    Vegan burger

Vibe- Cool burger spot with a lot of menu items! I love that they have a vegan burger on the menu :) there's plenty of seating inside, I'd say over 40+ tables. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got the vegan burger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, and tomatoes and the wedge fries. The burger was alright, the grain patty wasn't seasoned enough for me so I would give it a 3/5; the wedge fries were delicious! Parking- There's plenty of parking in the lot.

First time going to Beyond Burger. Honestly thought it was fake meat when I first saw the sign. Some friends told me to check the menu and I was surprised. I got the South of the Border (1/2 beef burger, chorizo, fried egg and, pepper jack). So you order your burger and it is made with your choice of protein and cheese. After you pick up your order you take it to the condiment bar and build away. I added red onion, tomato, shredded lettuce, and mayo.

Solid 1/2 patty burger. Wanted a "lighter" fare so went bunless. The topping bar was ideal for this as they had both large romaine leaf lettuce or shredded iceberg. I was able to use the larger pieces to wrap my burger in. Fries were good. Could have either had a little more seasoning and/or temp hot. Good casual dining fond in Texas City. Salad on the menu looked good as well and would try them out next time.

Been coming here a few times now and have never gotten the chance to leave a review (my bad)! I have to say, they still have the best burgers in the area. And despite inflation and whatnot; their prices and serving sizes has remained reasonable. I always order the portobello mushroom burger and load up my plate with as many veggies (from the veggie buffet) as I can fit on my plate. It's always tasted the same old amazing flavor that I've always loved since the first time we tried this place out years ago. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Awesome place. Large portions and good quality. Clean. Lots of options for your burger on the bar. Reminds me of Fudruckers.

Really, that was my welcome? The restaurant had a few customers for the early Saturday morning. I was sat at a table that was very wobbly. The server had to notice because she moved the table around before seating me. Really, all these empty tables and you sit me at the wobbly one. I ordered a hot tea and ice water. The water for the tea tasted like it came from the coffee pot. Restaurants need to learn not to use the same pot for hot water that is used for coffee. I get bad indigestion if I drink any amount of coffee. So much so I now state I am allergic to coffee. So restaurants, please stop mixing the pots without doing a deep cleaning. I also ordered "The Southerner". It has 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs over medium served on a split biscuit, covered with sausage gravy and a side of grits. I requested the gravy to be on the side. The eggs were cooked great, sausage patties also great. The biscuit they were on had an odd taste. Didn't taste like the biscuits were baked, maybe fried? That would probably explain the biscuit being tough. The sausage gravy was not good. The gravy was thin/runny with cut up pieces of the sausage patties, but it lacked the sausage flavor. The grits were also very soupy. I had pushed my full cup of hot tea to the edge of the table, the server either didn't notice or just didn't care. I was only asked once if I was needing anything else, and since she didn't ask about my full cup of tea, I wasn't going to say anything. When she came over to the table she asked if I needed anything, I stated No, I am done. She asked if I wanted my check, and I paid my tab. They do advertise Bloody Mary's and other breakfast cocktails but I didn't have any of those. The location is good, area outside for the kids to run and play. Seating outside also to watch the kids. I think I would only return to this place if I am invited out to brunch with my group of friends. Otherwise, would be a long while before I return, being hopeful things have improved.

The toast was perfectly toasted and the ingredients on the grilled cheese made for a perfect brunch sandwich. Fries were super crispy and yummy too. This is a great spot for anyone who enjoys a good local spot with fresh menu options for sweet or savory preferences. Great atmosphere and nicely decorated. Highly recommend. Only reason for 4 stars is the wait staff was a bit all over the place but I'm sure it was just them trying to remain on top of providing a quick brunch service.

At approximately $20, it's essentially a steal. Diners get a slab of bovine that nearly takes up half the plate alongside vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes. I was very impressed how my steak came out just as I requested - medium rare - and I couldn't get over how super tender and juicy it was. Maybe it's just me, but when the meat easily melts in your mouth, you have to slowly enjoy it. The veggies were fresh and seasoned nicely and the mashed potatoes came alive flavor wise thanks to the shredded cheese and bacon bits. I just wished they were a bit bigger to match the steak portions wise. As for the establishment itself, a bit noisy, but it can be easily overlooked by the laidback vibe. I really dug the music that was blasting through the speakers. One minute, it was Luke Combs. The next, Pantera. I'd say this place can be a hangout for me when I want to catch the Astros, Texans, or Rockets.

So many sports bars no longer have the electronic (auto scoring) dart boards which I love so much. Thoroughly enjoyed playing. Machine takes cash only & costs $1.50 (6, 25 cent credits) for two players to play a game of cricket for example. I would definitely return to try their wings. They had a large variety of wing flavors. I was there during an Astros game. Pretty cool place to chill & catch a game.

There was also a manager I believe who came by our table and checked in on us occasionally. He was friendly and informative. The atmosphere and theming of this chain is great. There's always something new to look at and each booth feels well enclosed but still open enough to see the rest of the restaurant. I could see this place being overstimulating for some but, but for me, the music was at the right volume and nothing was too distracting from my experience. It was also nice to see the severs participate in a line dance randomly in the middle of the restaurant, as well as someone being celebrated for their birthday. I wasn't aware of traditions like that before visiting and it left a much more memorable experience than somewhere like Logan's Roadhouse. The food was excellent. Those rolls are to die for! I ordered the grilled salmon. While this is a steakhouse, I was impressed with the quality of the salmon. It had the perfect texture and combination of flavors. The lemon butter not so much. Wasn't my thing, I much prefer the one offered at Floyds Seafood. My side proportions were good and I was left full by the end. The restaurant uses a tablet for things like a digital menu, games, etc. like many other chain sit-downs. It did its job, though I do prefer the game selection on the one at Chilli's/Olive Garden. Pricing was solid. None of our items were too awfully expensive. I will be going back to this location in the future! 4.5/5
