My first experience here was positive; however, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing. Upon entering, I was not greeted, which initially did not concern me. However, I became increasingly uncomfortable when the cashier began continuously staring at me. It was not an occasional glance -- he watched me the entire time I was in the tequila aisle. He may have been the same chunky cashier referenced in a previous 1 star review. Even when another customer called for assistance, he only looked away momentarily before returning his attention to me and monitoring my every movement. This behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. To anyone considering patronizing this establishment, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Racism and discriminatory behavior should never be tolerated.

I've seen the layout change slightly over the years but it's still on the meh side as far as color and shelving. The have those high selling snack items like takis on clips and throughout the store as well as candy and salty goodness. They're open until 2am everyday and share a lot with In-N-Out off Van Nuys Blvd and Moorpark St which can get crowded on weekends. What a crazy number of days, weeks, months we've spent without enjoying the good food and friendly service at this comfy, homestyle Italian eatery with a full bar and even fuller menu of properly prepared, seriously tasty dishes. The room is cheery and bright, while remaining welcoming. Not a sign of anything corporate here -- just homespun hospitality and good vibes from start to finish. Our server, Chris, was attentive and most accommodating, explaining various options to us newbies, and making my wife an offer she couldn't refuse: she was trying to decide between Chicken Parm and Cacio E Pepe, so Chris offered to swap the plain pasta side of the parm with Cacio E Pepe, giving her both dishes in one. Sold. You pretty much never see that kind of thing happening nowadays. And it was a great thing, to be sure. The generous portion of chicken was lightly fried and topped with an equally light tomato sauce that complimented the chicken and cheese rather than overwhelming them. The flavor and texture were spot on, and the robust Cacio E Pepe made for a very nice pairing. Me? I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, once Chris assured me it was made the traditional way rather than doused in cream as so many places now do. And indeed, the spaghetti was textbook al dente, dressed with with egg yolk and cheese that combined into a richly satisfying sauce. The pancetta brought a touch of salt and plenty of smoky accents, making this about as top notch a version of this dish as you're likely to find in the Valley. Cannoli were sweet and rich; a wonderful palate cleanser at the end of our meal. A Pepperoni Pizza taken to go for our kids at home looked absolutely first rate. Did I mention my martini? Properly made, cool and crisp, and only $15. Quite the bargain for this side of town. Yes, Trattoria Del Sole came as a surprise, but it should be no surprise to anyone reading this that we'll be making this our regular haunt from now-on. I think you should, too.

Everything was nicely stocked, organized, including all of their holiday items. It was evenly and nicely spread out in the right places. Store was clean, HUGE, and easy to navigate. Employees such as Doug, Jen, & Jackie, were very nice and helpful. I needed to get few things. Some were available, and others weren't. Needed to get some of their artwork. One for my living room, and the other for my bedroom. Both of my walls were bare. Well, not anymore. I got 2 art on canvas (which I love), 4 gift bags for wine, always comes handy & 2 greeting cards. Also got 2 nice size pillows for my sofa. They had a good sale going on for their small candles in the jar. (3) for $12.00. I love candles, and like to light them occasionally in my house. So, I got 6 scented candles in total. Not counting the tax. I also needed a wine rack, count of 6, Doug took me to that aisle, and they had one that didn't capture my attention, so I didn't get that. Prices are very expensive, depending on what you buy. I saw this cute oak colored wooden charcuterie board that was on sale, so I said might as well. So no wine rack, dirty restroom, nice size parking lot, and will return if and when I need any one of their items. Thank you all....
