They acknowledged their mistake and they offered to credit me the difference or replace it with the correct one. I opted for the correct ladder to be reinstalled. 5/5 stars still remains for their communication and good install quality. Mistakes happen! Was a bit confused since I see they have locations throughout Texas. And reviews mentioned their names in different cities. But I'm in Houston and spoke with Kevin (owner) over the phone. Anthony was the installer. Maybe all the Texas locations use an alias Anthony and Kevin? Anthony was the technician that came out to replace my broken attic ladder. His install was so crisp and clean, very meticulous to detail. He did a better job than the plumber and electrician I hired. I wasn't home for the install so he had free access to my property and treated it with respect and didn't leave a messy work area for me to return to. His install quality impressed me more than the product itself, not to say that it's a bad product, not at all. But his work was that good. Kevin was the owner/sales rep and was very communicative every step of the way. Very transparent pricing and I think it was reasonable for the quality of the product, but most importantly, Anthony's installation quality. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need an old attic ladder that is sagging or broken, to be replaced.

PHP did, and they seemed the most professional. I really appreciated them contacting me on a weekend and they even responded on a Saturday and Sunday night. Two female cleaners came, and they were WONDERFUL!!! :) I was home helping, and they were a genuine joy to have over, and they even loved my dog and were so sweet to him! :) They worked hard and were also personable once they noticed that I like to get to know people if they want to open up. We actually had fun talking on and off, while they worked hard! :) Fernanda and Jackie are very good and a joy! I highly recommend them! :) The ONLY reason I have 4 stars and not 5 stars (because Fernanda and Jackie, themselves, deserve 5 stars!!!) is that the female scheduler, Carol, although very nice and helpful during the weekend, suddenly behaved very strangely on Tuesday when they came to clean. It was an hour after their arrival time, and I was not contacted at all. So I contacted them, and it was a mess of her saying "they'll be there at this time", and then another hour passed! It was very frustrating of course! 2 hours late! If they had contacted me and said what actually happened "Fernanda contacted me earlier this morning before your appointment that the first clean is much, much dirtier than the client stated. Is it ok if they come 2 hours later?" then I would have been TOTALLY ok with that! But I heard nothing, and she tried to blame it on Fernanda and Jackie not being able to pick up the phone since they were driving, yet she admitted she'd known from early in the morning. The cleaning ladies did their part. She was the one who dropped the ball and didn't do her part. I personally can't stand it when people won't take responsibility and apologize, especially when they try to throw their employees under the bus. That made me really mad. I responded respectfully yet honestly that it wasn't ok at all and that I saw through her attempts to blame shift. She finally apologized, which I appreciate, but she was silent for a long time before she did. I feel so bad for the cleaning ladies there, because most people may not have seen through her blame shifting and would have gone off on Fernanda and Jackie, when it 100% was not there fault! So that made me lose a lot of respect for their bosses, because I don't respect things like that. It's definitely not ok. If that hadn't happened, I'd only be raving about how hard the very nice ladies worked and how amazing my house now looks!!! :) So long story short, I may try them again, but I'm going to insist that they treat their cleaners and clients better. If they genuinely change (because we all make mistakes), then I'd love to have Fernanda and Jackie over as often as I can afford it! :)
