A Weaving Experience Like No Other! Our outdoor weaving studio is located right in our alpaca pasture. Learn the art of freestyle weaving on looms we built ourselves right here on the farm. We welcome up to six guests at a time for a hands-on experience among the alpacas, goats and chickens. No experience necessary, and all materials are provided.
History
Established in 2013.
Our weaving studio began with a simple dream: to create a welcoming place where people could experience the joy of weaving-without the barriers that often make it intimidating to try.
As a fiber lover, I knew how hard it was to just try weaving. Most looms seem complicated, require hours of warping and come with rules. Here, our looms are built right on the farm and are pre-warped for class- jump right into the creative part, exploring texture, color, and pattern. Mistakes are welcome here, in fact, they're often the most beautiful part. I believe in free-weaving-where you're free to experiment.
But just as important as the weaving is the setting. I've always found peace among animals, and I wanted to share that experience. There is something grounding about creating with your hands while alpacas graze nearby, goats wander past, and chickens scratch in the orchard shade. I'm honored to share this with each guest who visits.
Meet the Business Owner: Jenny F.
My little weaving studio is a dream that grew out of years of love for fiber arts and the peace I've found in nature and animals. I've had generous, patient mentors that showed me fiber arts are about connection, expression and joy, This space is my way of honoring them-offering a place where you can try weaving without fear, pressure or perfection.
I'm passionate about creating a space where people feel safe to experiment and find beauty in the unexpected. Whether its your first time touching a loom or your hundredth, I hope you leave here feeling more grounded, inspired, and connected-to your creativity and the natural world around you.
Come say hi to the alpacas, settle into the shade of the orchard trees, and let's weave something beautiful together.
