Their loyalty program is always a good benefit for shopping here. Especially when it's the 5 cent specials. The buy one get one for 5 cent is a hard special to beat. And Friday 5 cent beer and wine tastings. Pretty good deal right? Besides their mini's they always carry hard to find bottles. Or maybe I always seem to be asking for rare items. I guess hard to find items in my world. As was my visit today. I thought I'd stop in and see if I could pick up a bottle of a new bevie made by someone I luv and adore that was just released. Struck out. No one heard of it as I expected since it's barely a few months old. Meaning just came onto the scene and ranking well among its competitors. No one is familiar with the name yet. A worker checked the system and said only a few select BevMo's carry it. Santee has 3 bottles. So I came to this location. I couldn't find it on the shelf. A friendly worker asked what I was in search of and I said the name. I couldn't find it coz it was locked up behind a glass cabinet lol. It's just awesome to see the product in a big retail chain. I know the hard work that has gone into the handcrafted bottle of liquid gold. Just beautiful. I got the bottle plus a handful of other favorites. Nice store. This location has a nice layout. It's spacious. BevMo always comes through with whatever hard to find bottle I'm in search of. I also appreciate the staff having knowledge of the different bottles. I can talk how I talk and they can follow. I don't have to describe what I'm talking about. Really luv that. Cannot do that with people I know here. I can say one word and it will be crickets. BevMo in Santee. Hell to the yes! Went by tonight to pick up some supplies. They have everything under then sun and then some! I picked up a chocolate soda, a black cherry soda, a 6 pack of Great White and a 12 pack of Molson (I haven't seen Molson around at any stores in a long ass time...its one of my favorite beers so I was glad they had it). Signed up for a club card and saved a couple of bucks. If you need something, make that anything, to drink, this is your place in Santee. The staff was friendly and the prices were good. I'm glad Santee now has one!

Gosh the last time I was in this part of town was to get some baklavas from Baklava King. We visited this BevMo location over the weekend because they were the only location that had our favorite Bells beer. All the other locations had been sold out and the nice staff at Mission Valley said Santee should have a few left at their location. I called this location and the helpful girl said they had two left and would hold them for me. Note that the inventory on their computers doesn't necessarily reflect what they currently have sold last two days (from what I was told). They also carry gourmet cheeses and meats for snacks. I even saw their own brand of growlers. This Santee location is pretty spacious and well organized. They have a TON of minis which made me swoon. They are located next to the 99c store. Parking was easy and the staff helpful that day.

After picking up some pre made spaghetti and bread next door and Fresh and Easy, I stopped by here to pick up some wine for the evening. It is so nice to have these two places right next to each other. I went here because I wanted a specific type of Whiskey... and this Bev Mo had it for me... I called around... and this place had Peach Bird Dog.... I asked them to hold it for me... and sure enough... they did... Picked it up.. and now, I am hunting birds with my bird dog and picking peaches.. Not to mention swirling a hoola-hoop and doing kart-wheels on my trampoline

THE WORST example of "Customer Service" I have ever encountered in all my 73 years. I have a neighbor/friend who went to this store the other day and she was harassed by the employee of BevMo just as I was TODAY, "Memorial Day" May 25th 2020. I am a Vietnam Veteran and a "Customer" as well, as many of us are. My experience at this BevMo store today was that I was treated with THE MOST SEVERE form of rudeness and disrespect (as a customer) by some kid who did not appear to be much older than 12 who is apparently employed at this store that sells Alcoholic beverages who was RUDE to the HILT to me. I made a statement after he was rude to me by telling him that the whole purpose for this store even existing here is to generate BUSINESS and have "CUSTOMERS!" But, being a young child did not possess the maturity to comprehend that aspect. He had no room in his limited experience to want to "LEARN" why that store exists. If it is NOT for the purpose of pissing customers off who come there with money in hand to purchase merchandise... then I would appreciate someone within that Corporation to explain to me, (the "CUSTOMER") just WHAT IS the SOLE purpose for that store being there then. Is it a pretend store that is there just to argue with and piss off paying customers or is it there for another reason? All I know is that I came there with a happy state of mind and wanted (2) cold bottles of Wilson Creek Almond and/or Peach Champagne. It seemed to be a very heavy burden for the lady at the front door to find out if they have any and... if they have any that is COLD! While she walked off very slowly to find the answer to that query, this young child came to the front door and acted (as if I had done something wrong or against the store policy) when in fact all I was doing was standing there waiting for the lady to return with my Champagne. This boy was extremely rude to me when I asked if they have it COLD. He said "We don't keep it COLD." I said, "Well, what about all of the other things that you keep cold? Why is it that Wilson Champagne is exempt from being kept COLD for the "CUSTOMERS?" He said, "We don't have room for it." Then I saw the woman with whom I spoke to first, return to the front door and try to hide behind the boy (who told me to move out of the way because he wanted to service the customer standing behind me in line. I said "No! I was here first and I haven't gotten my order YET! I asked for him to move so that I could speak with the lady who I was dealing with before he came over to the front door. Then some older guy who works there came walking over to the front door and (rather than try to settle this dispute and "satisfy the customer" (me) and use REASON to SAVE a "customer" instead, he yells at me to LEAVE NOW! I left, I left immediately and told him I was going to post this and he stated to me "Fine, go ahead and do that!" So, here it is for ALL of Santee to read. Why on earth would ANYONE shop anymore at BevMo and pay their insanely HIGH PRICES when you can go right across the street to a MAJOR, National giant chain store and get a MUCH, MUCH BETTER DEAL there? The ONLY reason I did not go to THAT store was that they were CLOSED TODAY! I will NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER GO back to BevMo again. NOT EVER! They treated ME TERRIBLY! They treated my neighbor/friend badly the other day as well. It seems they surely take a SADISTIC kind of pleasure in PISSING PEOPLE OFF! BevMo is a poor example of how to run a business. VERY POOR. They disrespect their CUSTOMERS! REMEMBER THAT NEXT TIME and go across the street and up a block to that Huge National Chain Store instead. They have MUCH BETTER PRICES and you get a hell of a lot MORE for your money too. read more

