped a couple of times. Ha ha. I went on a Wednesday, and they were offering boutique items at 25% off, and buy-one-get-one-free for all non-boutique items. I'm not sure if these discounts are offered weekly, or if they are just trying to clear out some inventory. For example, a dressy Banana Republic (boutique) blouse and a pair of NYDJ jeans were priced at $13 each, and some CAbi jeans were $18. I found some non-boutique pants and jeans for $6 each, so their prices are great, if you can find something you like. They take ApplePay, too! Note they have moved a couple of miles north from their previous location (in the Brother's Bagels shopping center). I'd never visited the previous location, but this one is very nice, with plenty of parking. I'll definitely bring my nicer donations to the store, as well as shop for myself in the near future. But while all the work and performance centric rooms are first class, the real jewel in the complex is the Cain Center theater itself. This truely multi functional space offers "Broadway compatible" lighting, sound, print, and visual media support that runs the gamet of use from current kindergarters in a "summer camp" like setting to newly retired professional performers. For many years to come, this facility will help deliver to the greater LKN population the artistic focused support it has badly needed for so many years. Kudos to all those people who have made it happen. Thank you!

They have a convenient drive-through drop-off and the associate who took the stuff off my hands was friendly and provided a receipt. I then took the time to look around the inside of the store at the clothing and housewares. The shop is tidy and well organized, with the clothing sorted by men's or women's and then by color. Yes you are helping the community for low income people to purchase a home, but low income people cannot afford these prices if they need things to fill these homes. I heard a worker tell a customer today that they put a lot of stuff on sale because it wasn't moving. Well put affordable prices on this used merchandise so maybe someone who cannot afford new, can furnish their home. You along with other used stores are forgetting why these types of stores were started. She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! I have a small custom project and this will be my first place to discuss it once I've firmed it up a bit more. What a refreshing experience!!

All the employees were super welcoming and pleasant. 3 story house with plenty of rooms with private bathrooms, which is a huge plus for the families needing to stay here. They do offer shuttles to get you to and from the hospital. They have a huge family room, with crafts, games, and huge tvs for the families to be able to unwind. They have a library with plenty of puzzles and books to choose from. They have a laundry facility as well as a communal kitchen. Such a great visit, albeit a bit emotional just thinking of the reasons why families stay here but nonetheless, everything and everyone is bright and cheery!
