Responded quickly and at a fair price. Techs were very nice. This is my second time to use them and I will use them again.

I will try to keep this brief, but I just cannot say enough good things about this company, the…read moreowner Barry, and the craftsman Jose that they sent to our house (who is Italian/South American and speaks perfect English). We are renting a house, and my husband recently threw a rock (with the lawn mower), at the side door which has a large, wood-latticed window in it and cracked it to pieces. To replace the door would have cost $1800, so I went in search of someone who could replace the double-paned window on Facebook. Glass Doctor had the highest reviews, so I sent a message not really expecting to hear back soon because it was late in the evening on a weekend. However, Barry responded to my inquiry almost immediately and we set up a time for him to come out and look at it. He came out the following Monday and was himself so joyful and sweet. He surveyed the damage and assessed the ability to replace the window and determined that it could be done. We were forewarned that it would be costly and difficult (which it was, but still cheaper than a new door). He ordered the window, which took about two weeks to come in, then scheduled a time for Jose to come out and fix it. Jose came to the house perfectly within the time frame given, and wearing a mask as I requested. He immediately got to work and, bless him, although he was sweltering in the summer heat he didn't even take a break. He was so very pleasant and polite and struck up a conversation with my husband about Italy and my husband even got to practice a little of his Italian. Bottom line, Jose essentially REBUILT the wood lattice on the door and reinstalled the window so well that you can not even tell anything ever happened. I'm beyond impressed by the professionalism, kindness and attentiveness of everyone with whom I dealt at Glass Doctor of Memphis and I can not recommend them highly enough. If you need complicated (or uncomplicated) glass work done, call Barry and ask for Jose!

This has been a nightmare! In August, they came and measured…read moremy storm door to replace the glass. They required a deposit ($330) to do the job. I charged it to my credit card, however I never received a receipt or copy of the quote. Ten days later, after requesting this 4 times to their ai assistant, I was told the glass would be delivered soon. They finally came out, but the glass had not been measured properly. Never heard back until 3 weeks later. Now, they're telling me it's been delayed because they entered my order incorrectly. It's now October, and still no delivery!

On Wednesday we got a call asking if we would be home at the time scheduled, which we said yes. Thursday three o'clock the person wasn't there. About 10 after my wife called and they said they were running behind (could have given us a courtesy call to let us know) , technician call with an attitude saying he was three minutes out. When he got there my wife had some new shoe covers she asked him to put on, as we do with anyone who comes to our home for estimates or to do work and they do with no questions asked. Technician said he had his own which he did, but he had been using the same ones all day, so my wife again asked if he would use the new ones, he refused and asked if it was a safety issue, my wife said no, but if he was not comfortable with the request maybe he should leave, so he said he felt uncomfortable and left. My wife called the office to speak to a supervisor and he answered the phone. I asked to speak with him to ask him what was the issue of using our shoe covers, and he said that well maybe we thought his pants or shirt might not be clean so he felt it would be better that he leave. I explained that people come to our home to do work and while doing the work their pants or shirt may get sweaty or dirty and that was not an issue, its just that walking around on different surfaces with your shoes you don't know what you're picking up on your feet, but if that's how you feel well ok. Others may have had good experiences with them, but we could not even get an estimate, I would not recommend them to anyone.
