I cannot believe how blessed I was to locate this florist at the last minute. My daughter was giving birth at a local hospital, and I wanted to have a nursery baby booty vase I received 37 year's ago from my daughter's grandmother, refilled to give her upon arrival of her daughter. The florist did an amazing job! I took the booty vase into her and she created a beautiful arrangement with a heart shaped balloon. Before I get started on our story, I want to say that working with Bevess Floral was amazing and their flowers were incredible! I got married on Sept. 28 and met with Bertha in April. My husband and I wanted "tropical" flowers for our wedding since we love visiting Costa Rica but we knew it was going to be super expensive. We got married in Gualala and asked a florist there what she could do for tropical flowers: she quoted us 10k for bud vases (omg). We did not go with that individual. When I typed in "tropical flowers Santa Rosa," Bevess florist popped up and so I reached out to see if they could make my vision come true. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Bertha and Tanya right away. My husband and I went to visit them in person and right away we were met with smiles and laughter. Their location is kind of a "hole in the wall" so I admit we had some reservations. But when Bertha walked out with some sample flowers, we were convinced! Now English is her second language but since we are learning Spanish, it was fun to practice! After agreeing to do work with them, Bertha gave us the sample center piece for free (what)! A few months go by and I've communicated what I am looking for: 6 center pieces, 2 pieces for the arbor, 3 cocktail pieces, 4 bouquets, 5 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages. ALL FOR A REASONABLE PRICE! They worked with our budget and I can tell you it was a LOT LESS than 10k. We were so surprised how affordable it was to get that many pieces with tropical style flowers! The flowers included: bird of paradise (heliconia), ginger, orchids, anthurium, lilies, and even roses. Just take a look at the pictures and you can see how gobsmacked I was when I first saw these beautiful pieces! We decided to pick up the flowers ourselves and bring them up the coast to Gualala so Bertha and her team were kind enough to show us how to install the arbor flowers as well as did their best to make sure they were as beautiful as the day they were put together. We picked up Friday morning for an afternoon wedding the day after. The flowers were incredible. I really can't express how amazing Bevess Florist is and how reasonably priced they are. Bertha and Tanya were great to work with, even with the language barrier, and seemed so genuinely excited to create our vision. They made our wedding so magical and it truly felt like we were in the jungles of Costa Rica. I can't recommend them highly enough. MUCHAS GRACIAS! read more

On May 2, I ordered three small arrangements in vases for $59.99 each since we were picking them up. My credit card statement shows a charge of $196.62 on May 3. (What business charges a card BEFORE services are rendered?) On May 13, Maria knew that my two staff members were going to pick up the flowers around 10 AM but she called to confirm because they were going to leave to make deliveries and NO ONE would be in the shop. When my two staff members picked up the flowers (on time), they thought that maybe I had changed the order. They had to ask for the bunches of flowers to be wrapped in plastic and Maria told them that my order wasn't paid. My staff delivered the bunches of flowers to 3 of our referring dental offices. The arrangements were to be displayed on their front desk counter but unfortunately the order wasn't correct. I contacted Bevess Floral the next day (today). Maria acknowledged her mistake. She said that she would have picked up the flowers and replace them. WHO WOULD TAKE BACK A GIFT! Maria offered me a discount on my next order but I don't plan to ever order flowers from them again. The owner, Tanya, refused to talk to me. They would not refund me my requested 50% off ($98) for getting the order wrong. Maria said that I could contact my bank to fight the $196.62 charge. read more

I ordered online from Bevess Floral for Valentine's Day flowers. I received a very pretty bouquet, but it was nothing close to what i ordered. I am attaching pictures of the online image vs what I got. I understand that there are differences from online picture to what you get, but this seems disrespectful, especially when the pickup is for the same day of Valentine's. They have an extra charge to add roses to the bouquet; being that the base arrangement looks very pretty online, I didn't do this as I don't like my flowers to be too crowded either. I could have gotten a similar bouquet from Safeway for half the price, or I would have arranged it myself. read more

Bevess Floral is pretty comparable to most flower shops in Sonoma County. It is still a very good business. The customer service was extremely attentive and friendly. The staff even accommodated my special request to take a photo and text it to me before delivering it. The website could use improvement. The website is static and clunky. It would be nice if you could see a 3D image of the flowers and if you could see what the flowers look like if you chose a "deluxe" arrangement. As it is, you do not really know what you are getting if you chose to upgrade. read more

The service is outstanding! I got an arrangement for my bæ , I got 12 dozen roses! She at first thought, holy crud, then realized how much she liked it. Like a flick of the wrist the delivery person was at my doorstep with them. He had them strapped down in his Yukon as to protect them and make sure they were safe. Our friends ordered a Holiday Table piece for us on line, Bevess Floral fulfilled the order which arrived Thursday on our door step. It was very artistically and beautifully arranged, we watered it and set in on the table. Friday morning all of the red roses in it had wilted, drooping and turning black. With some difficulty we were able to get a response from Bevess but were told that as our friend ordered it ON LINE rather than in person, there was nothing Bevess was willing to do - we were sent to work it out with the ON LINE order processor. For a LOCAL BUSINESS, I can not tell how distasteful this type of total lack of customer service makes me feel - so much for "shop local." read more

Very sad that the company did not adjust the order when they could not deliver flowers...finally after four days they brought flowers that were meant to be delivered on Friday on Monday and they looked like they had been sitting in a van for four days which if fact they had been. When I called and spoke to the owner Bertha, she said call who ever sent them to you i didn't get paid to send them (who delivers flowers without payment) WHAT?? so why would you deliver flower that you had not been paid for? I really needed to pick up a floral center piece today, and apparently all of the florists I've patronized in the past have gone out of business. I stopped here this afternoon, explained to the young woman working there what I needed, and in less than twenty minutes she put together a beautiful center piece that was exactly what I needed.
