I had a sudden issue with my 2016 BMW 428i, and since I didn't know any mechanics in the area, I spent a bit of time reading reviews because I wanted someone I could trust. I'm so glad I found Avi. He told me to bring my car in within 30 minutes of my call, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had my car repaired by the very next day. What impressed me most was his honesty. He could have easily recommended unnecessary repairs, but instead he went out of his way to save me money by only fixing what actually needed to be fixed. I believe that level of integrity is hard to find nowadays. Avi is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about his customers. If you're looking for an honest, reliable mechanic who does quality work at a fair price, I highly recommend him. read more

Avi is the best in town. If you care about your car, then you will go to him. He is a wizard with the cars

If you're looking for a reliable honest mechanic, Avi is your guy. After I had my transmission replaced (from another transmission shop), my check engine light came on. When I had Avi take a look, he made sure that the prior transmission guy didn't mess anything up. After he confirmed it's another issue, he reset my codes and had me come back to narrow the problem. Avi mentioned instead of throwing money randomly at problems, let's isolate it and fix the actual issue at hand. After a few back and forths, Avi narrowed it down to a failed pump. He initially bought me a cheaper pump for value (trying to save me money), but after that one ended up being a dud, Avi bought a new one that cost more and now my car is running smoothly and did not charge me for the first failed pump. I appreciate his approach, his honesty, and he really isn't out to price gauge you on anything. I really recommend Avi and his team if you're having car issues! read more

Highly recommend this shop! The owner is super kind, knowledgeable, and very honest, which is hard to come by. I called him with an issue, came by shortly after, and he took me in right away and gave his honest opinion. You won't be disappointed coming here, thanks again! read more

I stopped by this shop to ask about a basic inspection and preventive maintenance for my Mercedes. I was not looking for immediate repairs, just general information and to potentially schedule future service since the location is very convenient for me. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing. The person I spoke with, who appeared to be in charge, seemed uninterested and brushed me off mid conversation, walking away before I could finish asking my questions. I understand shops get busy or may be fully booked, but a simple explanation or being asked to schedule an appointment would have been appreciated. Even a brief, respectful response would have made a big difference. I am sharing this as feedback because first impressions matter, especially for customers looking to build a long term service relationship read more

These guys SAVED me when my car wouldn't start and key fob didn't work. Absolutely NICEST people ever. Avi and Nina. Love them. Our new favorite car place. I usually post reviews just on Google, but posting here, too, because they're new and should be discovered. (But not so discovered I can't get an appointment. Lol.) read more

I cannot say enough about Beverly Hills Autowerks! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. It is extremely difficult to find such an honest and knowledgeable mechanic these days. Avi is passionate, and made what could have been major work, flow seamlessly. When you hear your axle is cracked, you have multiple leaks, and the ball joints are bad, you panic, but Avi and his team gave me complete confidence the job would be done right. His communication through pictures, text, emails, and phone calls is top notch. My old 2014 is running smoother than it did when we first got it. Do yourself a favor and make this place your go-to mechanic shop for life. You will not be disappointed. read more

Avi is amazing. Honest, professional, deep knowledge, and has the customer in mind all the way from hello to thank you for your business. A true diamond in the rough of LA auto repair shops. As long as I'm in LA, this is my shop!! read more

This service is great. The mechanic and business worked extra hard to save me money to avoid having to change a radiator on my 2018Q5, which would be costly. Avi and Joseph are honest and Avi can do things probably few others can with fixing a vehicle, and saving the customer, me, money. I have bringing my car there for about 3 years, and always had positive experiences. read more

Avi is an absolute life saver! My car broke down in the parking garage at my doctor's office and the AAA tech identified that the starter had gone bad. I called around several nearby car repair shops and nearly everyone was unresponsive, had long wait times, or were unwilling to give me a quote. Luckily, I got in touch with Avi who was incredibly helpful and was kindly willing to order the part I needed before I even arrived via the tow truck. Once we got there, he promptly ran diagnostics to confirm the issue and got started right away on swapping out the starter. He didn't over-charge me (it was a very fair price and significantly lower than other places) and honored the quote he gave me on the phone. Avi helped make what was a really frustrating day much less awful...he went above and beyond to quickly help me so that I wasn't stranded too long. I highly recommend this shop! read more

My oil light went on yesterday, while I was in the neighborhood of Beverly Hills Autowerks. I don't live anywhere near there. I called on a whim hoping for an oil top off. They helped me immediately! Within 10 minutes of calling, my car was on their lot and the my hood was open. Avi went above and beyond- he wrote down exactly what type of oil my car needed and the volume. He heard my exhaust and told me the issue is my exhaust has a leak. So in all, he assessed my car and gave me so much advice all while topping off my oil. My entire stay there was maybe 20 minutes. When I asked him how much I owe him he said nothing, to have a nice day. I can't tell you how much that made my day! It's the little things like that! I am definitely a loyalist now! read more

I needed a mechanic for my Mercedes slk 280 since I thought my transmission was failing and felt there were other things wrong . My old mechanic said he doesn't fix transmissions and he didn't think anything else was wrong and told me to take it to Mercedes for transmission problems. Thank goodness Mercedes wouldn't be able to help me for quite a while and i knew they would charge me more so I went on yelp and looked for someone near me and i read the reviews and hoped they were true . Avi and Joseph took care of me right away and worked around my schedule and were happy to give me rides back and forth since im not far away . Avi found many things that were wrong since my old mechanic for years didn't address them . I had a bad experience with another mechanic years ago and so I'm just so leery of going anywhere and my friends use the dealerships . My car is 2008 and not that many miles and I told Avi i love my car and do not want to get another one. My car now runs well now and he couldn't find a problem with transmission and he thought he knew but not sure so wouldn't have me waste the money and as it turns out the car runs better and I haven't had the problem with transmission .Even tough it was a big job it could of been more to fix transmission . I feel i can stop and see them any time and i will be taken care and i'll feel that what Avi tells me will be the truth . They fix all types of cars and when I saw the Ferraris etc on the lot it was comforting that they know what they are doing . read more

I wish I could give these men more stars. They deserve every one for their honestly, compassion and efficiency. Here's what occurred in my visit: I just birthed a child and walked out to my car after a doctor visit nearby only to find my car displaying tire pressure extremely low. I just had my car serviced elsewhere a couple days before so I just thought it was my sensor. The tire didn't look low. I called Beverly Hills Autowerks to ask about checking my tire pressure. They were quick to answer the phone and told me to come right in. I showed up and even as I was driving in, one of the techs could tell which tire it was low! It was the same one displaying low tire pressure. They immediately they took my tire pressure, they found the leak (you could clearly see where it was coming from) and fixed it so efficiently leaving me to be able to drive back home to San Diego safely. I can't say enough about these honest guys who actually care about their customers rather than a dollar. Once they charged me, it was so reasonable compared to what I could've been facing elsewhere and I left feeling well taken care. I recommend this place over and over to anyone considering getting their vehicle serviced elsewhere. This is your place and these are your guys hands down!! I could not have asked for a better business to take care of my family and me at such a vulnerable time in our lives. read more
