I joined a group of neighbors to have our ducts cleaned by Paramount and unfortunately this was not…read morea great experience for us. While I think they did a pretty good job with the actual duct work (although no before/after pics so who knows?) they left a mess behind and after 2 weeks of correspondence with their owner she couldn't admit they did anything wrong and offered no real solution. First the good: Easy to set appointment up, guys showed up on time and completed the work in the time they said it would take. The bad: the guys came in the house with no foot booties on, covered in green spray paint (from painting dumpsters?), and left green marks in several spots on ceilings, walls, and vents, tracked the hose in several spots on my carpet, and left metal shavings near the unit where the hole was cut for service. After we called to voice our concern they did send the crew out the next day to address those, and to their credit the guys were apologetic and did make an effort to clean . However the carpet still has marks and there are several ceiling spots that will need to be touched up with paint. The major complaint was with the vent removal, where they pulled several lines of paint along with those vents from not cutting them first. In some spots the drywall came up with that paint. After we sent pictures to the owner she assured us it was caulk and not their problem. She never recommends caulk to customers however that was the solution to fix our problem, rather than offering a small discount off the $500+ we spent on the job. Luckily for my neighbors we went first and complained immediately as none of them had the same issues of careless vent removal or sloppy work in general. We are in a new build neighborhood where all of these houses were finished about the same time by the same foreman, and 2 of the other houses had used the same painter we did. If that wasn't the case I may have bought in to the owner claiming it was my builders fault, or the painter, but I don't think we have the special house here. While not a huge deal it is frustrating that I will now have to spend my free time patching drywall and repainting several walls/colors and hope I can match with the 2 yr old paint.

This company's owners are full of themselves. I can go on and on about the things they have lied about and made harder for us. 1. Came in being cussing him very pushy to complete our entire project 2. Only worked 2 1/2 days in three weeks after a house fire letting them rest of our house that was saved to get moldy. We decided we wanted them to stop work so we can go with a company that cared 3. One of the owners Carter loar called my husband cussing him, calling him a bid jumper and saying it was our fault our house was moldy because we supposed to get a generator in there since we didn't have power. Which we thought fell on the company that was supposed to come in and demo the part of the house that was ruined. Proceeds to hang up the phone and when my husband called back he acted like he never cussed my husband and begged for a second chance. Fast forward 2 years to trying to get our belongings back from them that they packed out. It took us 3 months to get our stuff back from the first time they were contacted that we were back in our house. They blamed it on the insurance company which it wasn't. And as of today we still don't have our clothes back because they won't pay the 3rd party company the outstanding invoice! So here we are 2.5 years later and don't have the chapter of our house fire closed because of them! -100stars! I have so much more to the story but I think y'all will get the point through this!

I am so thankful this was the reference I got because I cannot be any happier with their service. A definite 5-star! The "Mitigation" team arrived promptly and have done an excellent job throughout - extremely professional, thorough in their work and I particularly like the consistent follow-ups & heads-up... and keeping me informed along the way on what they are doing and their next steps.

They let us know they figured this out the week before but didn't bother to tell us. Then it took them another three weeks to get the rest of the flooring. It's laughable that they claim my husband and I were misaligned. We were not, it's another lie and attempt to avoid accountability. It's also funny that they are pretending the owners care because I called corporate and the owners were supposed to call us and never bothered. Basically this company avoids talking to you so they can lie about what happened. They then did damage and said things were broken before and they would send pictures to prove it. We never received the pictures and all the sudden they agreed to fix it. Incompetent liars.

The emergency plumber we called and the drying company he recommended were fantastic. The drying company recommended ODSC, who also happened to work with our insurance company, so we figured it would be a safe bet. We were wrong. The job actually started off pretty smoothly. C came by after the dryers were taken away, and we got an estimate and contract within a reasonable timeframe. But then we didn't hear anything for almost three weeks after we dropped off the contract to the office, and I finally had to call C to figure out who our project manager would be. B, the project manager, waited another few days to contact me. The difficulties in communicating turned out to be the root of most of the problems. If I sent an email or a text, many times it would take days or weeks to get a response, if I got one at all. Sometimes the answers consisted only of things that were vague and/or untrue. C and B also didn't seem to talk much to each other. For instance, we wanted to change our flooring, and C said it would actually cost less money, but when B gave us an estimate, it was more than the original cost. We asked C about it and then B came back and said it actually would be less. Poor communication would be one thing if the work were stellar, but it was the opposite. B would schedule a crew to come in for a day and then not schedule them again for 2 weeks, or sometimes B and/or the crew would come over without telling us they would be there (one day I only knew B had been there because he had left a light on). The crew damaged some of our furniture and household items through abject carelessness (we're still cleaning up errant paint splatters), and they left trash behind in the house and in the front yard. B said he would have someone build us a bathroom vanity, and then we never heard about it again. I asked repeatedly about leveling floors on the main level before putting down vinyl plank--C was vague about it, and B swore that he would "bet [us] money" we wouldn't have to do it. Guess what. The floors needed to be leveled. They put plywood down, but they didn't use leveling compound, and then they put the vinyl plank down, so now our floors are lumpy and uneven. This project dragged on for MONTHS, and the lack of communication and the poor quality of the work were so frustrating that our insurance representative put us in touch with the company who facilitates the relationships between the insurance and the contractors, and some of their people worked as go-betweens between ODSC and my husband and me. When I complained about the floors, one of the guys from that company came over to check them out, and he declared they would need to be redone. When the work was finally "finished" B tried to wrap everything up and didn't say anything about a punch list, but I had put together a long list of items that needed to be addressed before work was truly finished. I didn't think it was my job to insist upon that, though--it seemed like they were just trying to get out of there without bringing attention to any final details in hopes we wouldn't notice. When they did come to execute the punch list, they did such a bad job that I told B I wasn't sure I wanted any of them back in my house ever again, even to fix what they'd done, but the next day they sent the A team over to correct most of the mistakes. There were still a few minor things that never were done, but at that point it was not worth it to me to insist they come back again to fix the rest. When it came to the final invoice, C gave us a cost that included the initial insurance estimate, credits for the floors and damaged items, and change orders we had made. However, as I went back over the change orders and the original estimate, I determined they were charging us more than $4000 extra for work that was not done and material allowances that were not used. Again, it shouldn't be my job to go back over all that and figure that out. C wasn't going to credit us all that money back at first because he told me things had been calculated in a way they hadn't been, and I had to send him a timeline of events based on the emails the two of us had exchanged in order to prove my case (Do they not keep records over there?). It took about six months to finish the entire job and pay for it. But the job isn't actually finished because the main level floors still need to be redone. The basement looks pretty nice, honestly, so I guess they deserve the one star. But the level of frustration and distrust I felt toward them was absolutely not worth it, and the day I saw that my final check had been deposited was a happy one, because that meant I never had to interact with any of them or let them into my house ever again.
