For a beer, wine and spirits warehouse, you'd think they'd have more bar tools. In my hunt for a muddler, I stopped off here and discovered they don't carry muddlers. You can buy the kind to make Caiparenas, but you have to buy the $25 bottle of Brazilian rum to get one. My son found a bottle of fancy root beer that he suckered me into buying, co he would say that this visit was not a complete write-off. read more

Crappy customer service! We have now been in there on two separate Fridays for their ADVERTISED wine or beer tasting, and both times have been told that they aren't setting it up because no one is interested. I guess me asking counts as no one. We went in there tonight for the same thing, and spoke to the assistant manager Tim. He told us that they never set up on Fridays because they never have anybody interested. We decided to mill around the store for about 20 minutes, get some things, and head to the check line. It was as we were walking out the door that we saw the assistant manager uncorking bottles of wine to get ready for a tasting. You would think, if he was interested in customer service, he would have found us in the store and asked if we were still wanted to participate because he was starting a wine tasting. I was dressed in a teal sharks sweatshirt, so I wasn't very difficult to spot, and he saw us walking up and down the aisles. Pure laziness and horrible customer service. read more

New store, nice and clean, larger than the old one on Stevens Creek. Big selection of wines and liquors, and plenty of parking. I would have given this place more stars except that the staff there is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I haven't run into any nasty cashiers yet, so this place is probably okay unless you actually need help from someone. read more

Hmmm. Mixed feelings here. PRO: all my favorite things in one place. CON: Staff (at this particular location). I walk in looking for the champagne case as I needed a bottle of Dom for a gift. A strange man (employee) approaches me. "Oh. Do you need help?" Me: "Yes, I need a bottle of the Dom Perignon". "Oh it's right here in this case. I don't have a key to it though". Silence. He continues "Hey if I press this button here (button reads: PRESS FOR ASSISTANCE) someone will come and unlock it". I think I could have figured that out on my own, but ok. Then as we wait for "assistance", he launches into a rant about how he only works here because he was layed off from his "real" job and he doesn't know anything about wine or alcohol. He said he doesn't like when people ask him for recommedations because he has no clue what to suggest. Ok...after that awkward and painful conversation, another emplyee unlocked the case and took my bottle to the front for me. Question of the day: if this guy has no knowledge of wine or alcohol, can't unlock anything, and isn't a cashier, what exactly does he DO at bevmo?? Even if his job is to wander around the store aimlessly, I can do without hearing about his hatred of his job. Negativity aside, I still love my Bevmo, I just hope I don't run into this guy again! read more

Wow customer service seems to have gone the way of the buffalo. No one knows where anything is, when or if things will be arriving, and doesn't seem to care if you're struggling to bag your own bottles or need help. Would have been nice if the guy behind counter at least offered to bag but no. After I had trouble reaching the bottles since he wouldn't pass them to me, he finally asked if I needed help, I said yes, then he just watch me while I dropped everything, then he got annoyed I wasn't moving faster to get out of the way of the line. Are staff now only allowed to not answer questions and take our money? Their beer selection seems to have gone down since the remodel/move and their prices seem to have gone up. I compared single malt scotchs and they were a good $20 more for most bottles compared with supermarkets (and that was discounted clubbev price). There are better bottle shops down the road and I recommend we start frequenting there. read more

Love this BevMo. Great selection, helpful staff, decent prices. I admit though that I do tend to go for sales and to buy more when things are on sale. But it's worked out pretty well. They have an extensive beer selection, and the fact that you can buy just about any kind of liquor or mixer there. Wine selections can feel limited at times Clearly they've made arrangement with certain producers for decent price, but I've found several case-worthy reds there in my price range ( less that $20, or even under $10.) I love bevmo! Even though they were sold out of my usual, the excellent service made up for it!

My husband and I came here to buy bottled beer for our wedding. We had no clue what or how to complete the task, but we were very well taken care of here. I am glad we came to this Bevmo rather than the one on Cambrian as they were the least helpful people.... The people at the Steven's Creek Bevmo however, were very knowledgeable and helpful. We particularly had a great experience with the manager...I think his name was James? Anyway, he knew exactly where to find what we were looking for and said he would call if they couldn't get the amount we request. Being a more paranoid person, I called him and he very quickly confirmed that they did have the right kind and amount we required, and verified that they would deliver the order to our venue, chilled, the day of. You have to meet a $500 minimum for delivery. We absolutely no issues or complications with our order and were very happy with the service we received. read more
