I had posted a question on a private Facebook group that I belong to asking if anyone knew of a local Petaluma florist that did half casket sprays, that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg & would deliver to the cemetery on a Saturday as the websites I looked at for Petaluma florists either didn't provide them, only did large sprays, charged my entire bi-monthly paycheck, or were not open on Saturday's. Of course everyone kept mentioning one business but the way they would mention them made it seemed like they weren't really sure & I didn't have the time or patience to call every single florist. I did leave a message on the answering machine of Petaluma Floral before posting my question but it was after hours. Well Beth, who is the owner of Petaluma Floral, commented on my post that she could do it. But she took it a step further and posted a picture of one that she had just made & included her phone number. I called the next morning & she took the design she created for someone else and added yellow tulips as tulips were my brother's favorite flower plus I wanted yellow to light yellow since it was for his funeral. Let me tell you the price was right, and the arrangement & colors were exactly what I wanted! She was able to get me in her schedule since it only gave her 8 days to create it and she delivered them herself the morning of the funeral. Talk about excellent customer service!! I wish I would've gotten a better picture of this special arrangement but unfortunately the tent cast a shadow over them. They were beautiful! Beth and the team have always put together beautiful arrangements for me and I appreciate how communicative they've been on the day of delivery. I've ordered from Petaluma Floral multiple times over the course of about a year now for special occasions, and these have been consistently some of the best arrangements I've ordered in my life. Each one has been a little different, but still maintain the same general look/feel per my preferences. I may have been a little lucky, but the bouquets always seem to last longer in the vase than some of the flowers I get from grocery stores too. I've only ordered online, but as another reviewer mentions, I get the sense that this floral arrangement company caters to making arrangements for specific types of events. That is, when you order an arrangement on their website, you can input your preferences and the general look and feel you'd like out of your arrangement and they'll design the arrangement to spec. You can preorder in advance of the date you'd like them to deliver. They have mostly been on-time with their deliveries (you can specify if you have a preferred time frame of delivery on a specific day), but have been communicative with me if the flowers need to be delivered in a different time frame (e.g., when they're really busy trying to get out an order for a large event like a wedding). Note that their website specifies that they only deliver in Petaluma. Overall, I would highly recommend Petaluma Floral. read more

I requested white, cream and green for the colors and name a budget. What I received fit perfectly within the parameters of my request and my friend loved the arrangement. I have bought flowers from this place two or three times and I'm always very happy with them. They have a lot of flowers that give that wildflower bouquet look, or cottage garden- whatever that not-so-manicured look is that I love- and they always last a long time. I usually get small, inexpensive bouquets and I never feel like I'm being upsold or anything, either. This store also has a small selection of Petaluma themed souvenirs (tea towels, etc) so if you're looking to pick up something cute while you're visiting they might be able to help in that way, too. Easy parking. Super nice. Lots of the flowers are local. What's not to love? EDIT: I want to add that in my many many years of ordering flowers, I've always had the best results when I call the store directly, or email them, and ask what's in season or what they have rather than just ordering based off of photos. You get a lot more bang for your buck, though for those of us with anxiety about calling and chatting it's not as convenient. Those FTD online order type places don't take seasons into account as often as not. read more

I ordered "How Sweet It Is" bouquet from fromyouflowers.com the week prior to my delivery date. I ordered the "Premium" bouquet which is the largest size offered. Below is a picture of what I ordered vs what I got. The bouquet received had maybe 3 big roses and 3 small roses and is filled with filler leaves, Lillies and carnations. Colors and flower types are not even the same. I understand substitutions are allowed but this is just unreasonably different and smaller/lower in quality. This bouquet is listed at $59.99 on the website. Upon seeing the flowers, I called customer service to complain and ask for a refund. They granted my request. However, they did not mention needing to return the flowers. Now the person I sent the flowers to just called me and told me the florist came to their house and took back the flowers. They did not tell me this would happen when I talked to customer service. This is the worst and most unprofessional service I have experienced. This is not a company I would trust with sending anyone you know a gift. read more

I had a little bit of a hard time finding the location but just a hint take the first right one you turn off of Lakeville. First off the shop is absolutely adorable when you walk in and the location just gives it a relaxing vibe. I called last minute asking for a lei for my cousins graduation. Unfortunately she didn't have a white one like I wanted. I called 3 minutes before she was closing, she answered the phone and was willing to step outside the box n make a white lei with carnations and she added a little extra by tiring a green ribbon between the flowers. I work nearby, so I picked up some adorable little plants in ceramic pots that were so cute and very reasonably priced. My office had them make centerpieces for a dinner -- must have been 10 or so tables. They were stunning!
