As a Vegas native who also went to Clark County School District schools growing up, despite what everyone says about the ratings, I am proud to let my kids be part of CCSD. There are so many incredible teachers, staff members, and schools that truly care about the children and families they serve. One of our favorite parts every year is their annual multicultural event. It is always so well organized, fun, and meaningful. We love seeing all of the different cultures, performances, food, and activities that bring the families and community together. It is such a beautiful way to celebrate diversity and make every child feel included and proud of who they are. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff for everything you do for the students and families. We are so grateful to be part of such an amazing school community!

I Went to one of the CCSD Dream meetings and spoke to Joan who pawned me off one someone else and that person said they would take care of the situation and make sure students are only having 20 minutes a day. 20 minutes of iPad is too much for a kid. Hell anytime on iPad is. That's why Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg kept their kids away from an iPad and phone - they destroy minds! That school also only gives 15 minutes of recess!

They welcomed my daughter who has some developmental delays and went above and beyond to make the classroom, fun and educational. I love that the school allows parents to be involved and volunteer. My child received death threats from other students and has attempted to push off other students, and yet gets punishment. My child doesn't feel they are able to speak up, and feels discriminated. "Mommy, why am I the only one getting in trouble?". A child should not feel this way at a place of learning and what is deemed as "safe". I am not the only parent who feels this way as I have asked others about their impression of Tony Alamo. My child did not dislike attending school until we ended up with this one UNFORTUNATELY. We are happy with the school and staff. Coming from the over-crowded, over-stretched public school system, we are relieved to see our children accepted and not just doing well, but thriving. The upper campus kids especially love the block scheduling, as they are able to truly get some valuable class time in each subject. The homework is a perfect blend of rehashing the days learning and getting prepared for the exams. The teachers actually get to know the kids since class size is never a problem. My 4th grader loves his teacher, and with that comes respect and a desire to be the best student he can become. And being a Christian school, the true focus is on a rounded and grounded Cristian education. As with all schools, there are mistakes that have been made, and there are the occasional small problem. But the difference is that the staff and leadership truly will try to correct them. A parent is always welcome to speak with any of the staff, and the superintendent holds monthly meetings where anyone can come and voice concern or praise. What more could a parent want?

They let cars speed off, especially on the second lane while your child is trying to get in the car.. they once called my daughter into the office to ask if they can look at her phone if a teacher is texting her... They did not even check with the parents... my daughter said they ask weird and unfair questions and ask her to swear to secrecy.. well when she got home, she told me, but it happened and said that the questions were really unfair and that they are trying to set up a teacher and get him in trouble... what the school can improve on is to respect both parents and kids safety... The fourth coming and honest... Did not get that at all throughout the year while many teachers are getting fired or leaving...
