I have been going here for a few years and wouldn't go anywhere else. The owner is extremely nice, polite, thorough, and efficient. He goes out of his way to explain everything to you. There is a great website where you can schedule online, which is so helpful. Today I took in a used BMW I had purchased out of state and he did a thorough inspection of the car for me. Thank you! read more

My daughter arrived there today at 6:10pm. She saw a guy in front of the smog place. She asked him if this is where they do a smog check and he said no in a very rude way. She said oh ok I must be at the wrong place. Another man starts walking up to that guy and they're talking to each other. They're looking at my daughter as they talk and start laughing. My daughter felt very uncomfortable with this interaction. I suppose they're lazy and didn't want to do another smog check. If they don't want to work after 6 then close the place at 6pm and update your hours on yelp. It was two Armenian guys. I guess they don't want our business. To make it clear it was the smog check place and people not the business next door. read more

Person was rude and said no one was there to give a smog check and I have to call them. He said he wouldn't call them and told me to turn off my car and then leave? Not sure what was happening. I think the guy was like going through something or definitely high or just completely disconnected from reality at that moment. read more

Beverly Smog Check ctr is a great place to bring your vehicle for testing. Service is fast and convenient. Vic, smog staff, is professional, straight fwd, and friendly. He gives you the price on the spot and send an electronic copy of your smog result to the dmv. Price is reasonable and they give $10 off. However, I brought a coupon and it significantly reduced to a flat rate $40. Great deal! Best part is I passed the smog test. Overall, I had a good experience and I highly recommend this car shop. read more

My car did not pass a smog check the first time when I brought it at another place because the OBDII monitors are not ready. I was told to drive it for a week in the freeway but I have no time for that because I'm busy at work. I searched the Internet to look for who can help me with this and I found Beverly Smog Check. I made an appointment and Abraham was so friendly and helpful and took my car for a "drive cycle. " On that same day, the OBDII monitor was ready and my car passed the smog check! If you need a smog, seriously look no further! Abraham is the brains at Beverly Smog and knows cars. We usually take our car to the brother location Hollywood Smog on Wilton but we were having issues with resetting our system (Battery was recently changed) so Tommy told us to go to his other location and see Abraham to reset it. Headed down and remembered Abraham working at the other location and he took great care of us. Took the car for about an hour and returned it ready to pass smog. HIGHLY recommend Beverly Smog and Hollywood Smog. read more