This Bevmo isn't as big as the one in La Mesa. I don't think they have as much of a variety but there is still a lot to choose from. However watch out for there 5 cent wine sale. It is only for selected wines and the non selected wines are a little expensive. The beer on the other hand is just about average price as anywhere else. read more

Came in last week and waited in line for their free gift bag. I didn't even know about the event but after watching others gather in front of the store, I was curious and stopped to ask. Ended up waiting in line with them but it was well worth wait. If you're looking for a cheap place to get drinks for a get together or just a party, Bevmo is a good choice because of their Costco like pricing. read more

If you want beer or liquor you need to go to bevmo. They have some of the best selections on beer. I am never unsatisfied with this place, I always go home with a different beer and am always finding new favorites. You have to go to this place to find your tequila too. Best selection for the best price. read more

On several occasions I have stopped in for a purchase only to find the items I want are out of stock - it's a recurring theme at this store. Now I have to go to another place or come back another day. This has occurred on different days of the week, so I don't know what the problem is. I'd rather take the time to go to the Grossmont location, where I've never been disappointed. read more

BevMo Santee. I stopped in to look for Stiegle Grapefruit Radler and I located it. The tag on the shelf said it was 10.49 and that tag was right under the shelf where the 6 pack of bottled beer was stocked. The cashier rang me up, when I got to the car I thought that the total seemed too high. I checked my receipt and I had been charged 12.49. I went back in and explained that the shelf said the beer was 10.49, so cashier called for manager, manager looked at my product and went back to check the shelf, at that time I told the cashier I could have showed her the photo I took. Manager came back up with a photo of the tag at the same shelf, that photo showed 12.49. I asked her how could that be, and showed her the photo I had taken prior to my purchase. She said she didn't know, and stuck to her price. I asked her to show me where that tag was, we walked exactly to the shelf where I had picked up the 6 pack and the price tag was changed. I started looking around like I was on a TV show and I told her she changed the tag, she denied it. I told her I would return the product, which I did. Long story short, the label I had taken a picture of ( I discovered later when people responded to my social media posts), in tiny print below the SKU, said it was for a 4pkc - which is a 4 pack of cans. The manager never notified me of that error, she just stuck to the fact that her photo showed the correct price. No integrity what so ever. i'll take my business elsewhere. I am fine with me making a mistake, but the manager telling me to my face that she did not change the tag, unacceptable and I will be contacting corporate and have posted on other social media as well. This location is always empty, perhaps this is a sign. There will be another location that I can purchase beer, I don't drink that much so it won't make a difference to me. Thank you BevMo for employing people with no integrity that straight up lie to the customers. I have photos but can't see that there is an option to attach them. read more

They have study bars, smaller tables, bigger tables for groups, and even some cozy couches up a few steps which makes the space feel a little unique. There are outdoor tables too if you want to sit outside. I really enjoyed my visit this time and ended up spending a few hours reading and getting some work done.

The roasting of the beans that are done right behind the counter. They have all the standard flavors and dairy free options. They also have decaf options in small, medium and large cups. I usually get the chai coffee during the week and there is a small morning rush but the coffee is worth the wait. They have croissants, muffins and avocado toast. There is street parking and you can enjoy coffee indoors or outside on their tables. This used to be just the roaster warehouse then they added the coffee shop for patrons. Enjoy!

This small and inconspicuous warehouse factory makes the best baklava I've ever had -- so much so that it ruined other baklavas for me. I can tell that so much love, thought, and care goes into making them; the delicate layers of each piece are fresh, perfectly balanced, and not cloyingly sweet. The owners here are so sweet and they always provide a free piece with my order. They sell their baklavas in boxes only, but you get to choose from 3 different sizes. You also get to choose from different flavors (pistachio, walnut, chocolate walnut, cinnamon walnut, almond-pecan, hazelnut) and sizes (they have triangular pieces and rolled pieces), but honestly I would recommend getting all of the flavors because they are all fantastic! Prices were pretty good too, starting around $5 for medium and up depending on what you order. They also have a good variety of fruit teas, smoothies, and yogurts if you want something different. I'd come back again and would recommend if you're in the area.

Staff were friendly and helpful, making great recommendations (since it was our first time). The vibe was cheerful and pleasant. They had a great indoor and outdoor space to enjoy your delicious treats! It is a bit pricey compared to other froyo shops! But they do offer a loyalty program which offers a stamp card for frequent customers. Overall, the frozen yogurt was creamy and slightly tangy. The dole whip and pomegranate sorbet were the perfect combination of sweet and citrus flavors. My daughter is pretty basic- she ordered plain vanilla with boba. And she said it was the best she had ever had! We will definitely be back for more!
