But man, I asked to trim dead ends and I showed her how much I wanted my hair shorter, and she said in an contempt tone " that's more than just dead ends", and I did say then do whatever you want and she did take it literally. SO I SAT DOWN LITERALLY FOR TWO MINUTES and the lady ( in glasses with long nails middle age) said it was done. And I showed her how much longer I wanted her to trim my hair and another minute past she said it was done.. when she asked me if it was okay, while I was trying to reach my glasses , without me answering she already took the cover?? Off( so she was not waiting for my answer when she asked ) The hairstylist next to me seem very friendly to her customers and they were chatting.. I mean oh man I was looking forward to it because it's Chinese new year the next day but it is what it is ... I would genuinely not recommend this place ..

She was very knowledgeable and professional. Overall, my hair came out great and I love it, but when I got home I realized the balayage was only on my crown. None of the underneath layers were colored. I reached out the the salon to ask what I paid for ($377 in total) and they confirmed it was for full balayage. When I asked why there was no color on the under layers I was told they book and price by the hour, so I paid for the full hour of service and not necessarily full coverage balayage. I couldn't help but feel like I was overcharged, but like I said, I like the result. I went in hoping for full balayage, paid for full balayage and I still can't help but wonder what partial balayage would look like (and cost). But the salon did offer to refund their standard $30 for the misunderstanding.

I had previously scheduled a trial with another stylist, which went horribly and left me feeling rather helpless until I found The Key Look. From the moment I met Keziah, I was blown away. She was inviting, informative, explained her process and took the time to answer all my questions. Within hours of our meeting, Keziah sent me a draft contract for my review. Throughout the whole process, Keziah was responsive, professional, and patient. I made several changes to our contract and met with her multiple times to discuss questions and concerns. Each time, she was graceful and happy to help. You can tell that she loves what she does and her passion shines. My wedding preview was the best. Keziah did my makeup and Alisha did my hair. I provided my inspirational photos, and the execution was flawless. I felt like a princess, and it felt like my wedding was really happening! I couldn't have been happier. Keziah and I went over my feedback in preparation for my wedding day. On my wedding day, Keziah and Alisha were rockstars.
