Selection is awesome for beer, wine and liquor but pricey. I come here only when I know I can only find certain products at BevMo. Other than that, Trader J's is better and cheaper when it comes to buying imported beers. If you want a bottle or a bottle gift box for a special occasion this is the place. read more

This Bevmo is spacious and has a good selection like most other Bevmos. It is located right off the 55 making it easy to get to and can lead to some fun at triangle square when you're done! I went in once for a quick little look around and ended up at a wine tasting and beer tasting event it was awesome! read more

This place has two restrooms and won't allow thier patrons to use them. They actually has the balls to lie and say they didn't have one. I thought it was against the law to run a business and not provide a bathroom. When I asked where they go to the bathroom they admitted they had one in the building but it was for them only. huge selection of liquor! Since I'm your typical asian that likes to drink Hennessy, this would not be your place for it since we can find it cheaper elsewhere. However, this place is convenient enough for me since I have a friend that lives in the Newport Beach area and we love mixing drinks like moscow mules so this would be the place to find everything you need. Store is neatly organized and labeled so it may seem overwhelming at first but you'll find what you're looking for. Besides World Market, this Bevmo location carries my favorite ginger beer in the fridge so its nice and chill for me! read more

I will never go back here. The manager has a hard on for the weekend wine tasting and has stalked and fired two wine tasting hosts. I think he has size issues and wants to be the big man. I was wondering around using an app to check different wines when one of their employees came over and offered his assistance. I told him the type of wines I was looking for and he walked me all around the store recommending different wines and pointing out ones that were on the buy one get a second for 5 cents sale. seems bigger than the one in huntington, but that's still my homestore. this one was nothing special. no one asked if i was finding everything okay, which is fine by me. but i DID find a huge ass 1500ml bottle of duvel. HELL YEAH. there was a big spill over by the soda wall that no one had bothered to clean up. maybe i should have said something. lol nah. the girl that rang me up couldn't find it in the system (word up) so i occupied myself checking out the tiny bottles of patron and grand marnier. in a minute, she had the price onscreen and sheepishly asked me "...is that all for you?" girl, i'm not THAT ambitious. personable employees, seems to have slightly more stuff than the hb store. i wouldn't be adverse to trying this place out again if i'm at that end of harbor. read more

When I walk in the store I feel like a kid in a candy store. Huge selection of Irish whiskeys and bourbons which is what I came looking for so I was happy. Big selection of imported beers you won't find at most places. The help is kind of crappy... I couldn't find what I was looking for and had to walk up to the checker to ask her. The staff is always so helpful here. I love the $.05 wine sale. I stock up each and every time. They have great recommendations and I love that it's a "one stop shop" type of place. You can find good prices at Bevmo. I was trying to find Dr. Loosen's Riesling and I heard they have it at Bevmo. Unfortunately, they only have the version with Ch Ste Michelle, Eroica. I guess you can only buy the original one online. I was so disappointed. read more

Bevmo has a decent selection of beers and spirits, but the prices aren't that great. Perhaps, alcohol prices in general are higher than they should be. The staff is friendly enough and the store is pretty well organized and it is easy to find what you are looking for. $45 for one six pack, two pints and two singles seems a bit excessive, especially for beer. I'm sure there are other places that have better prices, but since I rarely purchase alcohol anymore, I'm no longer aware of such retailers. read more

Good stuff. They always got good deals, look out for that buy one get second for a nickel deal for wines. They pretty much got everything including cigars and accessories. I come here 90% of my alcohol runs. The only problem I have with this is that it closes at 9PM, sometimes things just get too last minute so I hit up another store. read more

If you like wine they have an okay selection, but where you really get an awesome deal is the buy a bottle and get an identical bottle for 5 cent. This sale is not all the time, but is often enough to always get good wines for a good price. read more

This is a pretty much a standard bevmo. It's an average size with a little bit smaller quantity of choices to pick from. The only beef that I have anywhere else in California this place closes at 10 o'clock but the ones in orange county close at 9 PM. read more

I normally love BevMo, but I suggest you CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE date before making your purchase! I bought some beer at this location that was expired in January of 2010. (over a year ago) When I called to ask how often they check expiration dates on their items on the shelf, the guy who answers the phone says "What brand is it?" Full Sail Pale Ale. "Oh, the Full Sail guys usually check their own beer. We don't check it, they do." Makes me wonder if they even check their stuff at all. Like... do they only check some of it? and hope that someone else is checking the rest? :| read more

I'm writing this hoping to help the management and team of BevMo, my complaints have absolutely nothing to do with BevMo or their employees, it's purely the amount of homeless people lingering around the store and this center which is of course of no-fault to BevMo. If you get enough of these yelp reviews maybe you can take them to your landlord and show them that you are losing business because they are not controlling the homeless population in their center. I don't know what the answer is, I know the park behind this center is full of homeless people, I feel terrible for people that are in this situation, but when I'm out shopping I don't want to smell that offensive smell that most homeless people have, and I don't want people asking me for money every 10 steps, I hope they can find a peaceful solution. I will not be going back to this center for any business there until it's cleaned up. read more

Clean well stocked store with a friendly clerk but the prices aren't any better than Albertson's sales which is on going.

Not the best pricing on liquor but definitely one of the biggest selections. I go here if I am looking for something not normally carried in normal grocery chains. If pricing were lower on hard liquor bevmo would become part of the routine. read more

They have plenty of options for beer, wine, and spirits. 3.5 stars for inventory. Unfortunately, customer service from the ACTUAL store manager wasn't friendly at all. SHORT GUY IN RED SHIRT GETS ZERO STARS HERE. I think its because he's really short but he seems like he has a short fuse ALL THE TIME. I have made multiple attempts to get there before they close, and he closes his store early!!!! I look to see who's around inside sometimes, but he on multiple occasions have closed up more than 6 minutes in advance. There are others that work there that definitely deserve praise so that's 1 star, but one manager is such an @$$ he ruins for everyone. I don't even think anyone else likes him either. Prices are terrible. Before my flight, I picked up a few mini bottles and noticed 3 to 4 dollar difference with wines at Von's. Pass on prices. Oh well, live and learn. I tried to keep an open mind, but hopefully they get better. read more
