The manager was rude and degrading. No respect towards young women. I will not be coming here again.

Went yesterday with my brother, who is 23, and because I'm not 21 the cashier wouldn't allow him to buy the alcohol and claimed I wasn't allowed to be in there. Keep in mind they have a sign outside stating anyone under 21 can't come inside unless accompanied by an adult, which my brother is. The brunette cashier told us she "assumes" we both will be drinking it. Why? I've gone into BevMo numerous times with people over 21 including my parents and this didn't happen. The way she went about the situation and her ignorant assumption were unnecessary as I could've just left the store so my brother could make his LEGAL purchase. This was a hasty generalization of young individuals and it's ugly. There's other shops to get alcohol at, so don't ruin your day by coming here. read more

I have been here three times and every experience I have had here left me feeling absolutely enraged. Not ONCE was I greeted when I entered the store, and I stood on the Scotch aisle for about 5 minutes while three employees stood at the front of the store twiddling their thumbs. I looked at them, and they looked at me. No communication or care for their customers whatsoever. Every single time I have needed help here I have had to ask for it. In my previous experiences at the location in Temecula on Winchester, I have always been greeted when I walk through the door, and I am ALWAYS asked by an employee if I need help finding anything within the first couple of minutes of being on the floor. Also, the beers I want are never in the Murrieta store's cooler. Always warm, and the last time I went there I spoke with a rude employee that knew nothing about the product I was looking for. A Coconut Porter, but I had forgotten the name of the company. I even told him it was in a can, and he had a look on his face like he was trying to unlock a safe, and was beyond unhelpful. Bottom line, I will never go back to this location. They don't give a shit about their customers. read more

I will never go back to this location. I went in with my mom and we were followed around the store by one of the workers (he has a man bun, don't know his name). My mom and I felt very uncomfortable as he was listening to all of our conversations and in every aisle we were in trying to look busy. Keep in mind I was just walking with my mom and keeping her company. When she went to check out the same man bun guy was VERY rude and stated that I needed to show ID as well. I didn't have my purse and I let him know that. He began to talk down to my mom and I and said he didn't care and couldn't sell alcohol to my mom who was buying it. There were no signs anywhere stating ID is required for EVERY person who walks through the door. Moral of the story, man bun guy would not sell to my mom because I didn't bring my purse into the store. He was very disrespectful and I felt very uncomfortable being in that store. We went to the Temecula location and it was awesome!! Employees were super sweet and guess what , only carded my mom because she was the one paying. DO NOT GO TO THE MURRIETA LOCATION. read more

Came in here last Friday to pick up a keg that my mom ordered over the phone. Joe was very helpful in getting the keg out to my car and helping me with the rest of my order. We ordered a keg last summer from them for our wedding without issue as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful here. read more

For those that haven't partook in the joyous occasion of creeping through aisle upon aisle of imported beers, liquor, and wine from around the world, my deepest apologies! Think of it as a Wal-Mart of booze. I love going to this place while visiting the family down south.. with selections ranging from your typical bud light to a 12% alcohol rated imported beer from countries I cant even begin to pronounce. I backed off on the 5th star due to the fact that they don't regularly stock my favorites from some microbreweries back home.... and did i mention, beer tasting nights! read more

David and Oscar were so great! I was looking for a Ginger beer and David walked me over to several selections and offered up what knowledge he had on the brands. This location was very clean and well stocked. The staff gave great customer service. Not only did they answer the billion and one questions I asked, they took me to each area and showed me the item. The staff even explained that this location has weekly tastings. The person I spoke with just could not remember the times and directed to the internet. It was a pleasant experience and I recommend this location. read more

I was assigned a project at work to track down 30 bottles of Johnnie Walker and get them to a winery in Temecula. I work in LA, and this project became super complicated. Rena and Derick at this store managed to pull together the bottles I needed, when I needed them, and helped me get everything set up for pick up. Their communication was excellent, and they tolerated all my phone calls and silly questions. It's rare to get excellent customer service these days, so I really appreciated all the help! read more

Yeah! Who doesn't love BevMo? OK, this is not a good place to hold an AA meeting or break up with your significant other. However, if you're looking for something with an alcohol volume of greater that 1% this is the place. OK, they don't have NyQuil but everything else with alcohol is at your fingertips. The wine selection is as big as Napa Valley, the beer section has everything but Duff from the Simpson's (as of last Saturday), the hard liquor section is a fraternity's Disneyland, and to top it off they have cigars, caviar, cheeses, bar ware, and more. I usually go to the location up in Cajalco Crossings near Corona, but BevMo does such a great job at staffing all of its stores. Knowledgable employees abound. My only knock is that most stores seem to have a heavier ratio of wine and beer and less on hard spirits. I'm still trying to figure out how they determine what booze to put under lock and key. Also wish that the BevMo card gave you something more than just 5% off your purchases. Ah the many mysteries of life! read more

This is my go to store, a clean and full store. I love the craft beer section, they always have what I want or if I what to try new things this is the place. I've been to a lot of Bev Mos and this one is the cleanest, which is nice. I was looking for a new Stone beer and Dana helped me out and gave me ideas for some Food pairing to go with the beer, AWESOME. Just went into this location, which I have gone to tons of times with out any problems, this time the check out lady was rude. I walked in with my husband and had help from a worker getting a bottle of alcohol out of the locked cabinet then the worker took the bottle to the register for us to check out. When we got to the register the lady then told us both of us had to be ID when I was the one making the purchase. I have always been told that as long as the other person doesn't touch the alcohol then they don't have to show their ID. We would have had no problem showing his if he had it with him which he didn't bring his wallet. I have been to the store multiple times and never has any person who hasn't touched the alcohol being purchased had to show their ID. I understand that we don't want to sell alcohol to underage kids but me and my husband are clearly of age in our mid 30s and have never once had a issue at this store. Needles to say they lost a loyal customer. I'm only giving them one star because you have to rate them something. read more
