My remote garage door openers were no longer working with the receiver, so I've been asking my kids…read moreto manually close the door and then jump like a gazelle as they passed the garage door, so they wouldn't trip the safety cameras. Although it was cute to me, it got old really quick with my kids. I figured it was time to get a professional involved. I chose The Up and Up Garage Doors company because it was relatively close to where I live (I learned pretty quickly that some companies don't serve my area, so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be disappointed if they didn't served my area). The company had a decent number of reviewers, which I feel makes the 5 star reviews seem legit. Surprisingly, I was able to book a consultation the same day. Neil was able to diagnose the problem relatively quickly and explained the parts that I would definitely need (like a new receiver), parts that I would not need (like the spring) and parts that would be nice to have (like the rolling wheels along the rail). He was very transparent about the price of the parts and labor as well as time it would take to pick up the parts and complete the job. TBH, the garage door system he recommended seemed gimmicky, but I decided to go with it anyway because he had me at " it's one of the quietest systems." He was able to install the very same day and was very patient helping me set up the remote garage door openers and iPhone app, which turns out has a feature that floored me, which was basically the ability to check if my garage door was closed or not after I left! The amount of time I imagined I would save by not having to turn the car around to double check is priceless! The overall time it took from looking at the company, setting up an appointment, Neil having to pick up the system from the company, drive back and install was literally less than three hours. I also thought the price was very reasonable for having such a quality product and super awesome experience. I would 10 out 10 definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to upgrade their garage system or just need any repairs in general.

Grateful for Zach's help on my garage door project!…read more I was looking to get some light in my garage which also serves as a home gym, so started to look into contemporary aluminum + glass panel doors. Seeing the list price of some of these online ended up taking me down a bit of a rabbit hole towards Alibaba-sourced doors, but I figure I ought to reach out to a pro before I commit to that direction. Zach was quick to respond and helped me understand why this was a terrible idea. I wasn't prepared to spend an arm and a leg, but he was able to hook me up with beautiful Clopay door installed at a really competitive price. There were some delays getting the door from the manufacturer but I appreciate Zach insulated me from all of that (apparently they delivered the wrong one at first haha). He showed up right on time on the day we agreed for the install and before I knew it the door was in. Super excited about it, and the curb appeal difference goes a long way too. Zach is a very personable guy and you can tell he genuinely cares about delivering for customers. Would happily work with him again but I suspect I won't have to - this door is built like a tank and the install appears to be high-quality all around.

It was easy to make an appointment on line at my convenience. Jeremy, my technician, called to let me know he was on his way. The text link I was sent let me follow his progress to the house. He listened to my concerns, asked good questions about the garage door, and spent some time evaluating the problem. He then explained what he had found and we discussed three options regarding the best solutions. He showed me the cost of each option so I could choose what I wanted to do at this time. I felt the prices quoted were reasonable for the work to be done. After I approved an option, he completed the repair immediately. The technicians carry most of the parts they might need to do a repair in their truck. After he was done, he explained the work he had completed and showed me how to work the new equipment I had purchased. I am very happy with Precision and will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Anthony sent me a text message with his contact information and image. He was able to take his time and explain what happened to my garage. My issue was fixed same day and in my opinion a decent reasonable price. Great service, fast accurate, same day repair. I also appreciate gator garage door sending me emails and photos of the repairs being done so I was kept in real time updates. I really appreciate when a business takes the time to use technology because I know I could've paired myself with another garage door firm that would price quote me fix to repairs and not send me an itemized list of items that were repaired and that they would take the time so I do feel that Gator garage door is superior than most.

I thought it was the opener and something getting out of sync but after some troubleshooting, it was something more serious. I had used Alliance Overhead Door in the past and they were the first call I made. The owner, Chris, took my call on a Sunday around 11am and asked me a few questions to diagnose the issue. It was likely an internal spring that had likely broken and needed replacement. I was afraid there would be an extra charge for a Sunday repair, but Chris so nope. So, I decided to move forward with getting the issue handled. Chris needed to address a current customer and then could be at my place around 1pm. As he was on his way, he texted me with an ETA, which was nice. Once at my place, he confirmed the issue and recommended at Torsion Spring Conversion. He confirmed the price, which was very reasonable, and he got right to work. Within an hour the old broken spring shaft was replaced with the new torsion spring rated for 25,000 cycles. Not only did he fix the issue, he also took the time to inspect the door and lubed the wheels and hinges before leaving. Now I am back in business with a working garage door. Whether you need a garage door repair or replacement, I would highly recommend Alliance Overhead Door. Chris Olari allianceoverheaddoor.com/ Call or Text : (512) 696-3891

Roberto showed about an hour after I called at 7:30 pm. He ran the door up and down about 3 times and then said he knew the problem. I had stored a shovel in a small nook near the side of the door and it had fallen to one side so that the top of the handle was just close enough for the roller to hit it on the way down. Roberto was so nice about it having been a dumb move by me. He proceeded to check the entire door and lubricated everything. He shook my hand and told me to call him with any problems that may arise. I asked what I owed him for a service call and he said he would never charge when there was no problem. He told me what to lubricate once a year and wished me well and was on his way. Wow! I'm still stunned by his kindness. There is no question about who I will call when I inevitably need service to my garage door. Thank you, Roberto!
