THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF!! Even if you are a frequent customer. Always get a receipt. I have not gotten one from them for sometime because the guys are friendly and I thought I could trust them. Plus I was a regular. My transaction was $18 and some change. When I checked my bank account the next day, it was charged $28. I go here about 2 times a week. Not anymore. I went into Mr Liquor at 10227 Mast Blvd, Santee, CA 92071 today to buy a 6 pack of beer and redeem 3 lottery scratchers. The clerk scanned all 3 tickets and told me 2 where good for $6 and $3 and that the third was previously redeemed at some other location and gave the ticket back to me. I dont normally buy lottery scratchers so I figured there was some mistake since I only bought these for my Wife since she was having surgery and was going to be down and out. Mind you I purchased and she scratched these on the same day. After leaving Mr Liquor it was really bothering me that it said it was already cashed out so i went to a liquor store near my home and had the clerk scan it. He said that it had already been cashed out at another liquor store and suggested I go back to the original liquor store which is Mr Liquor at 10227 Mast Blvd, Santee, CA 92071 and ask for them to scan it and provide a receipt. I returned to Mr Liquor at 10227 Mast Blvd, Santee, CA 92071 and asked them to scan the ticket again and provide a reciept which they did and the reciept clearly stated that it had been cashed out at MR LIQUOR 10227 Mast Blvd, Santee, CA 92071 with the exact time I was there less than 1 hour earlier. I asked him why he said it was cashed at some other location and he stated that isnt what he said. I then asked him why it says it was cashed out at his location less than 1 hour before but I wasnt paid for it and at that point I was physically threatened and chased out of the store by the two men working there. The two workers had thier fists raised in defensive postures and actually followed me to my car as they were threatening me with bodily Injury and telling me "why are you even making a big deal about 10 dollars". Fortunately another customer was there at the time and got in between them or I'm sure there would have been violence on thier part. I have spent thousands at this store in my lifetime and was quite amazed that I was getting ripped off for 10 measly dollars from this establishment. I will contact the lottery people and make my complaint known and I'm sure that wont make one little bit of difference seeing as lottery is a scam anyways and I'm sure they wont shut that lottery station down if it's making them thousands of dollars a month My reason for posting here is to make it known and hopefully I may reach 1 or 2 people with this review before they get scammed out of thier hard earned money. Pretty large store for a liquor shop. Large lot as well. They definitely have a large selection of bourbon, whiskey, etc. Basically anything for a good time! Fair prices all around. They've got lots of things you won't find in BevMos so look around! Lots of vintage things lying around so keep your eyes open and you may find a vintage prize. They got other things here too like sodas, chips, etc. Fair selection of craft beers, but not much. More spirits than beer. Only thing about this place is there's no air conditioning. Just a fan running. That said it can get quite warm in there. But all the craft beers in in the fridges not sitting out on shelves at improper temperatures. read more

Terrible customer service. Bought bottles of champagne and One bottle was flat. Went back to store to exchange it and the guy who worked there said we could not exchange it. I told him there was something wrong with it and he refused to do anything about the problem. He said since we opened it he could not do anything about it. Was completely crazy since there would be no way of knowing it was bad before opening it. Lost a customer over really bad service. read more
