I just recently had a deck built in my backyard by Renew It Fence and Deck…read more Overall I would say Bob was very professional and gave a very competitive quote. Unfortunately I can't say the deck itself fully meets my high standards. Even though I had the crew come back and correct several obvious issues, I continue to find quality issues the more time me and my family spend on it. My deck is composite and there are areas where the decking was not secured well by the interlocking system. They are too far apart so the decking tries to pop out from time to time. There are parts of the deck that are uneven, and the railing isn't consistently spaced out evenly. This is on top of the many issues I have already had corrected. Don't get me wrong, I feel the deck is solid, but there are quite a few mistakes or issues that I would think an experience builder wouldn't have made. Also, this deck should have take no more than a week to build, although rain played slight factor, this build took 4 weeks. Only a couple of hours of work most days will cause that. Best of luck to Bob in the future, but I believe this will be my last build with Renew It Fence and Deck.

After being in our home for over 20 years we decided to bite the bullet and get a fence. We have an…read moreadult dog and a puppy and wanted to be able to put them outside without worrying about them leaving the yard. Three or four years ago we converted our deck to a patio and ended up with two sets of stairs that needed handrails. We had Pickle install some handrails and we were very happy with them then. So they were one of a couple of companies we contacted for an estimate. Pickle Iron was the most competitive. Mel in the office and John overseeing all the projects are both great and easy to work with. We were not exactly sure what style we wanted so we looked at the options on their website. I had a friend show me pictures of his fence, I texted it to Mel and they said they can make pretty much anything you want if it is wrought iron. The guys showed up and pretty much knocked it out in two days. Very happy with it, their attention to detail is amazing. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a wrought iron fence.

I called Bluff City Fence for an estimate in repairing a portion of my wood fence that had fallen…read moredown during the recent major storm. I already had two estimates from two other companies. One estimate to repair the fence was for $750.00 and the other estimate was for $800.00. Bluff City was the third company. They came out quickly and emailed me the estimate. Their estimate to repair the fence was for $2,157.00. They we're almost three times as expensive. I knew it would be higher because the other two estimates were from men who worked for themselves and not a larger company as Bluff City Fence. However i was shocked that their estimate was so much higher. Although the estimate was much higher it still did not persuade me from using their service. However what did dissuade me from using their service was when I called their office to check on how long they would give to pay the remainder of the bill after the down payment which was almost half the bill I was expecting the business standard of between 30 to 45 days. The woman I spoke to needed to know if I represented a corporate account or a residential account before she answered. When I told her residential she hesitated for a bit and said two weeks. Wow! Only two weeks to resolve the bill In full. Ok then.. so I decided not to use their services. If you get paid once a month like I do it would be helpful to be on a monthly plan.
