I recently graduated from SDSU and had been on the full-time job hunt for a couple months with minimal results. I was employed with a start-up watch company at the time, but I knew that I was temporary and I needed to get some real skills and experience for the future. I consider myself ambitious and being fresh out of school, I didn't want to see myself settle. I was applying for a few entry level sales positions, but I didn't have any real idea of what I was doing. Luckily I was put in contact with Lauren Stempel at Betts Recruiting and she helped me get to where I wanted to be. After a brief half-hour conversation, Lauren got a good understanding of who I was, what my interest and aspirations were, and where I could see myself in the future. After this, she worked her magic and I was interviewing with tech companies immediately. I felt only genuine care the whole time and I can't thank her enough for all that she did throughout the process. She would call before every interview, prep me for it, and would be the first person to call after to see how it went. She put me in touch with her awesome coworker, Holly, when she was out of the office for a week. Even when she was gone, her phone was still available if I ever needed anything. It was evident that she was more than willing to go the extra-mile for me! She was there to help from the initial point of contact all the way to signing my first official offer to work for an awesome tech company working as a BDR. I couldn't have done it without Lauren and Betts, and I cannot thank them both enough for all that they have done for me. I highly recommend anyone that was is serious about finding a position, don't waste any more time and contact Betts. read more
