Worst customer service ever! I recently tried to make a purchase but was declined because my ID expired and although I have a valid interim ID the cashier and lead were too afraid to manually enter my dob. And even though I'm over 50 years old they insisted in being able to scan my id card. I had to drive to Ventura which gladly accepted my ID. If you can shop elsewhere do it! These guys have lost their minds; you have to let them scan your drivers license to buy alcohol here. This is a huge privacy and security risk. Do you want a liquor store having your drivers license number along with the other personal information stored on your license? Having someones drivers license info creates a shorter path to identity theft. This should be illegal. Needless to say I told them they can have their liquor and walked out. I usually would go here for just imported beers. Their wine prices are NOT attractive. They haven't had Bittburger in bottles for years, just cans- nope. No 805's in large bottles. No Dinkelacker. The last time I went in, two days ago, they'd re-arranged the store and the craft root beer section was gone. Just a few cold Dad's root beers in the refrigerated section. No more keg's of Virgil's or the 20+ others they used to carry. The staff has always been millennial dummies who'll engage but only to flap their gums. They know nothing, whether it's stock or answers why stuff is not carried anymore. Total Wine is farther but they are knowledgeable and have a better selection. Buh bye Beev Moe. read more

Great if shopping in person. Not so great if you order online for pick up. They are sloppy and get the order wrong. First of all I ordered 18 bottles - they initially gave me 17. And then they closed at 7pm without delivering my ALREADY PAID FOR GOODS!!!!!! This location is within a larger shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. I ran in and out with a specific wine agenda. I was thrilled to see good wine on special, when you buy 1 bottle at full price, you get the 2nd bottle for ¢.05. There is savings, but the first bottle is overpriced so it's not as monumental as it feels, but still a good deal. The staff was friendly, I was quickly asked if I needed any help. BEVMO is sneaky, they have a nice selection of most everything and the employees are knowledgeable, but it's not really a great deal, if that's what you are looking for, unless it's on-sale, then it's probably a savings. I suggest you go for the knowledgeable staff and extensive selections of alcohol. Often overlooked is their selection of cheese and food compliments which go well with wine and alcohol. I'm also a fan of their cigars, they have a nice selection at fair prices. Why not indulge in multiple vices all at once? read more

What can't you get here?! I love this place. They have more options then you can think of. You can get a clubcard here that gets you deals as well as sign up online for e-mails that also give you deals. They have so much here that you didnt even know existed for alc and even non-alc beverages. It is nice that they have different sizes of alc. Like they have a 1/5 of citron kettleone that I can't get at the typical grocery store. They have beer galore, it is easy to find all your whiskey needs, or vodka needs as well. Have a good deal on this bottle of patron, that easily had 15-20 shots in it and only $23. They even have johnny walker green label! YUM! They have several mixers as well, but sometimes I just like diet coke or something to go along with it. Have great wine deals sometimes, like buy one get the second for 5 cents. Just so much stuff, amazing dessert wines too. The lady at the counter however was very kind and helpful. If only the prices were better! This is a great store with a solid selection where everyone will leave with something they want. Every time I come in, there is an associate ready to greet me and offer assistance. While the prices are not competitive, especially considering Total Wine is only a few exits away, I still come here due to the good customer service and product knowledge. This company are ripoff. I got a silver patron and 2 cigar at first the label patron silver for $99 dollar I ask them why are u so expensive he say this i my price ? I ask him Costco has for $69 he say we only Price match with total wine so the check the price and told me is $84. Dollar so I say okay and got. As soon as I went to my car I check total wine it was $69 same patron. I was shocked. So I went back and told him that and he say if u want I will return your money. The guy that work here was really cool and helpful. Talked me through my tequila options being really honest about the pricing of things. I ended up making pretty damn good margaritas, Raspberry Chipotle Margaritas to be exact. I probably could've simmered down on the chipotle but I like things hot, hot, hot. I really wish I could remember the mixer I got, but it kept the margarita from tasting genuine versus syrupy. I guess I like this BevMo mostly because the staff here are ridiculously friendly and helpful. Also they do offer some things that you cannot find at a super market, or the local whole foods, especially from the ones in the Conejo Valley. Last night I went to bevmo to get one of my friends a special beer. I was REALLY impressed with how helpful the staff was...especially Joe. He knew his beer like it was the back of his hand. Then we went to the special wine/beer tasting they do, and it was awesome! Joe was informative, and enthusiastic about every product we tried. What a selection of beers, wines, liquor, snacks and other fun alcohol related products. The store itself isn't as big as other Bevmo locations, but they definitely make use of what space they have. They seem to have a lot more merchandise than my other Bevmos, but maybe it just feels that way due to the size of the store. Oddly enough I didn't have any interactions with the employees as I was just browsing, but usually Bevmo employees come up to see if you need any help. I like this place! I went in today to grab a few hefeweizen for the weekend but walked out with something different. To my surprise they are carrying an old favorite again: Pinkus! Last time I found it was over two years ago. It is one of the early "organic" beers and relatively unknown here in the US. It's brewed in Muenster, Germany (add an e when you don't have an umlaud for the u) and I typically enjoy it there on tap. Muenster is a great university town and there are lots pubs and students to enjoy their local brew. My departure from BevMo was easy as their staff are always helpful and extra friendly to open more registers when a few of us are waiting in line. read more
